It had been touch and go as to whether the recent bushfires would put a stop to our stay. The communication with the Book High Country team, was exceptional. The property was not presented in a clean or well-maintained condition on arrival, with several areas clearly overlooked. Basic amenities were below standard like dirty towels and hair in the bedsheets, which made the stay uncomfortable.
