"La habitación es muy cómoda por tamaño. Las almohadas muuuy altas. NO ES VERDAD Q ESTÁ SOBRE LA PLAYA. Hay que bajar un cerro unos 500 metros y luego por supuesto subirlo. Nos cobraron 10 euros por prestarnos la toalla para ir a la playa. Nunca nos avisaron de este costo. Está ubicado a 15 minutos de Tropea en el medio de la nada. Geográficamente la zona de playa es hermosa"

"Lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. A great pool area with reserved sunbeds for each room. A short walk from a lovely quiet beach (it is up a hill so there is an incline coming back but it’s relatively short and not a problem). It’s a short walk to the town and train station. The views are fabulous with one of the best sunset views in the area! All in all we highly recommend."

"Beautiful and tranquil small hotel. Rossella was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was good. The hotel has many stairs, so it may not be a good choice for people with mobility issues. The location was perfect "

"La struttura è pulita e accogliente e il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Piscina o giardino puliti, colazione abbondante e ottima cucina a cena! È vicino alla stazione del treno che collega direttamente con Tropea e altre località. La spiaggia di Scalea e di Riaci sono raggiungibili a piedi."

"The room is superb. But have tiny issues, like the tv didn’t work well, the shower is nice but the spray shower hear that you can hold didn’t work. We didn’t use the sauna because it’s hot season."

"My family and I (husband and teen daughter) had a fantastic stay in June. We were given such warm and welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend Villa II Barone and the beautiful town of Tropea. It was our favourite place in Italy. "

"The property had great facility’s , very relaxing sauna ,and spa , breakfast menu had a wide range of pastries , fresh fruit and coffee to order , the Owner really worked hard to make our stay comfortable , spoke fluent English and very helpful with information regarding the area. "It is an old convent, still partially in use? Right on the water, awesome, rustic for sure. Dont expect hotel chain experience, this stay is about the awesome staff, great locationnand quiet , clean place. Very unique."

"Era lo que buscábamos para pasar una noche sntes de cruzar a Sicilia. Cerca del puerto para ir a la mañana siguinte al embarque. Es un lugar cómodo, bien ubicado y de fácil acceso."

"Mitten im Zentrum von Tropea und doch ruhig (Ende September) Unser Zimmer war sehr groß mit Jacuzzi Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick zum Stromboli. Die beiden Damen sind ebenfalls sehr freudlich. Saverio hat eine sehr freundliche Art. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Er hat viele Tipps für gute Lokale. Zum Stadtstrand nur ein kurzer Treppenabstieg. Von Il Barone werden kostenfrei Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt.Das Wasser ist traumhaft klar."
