Great stay, with ample amenities and a breathtaking view. Do take their communication on needing an AWD car seriously, but if you're well prepared and take your time the mountainous drive to this home is well worth it!

This place was great. We have a big family and it was plenty of room for all of us. The views are awesome. The house is great. We will definitely be booking this place again. The location to everything is perfect. You feel secluded when you’re there but it’s only a short drive to Blowing Rock.

Angel's Envy is well-appointed, clean, and great for families. The views are unbeatable, and the hot tub was an awesome perk. It was a perfect spot for three generations to celebrate a milestone birthday.

Great spot

Loved the location, it was convenient to Blowing Rock. Layout was great, we really enjoyed the ping pong table and the jacuzzi. Setup is great for a large family, and the views are amazing!

Great Views, tons of space! The basement game room level and fireplace were not usable.

The cabin is really beautiful, lots of space and amenities. You cannot have a better location once you get from from the mountain, it’s minutes from Blowing Rock and Boone. The drive off the main road is an AWD SUV must (this was middle of summer) with the road up being very narrow (one car only), switching from paved to extremely rugged dirt/gravel road and extremely steep, as well as tight switch backs for about 10 minutes. The owners are very clear about this in the listing, it not for the faint of heart but truly worth it at the end. The only issues we had were that the garbage from the previous renter was piled up in the laundry room making the bottom level with 2 extra bedrooms, the ping pong table, deck to the hot tub, and game room pretty unusable due to the overwhelming smell. I reached out to owners and Blue Mountain the texts received and contact on VRBO (via text and email) and did not get a response. We were there for 5 days and at 10am of our departure someone finally did pick up the garbage from previous renters but we were already on our way. It does get chilly at night and the fireplace did not work- once again no response on this either. There was only 4 of us so the main level and loft worked just fine- the layout, kitchen, and views are just fantastic. I would say overall very nice experience but for $400+ a night get rid of the garbage and smell, have a working fireplace, but otherwise a great luxury cabin!

Great home

I stayed here for an extended weekend for my daughter’s college graduation. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. The location was convenient because it was a short drive to Blowing Rock and Boone. The driveway leading up to the home is a typical mountain type road and is manageable as long as you take your time but AWD/4WD vehicle should be used. There really was nothing negative about my experience and will definitely visit here again.

Beautiful views, great for our ski group!

This property is terrific. The hot tub was ready to go upon arrival. Views are magical. The host is responsive to communication. Our group wanted access to local ski mountains. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare family meals. The ride up to the house on the winding road is part of the allure and seclusion. And the cozy blankets are a great added touch.

Beautiful house and view!

We had a great time! The house was absolutely beautiful. It felt like home with lots of cozy blankets and a really well stocked kitchen. The view was amazing as well! The drive into the property was not super easy, but we all had 4 wheel drive and had no issues. We loved this property and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Worth the View

The drive up is definitely steep if you’ve never driven in the mountains before but the view is amazing. This house is perfect for someone wanting the Mountain Views and doesn’t want to venture out much. We left one day and explored and then stayed in the next day and it was a perfect mini getaway.

Minutes from Blowing Rock with fantastic Mountain View. Plenty to do nearby or at home (hot tub, games and table tennis) and lovely kitchen for cooking in. Our family and our friends had a great time at your home!

Great for families - beautiful views!

This was great for our family with young kids as we spend a lot of our vacation time at the house. Very comfy and spacious, kids loved the loft and lower level to play in, lots of room for everyone to spread out and sleep. Property is close to downtown Blowing Rock and very easy to get to and from Boone or hikes along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The view is incredible and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch for sunsets each night. Property managers were available via phone, text, and email which was appreciated.

Beautiful

Property is well maintained and cleaned well prior to arrival. Beautiful view and cozy cabin. Only recommendation would be to encourage better quality and variety of pillows to sleep— every adult member (7 adults) in our party complained about poor nights sleep because of the pillows. Also, listing is not quite accurate and when info was requested from the management team, they also provided incorrect information— there IS a gas grill on the deck. For the wii system— recommend bringing your own batteries or the controllers won’t work! Only 2/4 controllers had batteries.

Great Family Vacay

This property was great! It’s big and cozy. Plenty of space for everyone. It even has a loft I used as an office. Great amenities, Keurig, ApplaWatch chargers, ping pong table, games, hot tub, washer/dryer, to name a few. The view is amazing!!!! The view the view the view!!! All the generations loved it, grandparents, parents, teens and kid. Highly recommend this property. Will come back!

Great weekend for couples or a big family. The place was very well equipped for cooking. Nice to go out as well. It was just remote enough to feel like you were private. However close to Blowing Rock. Highly recommend eating at the Best Cellar Restaurant in Blowing Rock.

Views for days

Angels Envy has some of the best mountain views with incredible sunsets. The driveway was steep as described but totally manageable. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for our party of 10. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.
