Front row seat/ Kite Festival

Sea Gypsy is just north of the park where they hold the Festival. Our 3rd floor condo was an incredible view! Bed were great. Kitchen has everything!

Beautiful ocean view

This rental was great for me and my family (spouse and two kids). Lots of space, great ocean view, right on the beach. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is the wifi. At peak times it was nearly impossible to watch a show or movie. It was quite frustrating. Especially after sunset when most everyone has come back tot their condo and is trying to stream something. The wifi speed needs to be upgraded to meet the demand.

Such a nice retreat for me during my sorrow time

All in all was in good condition except the hot water was never enough. One skillet was dirty and one table by the window was terribly unstable. Other than that, I felt peaceful watching the ocean and drawing closer to God. Thanks for allowing me stay at ur unit 310. God bless you… Janece

Wonderful place

Like Coming Home!

We started coming here after my Mom's passing 10 years ago. It is an annual tradition at this point. Driving up to the Sea Gypsy is like coming home to a familiar place of comfort and joy. Excellent location and wonderful hosts - love the way the key code is keyed especially for you so no need to meet with anyone to get access - we will see you again next year!

Nice spot, poor cleaning

Nice spot and we had a good time. The pool was a very nice amenity. Unfortunately, the unit itself was very poorly cleaned. The non-carpeted floor was so dirty, our baby had what looked black soot all over his hands and legs just from crawling on it briefly when we first arrived. One of the comforters had a spot of what looked like dried mucus. Any vacuuming was very superficial, and there were crumbs in the cracks on the table and on the floor from the previous guests. The prominent table base in the main bedroom had a huge layer of dust and hair on it. Overall, it was a decent place, but the lack of cleanliness for such an expensive stay was very disappointing.

Birthday Getaway

The unit was clean and very nice. I loved that there were two bathrooms so we weren’t fighting over space. The only downside of the entire trip is that the “heated” pool was freezing cold. I wish there was a way to change that.

Always good to go to the beach

The condo was very clean and appointed. The only thing that I would change, would be the beds in the bedroom. I can't imagine that there would be two individuals in that room, unless they were married or partners. The beds were extremely small and uncomfortable. The other rooms I have stayed in, in that building had a queen bed in the extra room. However, the murphy bed was great. Plenty of room and it could be closed up to get it out of the way. allowed room for a couch. Very nice otherwise.

Comfortable and Peaceful Stay

The property is in a prime location - open the window and you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean! Being on the top floor means that there are no heavy footsteps waking you up in the morning nor keeping you up at night. There is a definite lean to the unit due to age (note the propped up refrigerator) and we were able to fix the stove element on the back right of the stove as it seems someone had pulled it out at some point in time. The unit has everything you need to prepare your meals and enjoy the time you have - we have stayed here multiple times and hope to continue. After my parents died many years ago around Labor Day, we use this time to remember them by and the location of this place is absolutely the best! Checking in is so easy - you get an email with the code to get into the unit. Communication with the owner is always quickly responded to. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in this wonderful place!

What a view!

Pretty nice place to stay. Was a little unhappy when we first pulled up to see that the building was a full on hotel but after we got in and settled it was pretty good. The place was extremely clean and the view was fantastic!

Good for One Night

The unit is in a great location with easy access to the beach. The views are amazing and the unit was well equipped with plenty of linens and kitchen necessities. We felt like the unit could use some updating and TLC. The paint needs touching up. The décor is a bit dated. The carpets were stained and the stove doesn't work very well (one burner wouldn't work at all). It was fine for a one night stay or if you aren't planning to cook alot.
