The cabin and property were immaculate. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need and more. They’ve done a nice job designing the cabin for the property. On the one side Highway 321 is a bit noisy, but the living and deck areas face a spectacular view of the valley below the actual Blowing Rock on the other side. It’s super close to town and very convenient for travel, hiking, etc.

We really liked the cabin for it's easy access to downtown Blowing Rock and the stunning views from the back deck. The host was extremely communicative and very helpful. House in like-new condition and very clean with great amenities (large deck, nice grill, fire pit, smart tv, modern kitchen, etc.). The main negative here is the location near a busy highway; you hear a lot of traffic all day long and even late at night as tractor trailer trucks use the road and have to brake for the hills. Very small yard space for kids. If you can live with the traffic noise the views are certainly stunning and the cabin itself is very cute. But we were hoping for something more quiet and relaxing.

This property does NOT disappoint. I have a high standard for cleanliness and this property exceeded my expectations. And, the view of the autumn foliage is outstanding. Super convenient to both Blowing Rock and Boone. Wonderful hikes in close proximity. Could not be more satisfied!!

The location of the cabin was wonderful for spending time in the Blowing Rock, Boone, Blue Ridge Parkway areas. Was just as picture online and very well appointed. Mountain view was very relaxing. Highly recommend and hope to return :)

Lisa : The cabin was like staying at a Mini Resort. It had everything we needed for our stay. Furnishing are top of the line. If you are looking for some place to eat go to the Foggy Rock for Dinner and the Sunny Rock for Breakfast.

We were so pleasantly surprised with this vacation rental! First of all, I think this was the most CLEAN home we’ve ever rented. It smelled amazing upon entry and everything was immaculate. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes to the grocery store and beautiful downtown Blowing Rock. My boys (age 1 and 3) thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces, both the wrap around porch and the fire pit area, and we spent a significant amount of time outdoors. My husband was pleasantly surprised by the Wilmington grill on the porch — so nice having a high end grill instead of the usual cheap ones that burn everything they touch ;-) Regarding the reviews that mention road noise, there is noise from nearby 321 (the house sits high on a ridge above the highway) but we never found it to be disruptive. The long range mountain views from the fire pit and porch, and proximity to local attractions, far outweigh the occasional passing truck. I’ve already recommended this home to multiple friends and definitely plan to return!

The property was cleaner than any other rental we have stayed in. We came prepared with extra paper products and cleaning products. The property was perfectly cleaned and ready to enjoy so leave your extras at home. The views are amazing and so relaxing. This property was well thought out. The lay out of the cabin, the design and the decoration are luxurious. The kitchen has all the necessities even for an amateur chef and the grill was beyond top of the line. We enjoyed every second we spent at the property. The girls explored around and found sticks to roast marshmallows while parents enjoyed the views and the fire pit. We can’t wait to stay at your cabin again.

Perfect cabin for our family ... including two young children and two dogs. Not too big and not too small with everything needed to be comfortable as well as an amazing view to watch the sunrise each day. Located conveniently to many family activities making drive times minimal. Had a great time and will certainly look to come back when possible!

The property location is awesome! My wife and I stayed for a week and if we had not left the house we wouldn’t have seen a single person all week. So close to town yet on complete privacy. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking to be in mountain seclusion and still have all the amenities of town at hand.
