Charming community and lovely home. Close to shopping and restaurants. Host is helpful and responsive, yet non-intrusive. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Just what I needed to unwind and relax.

This home was a perfect location! Also very comfy, cozy & quaint! Plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very attentive and helpful in all ways! The bakery, just a few steps away, is fantastic. The deck is great for sitting out in the evening or morning coffee. We would stay here again. And I would highly recommend.

Great place to stay!

My friends and I spent 2 nights in this marvelous cottage. The town is quite unique with delicious places to eat, where you can sit outside, if you want to watch those passing by. We sat around the firepit in the evening-great place to sip bourbon :). Location has easy access to the many bourbon sites and tours. I highly recommend staying here, Stephen was a great host, we hope to return..

Golfing and bourbon

Between the bourbon distilleries and the golf courses that we chose to play the location was ideal. The property was everything that we needed and Steve was great. He was there for anything if we needed it.

Excellent choice to stay, relax, laugh and renew. This cottage was perfect for our long weekend. The rooms inside were comfortable and cozy. The artwork and decor were an added plus. The outside deck was so relaxing for our morning coffee and pastries from the bakery 2 doors down. Steve is the host with the most. We love what Midway has to offer and will be back. Thank you Steve! What an amazing find!

The listing is very charming with lots of great pictures, but the house was even more charming in person. What you can't see is that it sits in a beautiful small town with several great restaurants within walking distance. Couldn't have had a better experience!

Quaint cottage in beautiful horse country

Absolutely perfect little cottage in horse country. Close to Keeneland for a perfect weekend trip with the family. Beautiful porch and fire pit in the yard. Would 100% recommend. Steve was incredibly helpful with not only the home but recommendations in the area and keeneland tips.

Comfortable house, quiet location, beautiful country. Location is very convenient to both Lexington and Frankfort. Steve is very friendly, accommodating, helpful. We planned an extra day to explore the area and wished we had longer. We will return for a longer staywhen we get the opportunity.

Bourbon Trail Newbies

My brother, myself and our spouses combined bourbon and a family gathering. I looked at The Charming cottage location and the pictures plus glowing reviews. I decided right away that this was the place for us. I don’t like to brag, but I picked us a winner! Steve is a wonderful host.

Convenient and Clean

We had a group of friends meet up that live in different states. The property was convenient to activities and restaurants and also had a great outdoor space to hang out and catch up. Nice lay out. Everyone had their own bed without having to stay in separate hotel rooms. The owner was helpful and friendly.

Charm and more charm

While you are only an hour or so into the "south", the southern charm and southern hospitality are second to none. Steve is as lovely and accommodating as they come. He goes well above expectations and includes many added touches that make all the difference. His cottage is so lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend.
