Good things: Location couldn’t be better! Price is good. Furnishings are very comfortable. Communication is good. Great access to the beach. There was a bucket and shovel for building sand castles and digging at the beach. Bad things: We were disappointed in the cleanliness. Had the housekeepers taken 10-15 minutes to wipe all the dirt smudges off the surfaces it would’ve been a much higher rated stay.

Long weekend

Property was very dated. The walls and baseboards were damaged and had spackle and paint visible in lots of rooms. Walls were dirty and need painting. Grass out back had not been mowed and taken care of.

Great location!

We stayed on the bottom floor, which is advertised as a condo. Location is meer feet from Kyllos restaurant, which is great. Easy beach access. The pool and sauna are nice to have, although it seemed like a clorine pool rather than salt water. The shared back patio was to have for views and fresh, ocean air.

Love Lincoln City and Sea Gypsy just not this condo!

We have stay in Lincoln City for years and it is a yearly winter trip for us. We have stayed at the Sea Gypsy many times and made this one of our preferred places. This was our first and last time in this condo. The bed was horrible, closet and storage space was lacking and cluttered, and the flooring had gaps and was really tacky and horrible to walk on. The place in general REALLY needs attention. This place was also WAY over priced. I know ownership will apologize and say they appreciate the feed back, but it is clear the owners do not take pride in ownership of their rental and want to make a quick buck. I do not recommend staying in this unit! I was also not happy showing up to a 50deg temp in the condo!

Beachfront getaway

The check in process was very easy. The view was phenomenal. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. Overall the condo was clean and comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again!

Beach getaway

Loved our 3 night stay here. The location was perfect. The beach is incredible and the unit had everything we needed We were able to walk out the front door to Kyllos which is a fantastic restaurant. Perfect beach getaway

Excellent Stay

We had a very comfortable stay. This cottage 118 was beautiful, clean, with lovely decor and amenities. It felt like home. They had all the amenities to be able to cook your own meals without having to pack cookware, cutlery and dishware. Beach access was a short distance from the cottage, and the ocean view was spectacular. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much! Dave and Bee

Intimate with the sea!

A great value! Everything es needed plus some! Loved the dry sauna! Best of all was hearing the waves and experiencing them crash right below us as we sat cozily inside the room! I could do without the chain link fence obstructing the view but I’d come back anyways as we loved being so up close and personal with the sea!

Nice place to stay

Overall, the place was well taken care of and nicely provisioned for our stay. We had a comfortable stay. The only complaint I have is that housekeeping showed up at the door right at 11 AM. We told him we were loading up the car and would be out in a few minutes. Not more than 5 minutes later someone from the front office called asking why were weren't out of the place yet. We were literally sitting in my car ready to drive off when they called. Didn't really set well with us but can't really complain as the instructions clearly stated checkout time is 11:00 AM.

It was fine

Condo was older than it looked in the listing, but it was clean and well stocked. Only issue was that the screen door was broken so we weren't able to leave the slider open to hear the waves and appreciate the view like we had hoped. Brought it to the office attention the minute we checked in, but they didn't fix it like they said they would. We really enjoyed our stay though and would do it again.

Stellar view and access to the beach.

The property is well located and has perfect views and access to the beach. We also loved the access to the D River! We would definitely return. The only feed back I could give is the kitchen appliances/utensils left much to be desired. Very hard to cook on the crooked burners and the pans are worn out. I would still rent again just plan more oven meals than stove top. My boys complained about the sofa bed being uncomfortable. I would bring an air mattress for them if staying longer than a couple of nights.

Great getaway

The Sea Gypsy is a great location for the beach. The unit we stayed in had beach chairs and basic essentials you would need to enjoy your time in Lincoln City. We had a fire on the beach almost every night… The beds were very comfortable!!

Great Location

We had a great time at the bench and view from our back window was amazing. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked to cook our meals. The room had lawn chairs to set outside and watch the sunset. The condo has a place to wash off your feet and other gear after the beach. One downside was we could not connect to the internet following the instructions given, but that was minor since there were lots of things to do.

Great view and nice setup

This is the second time we have stayed here and it is really great, although a bit too expensive. Only other complaint is the ceiling fan in the living room is about to come down and needs fixed. Other than those two things the location and everything else is amazing.
