Perfect Location, Plenty of Space

Brent was great at communicating, the house is an easy walk of 1 block from the beach. Always windy so bring a kite, but still lovely. The hot tub was the perfect retreat after the beach. We made a complex meal for dinner and the house had everything we needed: from peelers to potato masher.

Awesome house and amazing location

House was exactly as listed. We loved the beach view, hot tub, short walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood and so much more. The house had everything that our family needed and more. We would definitely stay here again!

Just BEAUTIFUL

We had such a wonderful time! The place is so cozy and homey feeling. Great location walk to the beach listen to the waves crash at night seen so many deer and baby deer all over the place it was awesome! Would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Beautiful View

This property is really nice. A group of 5 of us stayed for 4 nights 5 days. When we messaged the owner about a leaky sink he was very quick to respond and worked with us on a solution. The view from the dining area is stunning. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice bonus. We would stay here again.

Great stay!

Had a great time at this property. It's large! And lots of seating. Can't beat the location either. One block from the beach and a short walk to a great hiking trailhead. Hot tub was a bonus, especially on a rainy day. And the place was clean. No complaints.

Exactly what we were looking for

This house matches it’s listing perfectly. It was clean and had a great view. The beds are soft and cozy, but if a firm mattress is more your thing, the hide-a-beds are firm, comfortable and solid (without that notorious hide-a-bed rail).

Nice home only a block from beach entrances

Stayed 4 nights with my wife and our 2 adult children and their significant others. (6 adults 1 dog)The public space furniture was nice. The beds were okay. The heat was tough to regulate. It was cold before bedtime, and then we all woke up hot around 3 am -multiple nights. The furnace rattled when running - quite noisy to ground floor bedrooms. Hot water was slow to showers/sinks.The internet could be slow and lagged when watching TV. Navigating the many remotes to get Spectrum TV took much trial. The hot tub was great. The living room view allowed us to see the king tide waves between the houses in front of us (view of the sand is blocked by houses and dunes). The Kitchen is a "U" shape with appliances against one wall, the sink at the bottom of the "U", and a counter with stools on the dining room side. The small aisle between the two arms of the "U" meant that a person at the sink was trapped until someone using the stove backed out. The refrigerator door can't swing completely open because of the narrow aisle.A major disappointment was though photos show a fireplace, when we arrived there was a piece of paper on the firebox that says - do not use. With the weather being stormy, a fire in a fireplace would have been a nice addition, and one of the filters I used when searching for a place to stay.Clean-up requirements were reasonable.If a fireplace wasn't a desire of ours, the location would probably have us consider staying here again.

Great location and lots of space!

We were pleasantly surprised by how much space there was for our group of gals. Gorgeous view of the ocean and the hot tub had a good amount of privacy. Lovely spot!

The Wellars visit.

Loved the house and neighborhood. Really enjoyed the deer. Just my opinion, but the metal windows should be replaced. They appear to have alot of dirt and mold on them. Also who ever was there prior to us left grease dripped on the ledge of the stove drawer. We cleaned it as best we could but pretty stuck on. Never did figure out the remotes, which did what.

Good Location!

The weather was perfect for our stay - sitting on the balcony to listen to the ocean was so peaceful. Beach access was steps from the house. All good things for our group. The house could use some refreshers.. but overall, things were good. The kitchen was stocked with the equipment we needed. My favorite feature was the quiet we experienced in the master bedroom when we closed the door!

Not to the standard of a vacation rental. Barely passes for clean.

The owners are nice and communicated great, BUT, this property is just not to the standard of a vacation rental. This place was a huge disappointment. The walls through out the whole house are dirty, not dust, like mud, hand prints, gross. Everywhere through out the house was just barely clean, it’s like if you went and stayed at your grandparents home for a week. It’s stayable but not enjoyable. The upstairs shower BARELY turns on, you practically have to rip the handle off the wall to get it to turn on. The shower head is also only 5 feet off the ground, me and my husband had to fully squat in the shower to wash our hair/bodies. The fridge door doesn’t open all the way before hitting the kitchen island, you can’t stand in front of the dishwasher to wash dishes and have the dishwasher open to put the dishes in, because there isn’t enough space between the island and dishwasher to even open it all the way. Also the furnace completely gave out the first day of the trip and the indoor temperature was 56 degrees, on the ocean, with little kids in the house. Things happen, but the technician said nothing broke, it was just dirty and clogged, so goes the whole house. Maybe take a solid two weeks to make your home nice enough to rent…
