"Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. "

"Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. "The area and the cabin were outstanding . We go to Augusta frequently but never stayed at an VRBO. Unfortunately there was no hot water and the bathroom sink drained very slowly . Other than that we really enjoyed this cabin ! It was affordable and very quaint .Nice and quiet and easy in and out and walkable sights close by . Would stay again !! "

"Theresa was AMAZING from the start and so accommodating. I was traveling to Purina Farms for a dog show, so this being a dog friendly place to stay was necessary. She had no issues answering my questions and had extra blankets, dog amenities, etc. throughout the house. "The host canceled our stay due to loss of heating. Unfortunately, she sent an email at midnight the night before our stay. I did not see the email and our whole family converged on the rental and were told it was unavailable. While I understand the need to cancel the reservation, I think a phone call would have been a better choice of notification. We were left trying to scramble for other accommodations for our family celebration at 4:00 pm on a Saturday."
