Nice view of ocean, but no chairs inside to sit and enjoy the view. Beds really hard. Couldn't get the fireplace to turn on. Place was clean. Could hear lots of foot traffic due to stairs next to room to get to beach. Not an easy access to beach.

It was a good stay but we felt for the price we paid it would have been better quality than what it was. It's pretty run down. Beach access is close but it's a walk up and down steep road. Neighbors were really noisy above us as well which my kids didn't like.

Great view & clean

Property was nice, clean & wonderfully located. The room changed slightly from the online posting: fridge is replaced with a dorm fridge with only an internal freezer & the headboards are off the beds. I was very disappointed that the fireplace did not function & that was a primary reason for booking the room over other VRBOs. The rental responded quickly to my concern, but was unable to complete the repair during my stay, (apparently a part needed to be ordered) so the fireplace stayed dark. So while the owner was very responsive and transparent about the issue and repair process, I was still disappointed that I didn’t have a working fireplace. But overall the room was great, view was beautiful, and I enjoyed my stay a lot. Once the fireplace is fixed I’d totally stay again without hesitation

The location smelled like feet and the property manager said “did you try opening the window”. The outside hallways to the location were deteriorating. I tried to smother the smell by using febreze to no avail. The property manager asked if it was okay for someone to enter the room the next day and i said yes, as long as we were made aware and got a phone call in advance, prior to them coming or even entering the property. They then admitted that the property did have an odor, but nothing that smelled like feet. Not only are they not helpful, the property doesn’t look like what’s advertised, but the property stinks. I asked a neighboring renter, and they advised me that their unit smelled like urine. Moral of the story, it was not my unit that had a fowl odor, it’s likely to be every unit. Stay at Siletz Bay by OYÓ instead. Extremely helpful General Manager, extremely kind staff.

Beautiful view, terrible beds and customer service.

My daughter had stayed at this property many times (in a different unit), and gave it high praise for the beautiful view. Unfortunately, that was one of the only good things about this stay. - Arrived to the floor entirely covered in sand and the sliding door unlocked. - Beds are absolutely hard as stone. All three of us barely slept and woke up incredibly sore. - Bathroom was dirty, with hair still on the shower wall from previous visitors. The shower head was also loose from the wall. - Very concerned with the lack of lock on the sliding door, and only provided a thin wooden stick to keep it in place. We contacted the manager’s number via Vacasa to find out about leaving after the first night, due to the beds being so bad, and were hung up on the first time. The second time, we were asked if we had travel insurance and then completely ignored when asking questions. We ended up not staying the second night due to the beds and this response. Very disappointed, because the view and getting to hear the waves was lovely, but couldn’t make up for the awful beds.

I loved the fact that you could sleep with your sliding glass door open and listen to the waves crushing against the beach all night only down fall was our beach access was shut down for repairs sooo we had to walk a pretty good ways away from our resort beach area

I do not recommend this listing…

1. Security needs improvement: Upon entry, the sliding glass door was not locked (it had no lock) and a 3/4 wooden dowel is used to secure it. The wooden dowel was not in the correct place so anyone could have entered before I arrived. 2. Listing does not state that kitchen equipment but no drinking vessels are available. Good thing I had a travel mug. 3. With fees, this space is very overpriced and I would like a partial refund/credit 4. The bed was bare minimum. Too firm. 5. The customer service offered was responsive, but did not follow through. Therefore, as a first complaint, I do not recommend this listing.

This was a deceitful listing, everything was terrible…furnishings, bedding, stay at motel 6 you’d be better off than this horrible property only thing good to say was the view was awesome but this property was the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced

Mini vacation

Lots of stairs and was super hot in the upstairs apartment. Three fans were provided which was adequate after sunset. The accomodations did not reflect the high end price point. The place was very clean and had a good view.

I loved having a dramatic view of the ocean from our window. The room felt spacious and open and the bed was comfortable. I was excited to have a gas fireplace, but unfortunately it only gives out a tiny (2 inch) flame, probably for safety reasons but I was able to call Vacasa and discuss this with the staff and they were very kind. The arrangement of the bathroom and kitchen was open and well-lighted. The price was very reasonable.
