Lovely chalet in great condition. Beds were super comfortable and the chalet was well equipped.Location is awesome, walkable to the lifts but also a couple of minutes to the free bus. Hosts were welcoming and very friendly. Very happy with our stay and would definitely return.

The most perfect Chalet for a friends trip of a lifetime...

Where do I start?! The Chalet is perfect for 8 adults - plenty of space, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen that was well appointed for the evenings we decided to cook in, and a nice cozy basement living/family room with comfy couches for lounging. There is a dedicated ski room with boot dryers and ski racks with tile floor so you can come in and out from your days on the slopes without making a mess! The beds were comfortable, and the washer & dryer made freshening up towels and clothes a breeze. The chalet is situated further from La Chaudanne (the main base area in Meribel) but is a 5-7 minute walk in ski boots (definitely uphill, but a good warmup to your ski day!) to a free shuttle (Line A) that runs every 15 minutes in the mornings & evenings and every 30 minutes midday and later at night. This made getting to the base area so easy every day.The hosts provide plenty of resort maps, which were so helpful in planning our days. Les 3 Valleés is obviously massive, but traversing the mountain takes quite a bit of planning if you've never been!Jean Noël personally greeted us at the Chalet upon our arrival, and walked us through the home and made himself available if we needed anything during our week's stay. You're a 5-minute walk to the SPAR grocery store, which has everything you'll need for your stay (we needed to buy handsoap, toilet paper/paper towels, etc) and is not overly expensive.Cannot say enough great things about this property and would love to return!!

Great option for 3 Valleys Ski Trip

Wanted to try the 3 Valleys for our first ski trip to France and found this chalet on Vrbo for a March trip. We arrived Sunday, skied Monday to Friday, and left Saturday.Choosing where to stay in 3 Valleys was tricky, but I'd recommend Meribel—it's centrally located between Val Thorens and Courchevel, making day trips easy. I initially considered VT for its altitude but was glad we chose Meribel, as VT felt more crowded.The chalet is a 4-min walk to a free bus (5-min ride to Chaudanne lifts) or 20-min walk. There are après-ski bars & restaurants nearby. The ski room is handy, though Intersport (where we rented) doesn’t allow overnight storage—ask the hosts about another ski shop that does.A big Spar supermarket is a 5-min walk, with a butcher, plus another shop nearby—handy for self-catering.The chalet exceeded expectations! We were one couple three individuals (no kids), and all rooms had double beds. The downstairs bedroom was the nicest with a living area, while the top room had more space also but only had a bath but only a handheld shower head for washing (still fine). The middle rooms were good with ensuite showers, though beds here were a bit short for tall people (if sleep straight). Beds in general were very comfy. The outdoor jacuzzi was perfect after skiing!The hosts were amazing—when our airline lost our bags, they retrieved them for us while we were skiing. Super responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

First time in Meribel

Great chalet, perfect for 2 families of 4. Wonderful location, 15 min walk to the main town, or 3 min walk to the bus stop.No need to take the car to go to the slopes.Close to the SPAR, walking or by bus. The host was very friendly and explain us how to move around, which areas to visit depending on your expertise or even if you were not skiing, he explained the hikes in the area.

Comfortable and convenient

It was wonderful being a short bus ride or 10 minute walk from the village. Several nights we stayed in and cooked, while other evenings we dined out at a variety of excellent restaurants. The house was comfortable and cozy for our family and we enjoyed our stay. The owners assisted us without questions promptly.

Perfect location, perfect chalet, perfect hosts

We stayed in this lovely chalet for a week of ski break. Catherine and Jean Noel were incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating. The home was perfect for our two families. It was an easy, 3 minute walk to the grocery store. We walked each each day to the slopes at Chaudanne (though we could have taken the two minute bus ride). The kitchen was fully stocked for us to enjoy meals at home. I absolutely recommend this place for a family or two.

Great facilities and very friendly hosts

The layout of the chalet was brilliant- all rooms with own bathroom, and everything felt very private. The facilities were great- loved the boot room and hot tub- and it felt luxurious and very well kept. There was plenty of space to hang out as a group or separately. Transport in to town is easy, as is the walk if you choose. Communication with Catherine and Jean was easy and a pleasure. Highly recommended.

A week in the 3 Valleys

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We received a warm welcome when we arrived which made the check-in process very smooth, and Catherine was an awesome communicator and made sure all our needs were met prior to our arrival. We were given the most thorough run down of the property which had all the amenities we could need, including a very useful dry room with boot warmers and heating, hot tub, laundry room and living room with enough games and entertainment for our family of 7. We were also provided plenty of ski maps, brochures on events for the upcoming week, and useful tips and advice listed in helpful documents and folders. The property itself was very large and is exactly as seen in photos, providing a very comfortable week-long stay. They did an excellent job in upkeep of the property; everything was clean and well laid out. As for location, we couldn't have asked for a better spot. It was very easy to get to and located just off the main road, making it a very easy short walk (no steep hills) into the town centre where the supermarket, shops and restaurants were. If you aren't up for the walk, there is a very convenient free shuttle located a few minutes walk from the house, which takes you right to the chairlifts for skiing and comes regularly. Overall, lovely and memorable stay attributed to Catherine and Jean Noel clearly valuing their clients. We will definitely return one day, as it was well worth the long journey from Australia.

wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Noel und Catherine sind sehr nett und haben sich vor und während unseres Aufenthalts super um uns gekümmert. Auch ein früherer Check-In als angegeben war problemlos möglich :) Das Skigebiet ist ebenfalls traumhaft und mit dem Skibus von der Unterkunft gut zu erreichen. Wir freuen uns wieder zu kommen!

Well run and great hosts

The info on the site is very detailed and it’s really helpful to be able to check the location and property layout . The owners are charming , caring and responsive and knowledgeable and give great advice on food and skiing. The chalet quality is excellent and is exactly as you see on the site.Boot room is great and easy usage. Tub same excellent quality. Nearby Spar is great for everything. Food at CEP worth a try, easy free bus , and we had great steaks at Barometer. Jacks bar was actually ok too for burgers and a Pizza. We had a few good mountain lunches so much so we appreciated the Tapas bar Cantina. Great cocktails, chill vibe and best house red in a long while. As an aside we used Pacifique Transport , French and speak good English, from Meribel who were great and recommended by the chalet owners.
