This comfortable home on the edge of a country estate near Lincoln offers a relaxing base for families or friends. Just 5 miles from the city centre, it provides easy access to Lincoln’s historic cathedral, castle, and cobbled streets. Closer to home, the estate offers woodland walks, cycling routes, and a range of on-site amenities including a farm shop, café, restaurant, and the historic Doddington Hall and gardens. Guests can also enjoy the padel courts, browse the interiors and clothing stores, or hire bikes from the Giant cycle shop. Whether you're exploring the countryside, picking up local produce, or simply relaxing, there’s plenty to enjoy without straying far.
The house is well laid out for group stays. Enter through the side door into a large and functional kitchen with all the essentials for day-to-day cooking. A smart attached dining room, with a second smart TV and a table for eight, makes it easy for everyone to eat together. Two nicely decorated living rooms offer space to spread out, each with comfortable leather sofas. One has a Smart TV and wood burner—ideal for casual evenings in. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms: two king-size rooms with en-suite showers and two twin rooms. There's also a main bathroom with a bath and handheld shower.
Outside, the enclosed, private garden offers a quiet space to relax with a meal or enjoy a BBQ in warmer months. The estate shops, cafés and padel courts are just a short half a mile drive away. Private parking for up to four cars is available. This is one of four holiday homes available to book on the estate, which is handy for larger groups travelling together.
