*Mountain Views* Completed in 2004, comfortable rustic chalet on 3 levels, mezzanine on the 1st floor, a double height ceiling in the living area, converted basement (great for kids to hang out), it feels spacious and homely! 2 bedrooms, 1 open mezzanine / living-dining room with log fire, kitchen and boot room. Located in a residential area of Les Houches, a short 5 min walk to the Super U supermarket and bus stop. 5 min drive from the local ski lifts, and 10 mins from Chamonix. *Views*
(GROUP SIZE: recommended group size is 1 family, 2 small close families, 2 couples or a small group of friends. ACCOMMODATION
The property is part of a large chalet building split into two, known locally as a demi-chalet. The aspects of the exterior in the photo's is our part of the building, and offers private access & parking.
The accommodation is split over 3 floors and detailed below;
GROUND FLOOR:
Living Room with a double hight ceiling, open LOG FIRE & dining area.
Kitchen with eating area.
Utility / Boot Room
FIRST FLOOR:
2 Double (King) Bedrooms, one with a balcony.
Mezzanine (open) with single sofa bed.
Bathroom with Bath & over bath Shower.
THE DEN:
Living Room (kids hangout) with 2 sofas. (secondary natural light)

A beautiful chalet with a fabulous view of Mont Blanc.
A wonderful experience. The owners have thought of everything and the chalet was very comfortable and warm. Lovely ski resort in Les Houches and so easy to get to Chamonix.

Brilliant
We loved our skiing holiday at Les Houches, everything was brilliant, the chalet, the ski hire shop, the ski lessons, the slopes, the sunshine, the snow, the views. The chalet was the perfect home from home with everything we and the children needed

Chalet en très bon état bien équipé
Nous avons aimé ce chalet car il était bien équipé, facile à trouver et les propriétaires sont disponibles. Nous étions deux familles avec deux enfants et un bébé. Il y a de la place. La literie est confortable. Je conseille fortement. Les Houches se situent à côté de Chamonix donc toutes les activités sont à côté.

Fantastically located chalet
Lovely property with amazing views. Well equipped and homely. Probably depends what you are looking for but for us it was a great location, close to chamonix and enabling us to visit other places such as Annecy. Would recommend it to someone else wanting to enjoy the scenery and take the opportunity to go up Mont Blanc.

Home from Home
This property is an absolute delight, this was our 3rd year here so it must be good, We stay in the summer and the kitchen is on the shady side of the house and I find this ideal when cooking , there are all the utensils and equipment you could wish for and a small kitchen table where family can sit and chat while food is being prepared , the dinning table in the lounge would easily sit 6 adults possibly 8 a couple of sofas and a log fire which we have never used finish off the living area to a comfy living area, beds are clean and comfy too bathroom upstairs and shower room/toilet down stairs are great for larger parties. The Den underground although it has no windows is lovely and cool in the summer and i would guess if you had children they would love it, but for us it gives us more room to spread out and store suitcases etc although there is plenty of space for everything in the bedrooms and on the landing also plenty of space in utility fro boots. The garden is peaceful with gorgeous views of the mountains and although there are no fixed boundaries neighbours are not a problem in fact I love seeing what they are all growing, The location is ideal just far enough up the hill to be away from the main road ( very quiet main road ) but easy walk to Super U and the bus stop to catch the Free bus ( this is an excellent service) into Chamonix and slightly further afield , easy evening stroll to local restaurants. I or anyone else in our family group would struggle to suggest any changes to this chalet we love it, see you next year xx

Second stay. We had a few problems of our creation such as lost keys etc - Karen couldn't have been more helpful. A lovely chalet, warm, spacious, well stocked kitchen, good location. Thank you, again.

Great location with a beautiful view and a comfortable place to stay
The chalet is in a great location for easy access to the mountains - just a walk up the road and you are there. It's also an easy walk to town, the grocery store and the bus route. We found the chalet to be clean (though not spotless), comfortable and cozy for 6 adults although the kitchen challenged us a little due to limited counter space for meal preparation. A minor problem was the lack of some kitchen utensils for cooking. A few more storage containers would have helped with storing leftovers. The owner was flexible, accomodating and easy to communicate with via email prior to our stay. Overall, a great place and definitely worth the price we paid.

Fantastic Chalet in a fantastic location!
We have recently returned from an enjoyable and fun, summer family holiday in the French Chalet, Les Houches, Chamonix Mont Blanc. As advertised, the chalet is located at the base of Mont Blanc and the views from the bedroom balcony and garden are spectacular! The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable and the local neighbours were very friendly too. We were well informed at all stages of the booking and communications were excellent throughout. We would happily return to the Chalet in the future and would highly recommend! Thank you Dawn.

Très bel intérieur de chalet, nous étions bien installé.
La situation du chalet est génial, non loin des magasins et boulangeries. Nous avons passé un beau séjour, juste quelques petits désagréments : des vis à vis trop proches, une voisine peu agréable dans le chalet mitoyen à côté .

Great Chalet to stay at for our ski holiday
The Chalet was clean, warm and very comfortable with plenty of room for our party of five. There was everything you needed in the kitchen, lounge and bedrooms and with two showers made it easy for us getting ready to head out. Couldn't of asked for more this really is a gem of a find for any type of holiday stay.

Lovely cosy chalet. Great location owner very helpful and quick to reply.
We love Les Houches. Even though the snow wasn't great the skiing was excellent! The chalet was clean cosy and well equipped. Would definitely use again. Thank you Dawn!

A great property, in a great location with all of the facilities you require
We had a great Christmas with plenty of skiing despite some poor snow in the local valley; very cold and lovely blue skis but now fresh snow! The property is excellent and has all that one requires for a comfortable stay. We will certainly book again - once the snow arrives. The local village is excellent.
