Spacious home which fit our family of 17 comfortably however there were many issues with basic amenities. For starters the stair tread was not attached on the stairway to the top floor resulting in a family member slipping and falling. The large arm chair has a broken spring in the seat cushion. There was a broken metal prong left in an outlet. One of the barstool footboards is broken with exposed shards of wood and the smoke alarm went off at 4:30am in a locked room that we did not have access to. I called to report and no one ever reached out to address the issue. The small home had either hot or cold water, nothing in between as well as many windows which did not lock and the sliding glass door rattled all night due to leaking argon. The lights in the smaller home vanity flickered and went out frequently. The shower head in small house trickled water and there were no drain covers. The fireplace rattles with unclear had written directions and needs battery replaced in thermostat

Family reunion at the beach

Beautiful view of the ocean from the house. Very short walk to the beach. Spacious enough to accomodate our large extended family. Clean and comfortable. Quick response to a maintenance problem. Our only concern was the condition of the deck and stairs at the front door. Some of the wood slats were rotting and unsecure and we had to step carefully going down.

Happy July 4th

What a location! We had a great time. LOVED exploring the beach with the kids. One person in our group actually found the famous “glass globes” that they hide along the beachfront! House worked perfectly for our family - all 16 of us! The house was adequately stocked and the bedrooms were spaced out nicely. Highly recommend

Family Reunion

Our family consists of 22 people. Grandkids ranging in the ages of 16 down to three. Everyone had a great time. There was plenty of space to spread the kids out. We enjoyed walking down to the beach every day. The kitchen is well equipped. All of the regular bedding is great. Some of the fold out beds were a little suspect and we didn’t use them.

A 50th Birthday Celebration with Eighteen Guests

The check in process was a little rocky as the instructions given regarding the keys, location of lock boxes & how they work were a little challenging.The home was very clean. Some appliances worked AMAZING (oven, BBQ, washer/dryer). Some things around the house were broken, didn’t work well or were just a little strange (dishwasher, screen door upstairs, downstairs shower, hot water distribution (in both homes). It was not clear in the initial listing that this is two separate homes. It worked out well in the end, but the planning had to have some kinks worked out on the fly.Overall, the space was very conducive to a large gathering & the kitchen was well stocked. It was clean & comfortable. The beach access was just amazing & the views from the home were very nice.I do recommend this property.

Wonderful, minus a few things in bigger picture

Due to the size of our group, 22, we had both the Big house and the cottage. There were a number of cleanliness issues with the cottage and a problem with a door. The dishwasher in the main house didn't work and we were told by someone that "it's been needing to be replaced for a year". All in all, we had a terrific time, but a little TLC is probably in order.

Family Gathering

Great house and cottage for family of 8 - 75yrs old. Lots of activities inside at the house(pool table, tennis table etc) and a nice yard for outside activities. Cottage house was very nice with nice size bedrooms. We called it the Senior Center as us old folks stayed in it. Would stay there again!

Honest input

This was our 2nd time staying at this location. The location and houses are fantastic. Problems: getting into the house is difficult because the instructions about the "locks" are not clear and correct. For example, your instructions say that the lockbox on the cottage is "near the garage in a covered area". It is NOT there, it's on the front porch . Also instructions about "alarms" are not needed because the alarms are not in use. The dish washer does not work right-- we had to run every load twice to get dishes clean, and even then it wasn't good. There were not enough dishwasher detergent pods. We had to use "beach towels " because there were only 4 bath towels available.

Christmas Family Gathering

My husband and I are newlyweds, and we were looking for a place that would bring together both sets of adult children and grandchildren for the holidays. This large and cozy home with its close proximity to the beach worked perfectly for our group. We loved that the main living spaces were connected ... so while someone was cooking in the kitchen, others were playing games at the dining table, and a family pool tournament was taking place upstairs in the open family room. We highly recommend this lovely home for your large group!

Great location but smell was horrible

We stayed here for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary get together with people from the ages of 5-80. The location and layout of the property was great, HOWEVER, when we arrived on time for check in, the cleaners were still there and didn’t leave for 30 mins. The smell was absolutely horrible fish smell. So bad that we couldn’t even use ping pong table and foosball table in garage and after 3 days it was still bad. The property manager’s response when I told them was “We’re sorry, have you tried opening the windows”…. I would have expected some type of refund due to the amount we spent. We won’t stay here again.

Great Family Reunion Location

The house is lovely and the location is excellent. Before we arrived, I had questions about what was provided in the house. When I called the help number I was told that all the information was on the app, but I did not find the answers there. We had trouble with the entry codes and had to call for help. The staff member who took our call was very helpful but couldn't solve the problem. He sent for a maintenance staff person who arrived quickly and helped us gain entry. The keyless entry gave us trouble our entire stay and we had to depend on the lockbox keys which the staff person had retrieved for us when he came to help. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay. The house is open and spacious with a lovely view of the ocean and within steps of the beach. Everyone in the family was pleased with the accommodations.

Beautiful home, beautiful furnishings. Equipped with everything you need for feeding people. Great access to Beach, Shopping and things to do. I did have lots of issues and had to speak with and communicate with someone from VRBO everyday I was there. Either email, texting or phone conversations. I had better things to do! My family and friends did get most of their sights and fun in however. I know things happen but it started from the get go with having the wrong key code. Thank goodness the cleaning person had not left yet and helped us get in after she made some phone calls. Thank you for plenty of room for everybody, my family from out of state where so Blessed by all the area beauty they got to see and visit. Thank you

Loved this property!!

We loved this property! We spent the week here with our children and grandchildren and the house was perfect! We had a problem when checking in because the codes we were given to get in the house didn't work. We made a quick phone call and we were given a couple other codes to try and we were in the house in about 15 minutes. The home is very spacious and well stocked with lots of household / kitchen items. There were lots of puzzles, games, a pool table, shuffleboard, ping pong and a poker table. There was an issue with having enough hot water in the kitchen sink but there was always plenty of hot water for showers. The cute guest house was perfect for our newly married daughter and son in law. The beach is a five minute walk away and the fire pit was perfect for s’mores. We even saw a few deer walking through the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice House - wrong house codes

Overall the house was nice, clean and large enough to handle a big group. The only complaint was that the house codes listed in the check in email were not correct and it took us an hour to get into the house. We had to call the Vacasa service line which wasn't that ideal to work with and they also gave us the wrong codes.
