I've stayed here many times over the years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is decent. It's a cool place to stay a few nights.

Currently remodeling

The room was nice and bed very comfortable. 2/3 of the hotel was under construction, the pool was closed, and the breakfast was not of the usual quality.

Such an easy walk around the corner to the icehouse, amphitheater, and many restaurants. If you were there on the weekend plan to hear the music, (maybe choose another location if you need to sleep early in the evening) but I loved the band and sound of music filling Main Street. The hotel was perfect for a night.

The room was very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. However, the room had a loud AC unit and there was renovations going on, but neither posed that much of an inconvenience.

Very nice hotel and close to everything in Lexington, SC. Only bad thing is the parking. You can only park on one side of the hotel. When your room is on the other side of the hotel, it is quite far.

Hefty price for a disrupted night’s sleep

I chose this hotel and payed extra because of the central location and indoor pool which was wonderful and enjoyed by my 2 young children. However, we were given room 111 which was directly adjacent to the fitness center and with several teenagers running and chatting on the treadmills until 10pm we went to bed a lot later than usual and were awoken at 5:30 am by a dad and son on the treadmills (despite the fitness center hours being 10-6?!) I don’t think it was appropriate to put a family with young children in that room and I was there to attend a job fair in the morning and had the worst night sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel despite paying alot more than any other hotel I’ve stayed at ($190)

We mainly booked with them because they had a pool. The pool was freezing. For an indoor pool, why was the water so cold? I would estimate that it was in the 70's. We couldn't figure out how to get the shower working. Apparently, they have a model at the front desk to show how to use the shower. But, the person that checked us in didn't bother showing us. I even called the front desk to see how to use the shower, and was not given good advice.

The Comfort Suites Lexington offered a wonderful setting for my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room and king size bed were comfortable and clean, and the complimentary breakfast was very convenient and offered a number of fairly good breakfast options. There were just two things I wish the hotel could address. One is the efficient, although noisy, HVAC system in the room. I'm guessing it's an older system (built into the wall under the window). It did cool the room but was pretty loud. And the other was that I didn't see any recycling bins on the property. Maybe I just missed them, but I would have appreciated having those placed throughout the hotel.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, a yummy breakfast and convenient location made for a great stay. They're still doing renovations, which brought a little noise in the mornings, but it wasn't a big deal.

I arrived at 5 in the afternoon after an 8.5 hour drive. I had to go check in with associates, as we were planning for an event the next day. I returned to my room at 11:00pm to a hear a screaming baby until almost 1am. I was startled out of my sleep buy banging and sawing which sounded as if it where right in my room at 8am. I called the front desk, explained that I was up for hours listen to a baby cry and had planned on sleeping in because I didn’t have to get to my event until late afternoon. I called the front desk and received immediate apologies, she explained the room above me was being renovated. I asked why would the young lady who checked me in put anyone in a room under a construction zone? She immediately accommodated me with a room change and a discount. I went on to my new room and continued resting. Went to my event it was a wonderful evening. Until I returned to my room to the smell of marijuana! It’s supposed to be a no smoking allowed in the building. The smell was in the hall outside of my suite I had to dampen a towel and place it along the bottom of the door. I was too exhausted to confront the front desk for yet another move and at this point it was almost 1am. Over all one of my worst stays in a hotel. The property was lovely, the rooms were clean and the beds would have been great with out all of the disturbances. I will say staff who booked the 1st room D no one should have been put in that room. Staff that switched my room A for having great CS
