Great holidays home

It is magical home in a magical place. It can't be more welcoming. The house is full of light . I live the kitchen and the living room with amazing views towards the sea and the saumon fishers.I have love the time sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying the peace and the warmth atmosphere. I have love playing the piano and cooking in the big kitchen.The bedrooms upstairs are big and very comfortable.Eileen has been very nice to us.She has answered all our questions.Hope to come back again soon.

Haus in traumhafter Lage

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Haus beinhaltet alles was man benötigt. Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach unschlagbar. Man kann bis nach Roundstone rüber schauen und hat eine tolle Aussicht auf die 12 Bens. Das Check in war etwas abenteuerlich, da Eileen nicht auf vorherige Nachrichten, sowie nicht auf Anrufe reagiert hat. Dennoch war sie ab 16 Uhr an ihrem Haus, welches direkt nebenan liegt anzutreffen. Wir haben Eileen als netten und hilfsbereiten Menschen kennengelernt. Wer Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe mag, wird an diesem Haus voll auf seine Kosten kommen.

Beautiful house on the water

We stayed a week in this beautiful place. The house is well equipped, no need to bring anything. Eileen has maps and guidebooks ready as well as her own knowledge of the area to share . The views from the many windows were wonderful.

Spectacular

If stunning views, trail walking and a peaceful paradise are what you are looking for this it. Excellent place to breathe deep and decompress while still visiting whatever sites you may want too. We lacked for nothing during our stay, extremely well equipped and Eileen provided great details to make our stay even better than expected.

Super !

La propriétaire, Eileen, est très accueillante, simple, serviable...séjour super dépaysant, reposant. La maison est très bien située, confortable avec tout le nécessaire. Tous les coins emblématiques du Connemara sont accessibles facilement, même si il faut faire un peu de route, les paysages sont tellement beaux que cela n'est pas un problème. N'hésitez pas, futurs voyageurs, à louer chez Eileen !!!

Nice holiday days in Connemara

We spent a few nights as a family in Eileen's cosy holiday home. Eileen was very easy to reach and welcomed us warmly. The cottage is richly equipped with everything you need. The location is great for various excursions in Connemara and County Galway. We would book the holiday home again at any time if we are in the area.

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the west coast of Ireland

After our pervious week in 2022, we were delighted to return to Eileen's rental house. We were warmly welcomed, and then left to settle in. We appreciated Eileen contacting her "fish man" who came by and we purchased fresh scallops, hake and a fish new to us. We enjoyed the remoteness and the comfort of the house, settling in the big chairs to read and watch the changing views of the bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

Grandiose Lage

Die Lage direkt an einer Bucht des Atlantik könnte gar nicht besser sein. Vom Wohnzimmer aus konnten wir den Blick auch bei typisch irischen Regenwetter genießen.

Wonderful stay in Connemara

The house is located in a beautiful surrounding, offering gorgeous views of the sea and the Twelve Bens. The house offers everything you need, especially the kitchen is well equipped with spices, pasta, rice.. Don't miss a walk astarting at the Moyrus Cemetrery. It is absolutely amazing. Nearby there is an "honesty box", offering muffins, home made jam, bread, scones. Your bakery for the stay! We can definitely recommend Eilleen's house.

Western hideaway

Views to die for! They bring me back year after year. There is space and comfort in this house. I like the isolation but you need to know that you have to drive to a shop or restaurant. I do miss the access to the garden and sea, now a bit overgrown.

Was great again! 3rd time highly recommended

This was our 3rd stay in the house. Lucky that the time was free sadly only 1 week. Everything was great and fully equipped. We could relax and enjoy the great view. Eileen is a great host. Will try to come again if there is a free spot in the calendar.

Wonderful Holidays in Connemara!

We spent around 10 days in Aileens House und discovered Connemara and the west coast of Ireland. We can recommend trips to the sky road, galway, Clifden, the cliffs of moher, kylemore abbey or Diamond hill. On the other hand a day relaxing in the House is just beautiful. Theres everything in the House you Need, especially in the Kitchen. The View from almost every room is breathtaking. Its the perfect Place for a Holiday in Ireland. Aileen as a Host was very lovely and welcomed us at arrival und said goodbye, when we Drove back to the Airport. Sehr answered all our questions and helped us as she could. The cards and flyers in the House were very useful too. All in all: Everything was Perfect, thank you for the Nice Holiday!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Schönes abgelegenes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Meerblick - leider kein Zugang zum Meer möglich. Das Haus beinhaltet aber alles was man braucht . Von hier aus haben wir unsere Ausflugsziele alle in ca. 30-40 Minuten gut erreichen können, daher perfekt zentral gelegen. Viele sehr schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Die Vermieterin ist manchmal etwas verwirrt, es hat aber trotzdem alles super funktioniert. Leider kein WIFI, das Netz ist aber gut genug um mit seinen Daten online gehen zu können. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Letterard cottage

Entre mer, montagne et landes, nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce cottage spacieux, joliment décoré avec les tableaux de notre hôtesse. Un endroit serein, apaisant et une maison d’une grande propreté. Nous avons de plus bénéficié d’un grand soleil tout au long de notre séjour. Eillen, nous reviendrons !

Wunderbares Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in einem wunderbar gemütlichen und wirklich großartig gelegenen Haus direkt an der Meeresbucht. Die Einrichtung war tip-top, die Besitzerin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt mehr als genug Platz, weil das Cottage sehr geräumig ist. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der Blick über die Bucht und auf die Berge ist einfach großartig! Es gibt im Haus auch einige Wanderführer, und Eileen berät auch gerne bei Touren. Wir können dieses Cottage wirklich nur empfehlen!
