Bungalow ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Pool sehr sauber. Bäcker, Metzger, Strand gut mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Trotz nicht so guten Wetter haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen

Een ruim en luxe vakantiewoning met als toppers het zwembad en de pingpongtafel. De rolluiken houden het huis heerlijk koel en donker in de ochtend. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien.

A sub-tropical haven

Beautiful spacious open plan layout with attractive and importantly comfortable furniture & beds. Everything was supplied to ensure a trouble free start without the need to dash to the supermarket after a long drive from the UK. The garden is on 3 tiers, well planted with palms & French oaks. Very private, almost surrounded be forest, with a lovely pool & ideal to get that all over tan. WiFi, TV and all the extensive appliances worked well. Lovely Sea food restaurants very close with sea views, plus gorgeous beaches with shaded free parking in the strip of Forrest between the coast road & the Atlantic’s golden beaches. The house keeper Sylvie was extremely friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with in English and French. Eke, who owns the property ensured everything was ready for our arrival and also a brilliant communicator. We have stayed in some lovely places over the years, but this is one of the best especially if you like contemporary open plan living in comfort with so much on the doorstep. Excellent return visit

This was our 2nd stay at this property, and we were pleased to find the high standards we experienced last time remain. The property has been well maintained and there were even improvements from our last visit, for example the addition of a freezer. As we have now experienced the property in both hot and cool weather, we can confirm it is well suited to both. The pool is set to an ideal temperature, and the electric shutters help deal with sun and stormy weather. Once again I will mention the ideal location for this property, it is on a quiet street within easy walking or cycling distance of local towns and shops, and an easy drive to places such as Royan, Rochefort, La Rochelle and the islands. Special mention to the host and Sylvie for excellent communication and flexibility regarding arrival and departure times.

Amazing villa

Beautiful villa in a fantastic area. Even nicer than the photos portray. Everything is very modern and the pool is simply stunning. Sylvie was very welcoming and responded promptly to the few questions we had. Bike hire locally was great and there are lots of safe cycle routes all over

Traumhaus

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal in diesem Haus und wir waren wieder total begeistert. Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und wird offensichtlich auch regelmäßig renoviert. Das Grundstück ist nicht einsehbar. Der Pool ist einfach wunderbar. Hier kann man einen ungestörten Urlaub verbringen.

Amazing property!

We really enjoyed our 10 night stay in this property. The house is beautiful, modern and spacious and very well maintained both inside and outside. The swimming pool is larger than it looks in the photos and it is perfectly shaded from the sun which was ideal as we stayed during a heatwave. The property also has electric rolling shutters on the windows which also did a good job keeping the heat out. Other positives include: fast internet connection, TV, modern kitchen, premium and comfortable furniture and secure front gate. Communication was great, and check in/out were well organised. All necessary information was provided at check in and also in a folder of documents. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the location is excellent for visiting local towns and attractions.

Absolutely amazing!!

Property was stunning and so was the pool, would even say the photos don't do it justice. House was lovely and clean and very well equipped. The garden was private and relaxing with lots of plants and some trees for shade. Perfect house in perfect location.

Traumhafter Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus mit eigenem Pool!! Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an wohl gefühlt! Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin und der Dame vor Ort war hervorragend! Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und mit dem Fahrrad, Auto oder zu Fuß sind Les Mathes und La Palmyre gut zu erreichen. Die traumhaften Strände sind mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man for einen wunderschönen Urlaub benötigt! Der Garten ist mit seinen verschiedenen Terrassen riesig und nicht einsehbar! Alles wunderbar!! Dankeschön!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes Haus für einen gelungenen Urlaub

Wir haben Anfang Juli Urlaub in Les Mathes gemacht und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Schon im Vorfeld erhielten wir von Eke alle erforderlichen Infos zum Haus und wurden bei Ankunft von der Haushälterin Silvie sehr freundlich und lieb begrüßt. Die Einweisung von Silvie war perfekt. Danke! Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, man kommt aber schnell in den Ort. Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Fahrradverleih. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll. Highlight ist natürlich der Pool. Der Garten ist nicht einsehbar. Im Ort gibt es viele Annehmlichkeiten ( auch für Jugendliche) und die Strände sind gut zu erreichen. Als nette Ausflüge bieten sich in jedem Fall die Ile de Re und die Ile de Oleron an. Wir hatten einen rundherum unkomplizierten, erholsamen und schönen Urlaub.

Unser perfekter Urlaub

Das Haus und der Garten waren noch schöner, als es auf den Bildern rüber kam. Der Pool wurde den ganzen Tag genutzt und war das Highlight der Kinder. Besonders genossen haben wir die Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Sylvie hat uns herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation mit ihr und Eke war zu jeder Zeit reibungslos und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank! Fabulous Property

Beautiful modern property, set in a fabulous location! Almost everything you could need for your stay has been thought about, the small extra touches are so welcome (like the kitchen foil, cling film, black bags, kitchen roll) all so helpful. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. It is a short drive to the town and beaches, well positioned for a relaxing holiday! As previously mentioned a freezer compartment would have been helpful for ice, ice cream and cool blocks, and you do need to take your own towels, but not the a problem as long as you know. We had a wonderful holiday! Brilliant thank you!

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Tolles Haus, wunderbares Grundstück! Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub. Vor allem den fantastischen Pool haben wir sehr genossen. Tolle Strände in der Nähe (wir waren meist am Plage de la Pointe Espagnole, da es dort weniger touristisch war), La Rochelle und Île d‘Oléron sind absolut empfehlenswerte Ausfüge. Ein Eisfach im Kühlschrank war leider nicht vorhanden. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es lediglich in einem der drei Schlafzimmer, weil man dort das Fenster nicht öffnen kann. Wir haben das aber durch nächtliches Lüften in den anderen Räumen gut ausgleichen können.
