Welcome to the Jetty Cozy Cottage!

Escape to our cozy studio cottage tucked alongside beautiful wetland habitat at the end of a quiet residential dead-end street. You'll feel like you're staying in a little cabin in the woods while still being close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and everything Lincoln City has to offer. Siletz Bay is just a 3-minute walk away!

At approximately 320 square feet, our cottage is a cozy retreat that's especially well suited for couples. After a day exploring the coast, relax on our soft Nectar queen memory-foam mattress, play board games by the fireplace, or watch Netflix from the loveseat or bed. The Smart TV is on a swivel mount so you can adjust it to where you're relaxing.

KITCHEN & DINING

The kitchen has the essentials for preparing meals—or cooking up clams from the bay! There is no traditional oven, but you'll have a glass cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and mini refrigerator with freezer.

Enjoy meals at the little bar table for two or outside at the bistro table on the back patio.

We provide coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer.

CLAMMING, CRABBING & THE FIRE PIT

Guests are welcome to use the clam gun, rakes, shovel, and crab ring stored in the shed. We also provide roasting sticks for marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit.

If you use the clamming or crabbing equipment, please rinse it thoroughly with the outdoor hose before returning it to the shed. Use of recreational equipment off the property is at your own risk.

A RUSTIC WETLAND SETTING

One of our favorite things about the cottage is its natural setting. The backyard borders wetland habitat and is intentionally rustic, with native plants and plenty of local wildlife.

Depending on the season, you may see deer feeding nearby, raccoons snoozing in the spruce trees, great blue herons flying overhead, and bald eagles hunting around the bay.

This also means bugs and other little critters are part of coastal life! You may occasionally find a spider or roly-poly inside despite our quarterly pest-control service. If you're uncomfortable being close to nature, our cottage may not be the best fit.

IMPORTANT COASTAL CONDITIONS

Please note: Our neighborhood experienced flooding in 2025, and a neighbor farther down the road is completing repairs during fall 2026. There may occasionally be construction-related activity during this period.

The cottage is located in a flood and tsunami hazard zone. During the winter, a combination of king tides, heavy rain, and high tides can cause flooding on the property.

Please review the tsunami evacuation information provided in our welcome booklet. The local tsunami warning system is tested every Wednesday between approximately 11 AM and noon. The test lasts only a few seconds; during an actual emergency, the alarm will sound for several minutes.

COASTAL MOISTURE

Like many homes on the Oregon Coast—and particularly those near wetlands—our cottage experiences high humidity and occasional musty coastal smells.

We provide a powerful dehumidifier in the bathroom to help control moisture. Please leave the heat on when checking out, as this helps us keep the cottage warm and dry between guests.

We also use a couple of lightly scented reed diffusers inside the cottage.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

The cottage is small and cozy, so there are no closets or significant storage areas. We provide a small dresser and a bench for luggage.

There are no laundry facilities at the cottage, but public laundromats are available in town.

Cell reception in our immediate area is very limited. Wi-Fi is available at the cottage, so we recommend saving your directions before arriving and connecting to Wi-Fi once you're here.

Guests have access to the cottage, yard, and shed. The loft is NOT available for guest use. City regulations do not allow us to provide guests access by ladder in a vacation rental. Please do not attempt to remove or use the ladder.

OCCUPANCY & BOOKING

The person booking the cottage must be at least 21 years old, as required by our liability insurance.

Maximum occupancy is 2 guests. Children count toward the maximum occupancy under local regulations; however, infants under age 2 are permitted and do not count toward the occupancy limit.

Please don't book the cottage on behalf of someone else. If you'd like to give someone a stay as a gift, we recommend purchasing a gift card and having the person who will actually be staying make the reservation. Important check-in information is sent directly through the booking platform.

During the off-season (November through February), we often have more flexibility with early check-in and late checkout. Feel free to ask, and we'll accommodate you whenever our schedule allows.

We also consider extended monthly stays during the off-season for guests with at least five 5-star reviews.

PETS

At this time, we do not allow guest pets.

This is also our family's little piece of paradise, and we visit several times a year with our own dogs. Guests with significant pet allergies should be aware that dogs are periodically present in the cottage.

PLUMBING

As with many small coastal cottages, our plumbing is sensitive. Please put only soap and water down the kitchen sink—no food, grease, eggshells, or other waste.

Only toilet paper and human waste may be flushed. Please do not flush wipes or other products, even those labeled "flushable."

PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY

Our little dead-end road is home to children, cats, other pets, and plenty of wildlife. Please drive no faster than 5 MPH when traveling to and from the cottage.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans sometimes change unexpectedly, and as travelers ourselves, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

We have a Firm cancellation policy. Reservations canceled at least 30 days before arrival are eligible for a full refund according to our policy. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival, we cannot guarantee a full refund because we're not always able to rebook the dates and may have already incurred cleaning or other expenses.

If you know you won't be able to make your trip, we appreciate as much notice as possible.

We love this little cottage and the unique environment surrounding it. Coastal storms, salty air, wetlands, and wildlife can be tough on homes, and we work hard to keep everything comfortable and well maintained.
