Excellent location on beach. All bedrooms very comfortable, large, good storage for clothing, comfortable mattresses. There was 10 in our group and house was large enough for us. Kitchen large with great appliances and well stockedAll in all a great place for a beach vacation.

Amazing stay in lewes

House is perfect for multiple families with kids (we had 6 kids ages baby to 4). Every bedroom has its own bathroom/shower. There is a large "bonus room" off a bedroom up stairs that was perfect to use as a play room. Kept kids toys/stuff out of the main living space. Out door area is awesome and we got a ton of use out of the screened in porch. Proximity to the water is great with a beach that felt totally private and not crowded at all. Easy bike ride into town. Also easy walk or bike ride to the ferry port which has a great restaurant, outdoor bar and playground. 10/10 recommend the house and can not wait to return next year.

Senior ladies week in Lewes DE

This huge house is great and we had a wonderful time. Viewing the property on line and not seeing it personally prior to check in and not reading reviews there were some disappointments. Having two bedrooms on the top floor without a FULL bathroom (only a powder room) was an inconvenience. Main air conditioner broke prior to our check in. The owner did install window units which cooled the house, but noisy when sleeping. The elevator broke mid week and couldn't be repaired prior to our checkout on Saturday.

Great house, Great Location

Pros: Location - right on the bay, with a private path to the water - this is really the selling point of this house. Beautiful views of the water, sunset, ferry, etc. Huge house - tons of space, 2 family rooms, large bedrooms (almost all with attached bathrooms) Good amenities - nice grill, extra freezer, well-equipped kitchen, nice outdoor seating, outdoor shower Lovely community with beautiful pool Clean Cons: The lights are very difficult to figure out - there are numerous light switches for each room, making it confusing and annoying. The central air was broken when we were there - this is obviously not the fault of the owner and we knew about this (and there were ACs in most rooms), but it was not as cool as we would have liked and also quite noisy. Although the house is huge, it could use some improvements in terms of room layout/furniture - bunk beds in the kids' room downstairs, a nice comfy sectional in the second family room, a lock on the bathroom door on the second floor, and a more functional kitchen table that could seat more than 4 people. Overall: We had a really nice time and I would stay here again.

Beautiful home, beautiful view

Our family absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous home. It’s a beautiful space and the view can’t be beat! Carl and his team were easy to work with and quick to respond to any small issues. I would just pass on to any families that are looking at this property because they have someone in their group with disabilities, the elevator is not guaranteed and the pathway to the beach is difficult to access if you have mobility issues. The elevator doors can break easily (let them close on their own, do not force them!). The path to the beach is a steep hill over the dune through a narrow opening in the greenery. There are more ways to access the beach, but a short walk to get there. Two of our party could not traverse the path behind the house because of their mobility issues. Zero fault of the rental group - just something we wanted to pass on to others! Otherwise our stay was perfect, we’d love to come back.

We had the BEST time staying here! The views from the deck were amazing and we loved being able to walk right from the house out to the beach. What a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us. We would LOVE to be able to rent the same week next year!

Castle on the sand

We loved the property, the location was absolutely perfect! We were close enough to bike many places and to get to many restaurants. The beach was perfect for the kids and there was always something to watch between the ferry coming in and out and many many sailboats. Perfect trip for me and my kids and grands. Def will book again

Beautiful Property Even Better Location

The views from the deck are incredible. It is a perfect spot for morning breakfast or sunset over the bay. The living area is very comfortable with a great kitchen. The additional living room is great for kids. Three of the bedrooms are perfect for couples with the other 3 great for younger folks. Would recommend this property to anyone interested. Only negative was the hot tub was not ready when we arrived. We worked with the rental agency to correct but it took a few days. The fault seems to be with an owner poorly communicating with the rental agency.
