A beautiful and quiet getaway. We came down for a wedding in Ogallala so this home was the perfect place to enjoy being near the water and winding down from all of the festivities. Very clean and peaceful, and our hosts were welcoming and communicative. We would love to stay here again.

The biggest plus for this property is its proximity to Lake McConaughy. For that reason, it suited our needs well.

It was perfect for our family of 4 to stay here for a week! Has a washer/dryer. Everything you need! Only thing I think it could use is a traditional broom to sweep (there is a vacuum) just to clean up sand that is inevitable there. Overall we’d love to stay again and hopefully will!

There was some sort of mix up at check in and the place was not ready but the host made it right by letting us checkout later. The space is a little cramped to sleep 8. There were 2 full beds, 1 queen bed and air mattress. Overall the place worked out great for what we needed and the host was very accommodating with the late check in.

Nice spot for girls weekend

Four of us enjoyed our time in the cabin. Walkable to the lake seems like a bit of a stretch, but we enjoyed the lake and our time there.

This is our 4th time staying here. It’s a great little place for the non beach camping family members. Thanks again for having us.

Just right

The cabin was well stocked with all the things that we needed for our stay. It was nice that everyone had their own rooms and the outdoor patio was great. Thanks for a nice getaway.

July Stay

Great place overall. We weren't as close to the beach as we had thought, but the water is really low right now. Easy drive to get to the beach.

Where’s the lake?

We loved our little get away and this home suited our needs! Lake McConaughy is VERY low and the closest boat ramp was at the damn about 20 minutes away! We’d stay here again.

Perfect for a small family

The accommodations were nice. Perfect for a beach place. I wish there was a washer and dryer, but otherwise it was a good fit for us. A nice patio and kitchen and a good size bathroom.
