"We stayed here in early April - 6 adults, the Villa is amazing as are the views and Michelle the owner cannot do enough for you, he even has some home made wine in the cellar for 5 euros which would give most £30 bottles a run for its money. The location is slightly rural, and you will require a car to explore, however most major places around the lake are no more than 1 hours drive, with most being much closer, great for scenic walks. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will return some...

"Plenty of room for everyone and stunning views of Lake Como! We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a day of exploring Varenna and Menaggio. Comfortable beds, and Cinzia was a delight to work with! She provided restaurant recommendations and reservations for us. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! "We spent a few days in Barni. Elisabetta welcomed us on the first day and showed us around. During our stay she maked sure, we feel safe and asked if everything is fine. The house was clean and spacious, also the garden, which has a pool, a nice BBQ area and lot of toys for the children. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also enough parking space for 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay very much. Elisabeta is a very nice and kind host."

"Upon arrival, we were greeted to dirty dishes, smelly refrigerator, someone’s laundry in the washer/dryer as well as a lack of cleaning of the property and a number of broken items. Contacted the management company who asked for us to send pictures which we did and they subsequently sent cleaners over who did the bare minimum as they only vacuumed the main floor, not the other floors. "Clean. Spacious. 10 minutes to Bellagio. Guiseppe and his lovely wife were so kind and accommodating!! The home is lovely, dive right into the lake. The bedroom balcony opens with French doors to the breathtaking beauty of the mountains framing the lake 😱"
