  • Lake front views visible from everywhere but the driveway. Direct access to the quiet end of Rough River with Holiday Rough boat ramp in the neighborhood. New build with new everything ready for you and the whole crew to enjoy.

    The amenities are never ending with this house.

    First floor features:
    Kitchen- Convection Oven with Air Fry mode, George Foreman grill, dishwasher, microwave, service for at least 8 and bar seating for 2.
    Living- Big sectional, ottoman filled with DVDs and games, smart TV, electric fireplace
    Master Bedroom with en suite walk in shower with double shower head for ultimate comfort

    Second Floor
    Guest bedrooms are identical with a queen sized bed with pull out twin trundle beds.
    Full bathroom with double vanity and shower/tub combo

    Bring your fishing poles. Bring your swim gear. Come enjoy Rough River.
    PLEASE NOTE: Rough River has summer and winter pool. The house is located downstream and summer pool doesn't start until April 1st. Water levels are rain dependent there after.

    Dogs are welcome as long as they are under 50 pounds, are house trained, and are NOT allowed on any of the furniture.

    Please note, the docks are private property and not to be used by guests.
    Please note, there are 3 security cameras on the lot:

    *at the path to the river

Very quite and relaxing place to be at. There were towels and extra beds under the upstairs bed that was very helpful. The balcony was a little dusty but nothing bad and is acceptable given the trees close by. The nearby lake/river was not as great condition as I thought given the rough pavements around it and kinda felt unkept.

Great location. My only issue was the amount of spider webs inside and outside of the house. You couldn't use the back porch seating area because it was so dirty and spider webs everywhere.

The house was cute, beds were comfortable, loved the nice new bathrooms! Cozy living room, kitchen was nicely layout and had most of the things you would need to prepare a meal. Only a few negatives, one the river behind the house was extremely low due to the damn that was being repaired. We picked this house for the water excess for fishing. We still managed to fish but in a water source that was more like a creek than a Rough River. The other downside was the distance to the cave was a lot further than we anticipated. But all in all we still had a great time and would love to come back when the damn is fixed. It’s a beautiful area.

perfect quiet get away

the house was very clean and cozy.the location was great in a quiet neighborhood.we enjoyed the river being so close for fishing and relaxing.the view from the deck was perfect.we are very much looking forward to going back.

This is a really nice home on a beautiful piece of property. The large deck is a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy the view. The living area gave the kids plenty of space to play. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our granddaughter is already asking to go back!

Wonderful views of nature from the deck, screened-in porch, and all the rooms of the house, really, especially from the living room with its big windows. There's a nice walking trail going down to the water. The house was very nice with contemporary touches such as an electric fireplace, dual shower, and live-edge wood furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. I recommend this place and would stay here again.

Nice house on a quiet piece of land, but the host forgot to mention that there is no river in March. I knew the Army Corps drains some lakes and rivers in Kentucky, so I specifically asked the host about the river level since my 13-year-old son loves to fish. Unfortunately, she didn’t tell me the truth.When we arrived, we found only a dried-up creek, which was a big disappointment for my son and for us. We could have rented a house for a better price and much closer to the national park, but we feel we were misled by the host.We won’t be coming back, even though the property itself is nice.

Very Nice and Private

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this rental. The house is very nice - was secluded, clean, and had all the essentials. We saw deer and lots of birds. We definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the Leitchfield area.

Great location. Few things that could’ve made the trip more enjoyable. Fire alarm randomly went off at night while sleeping and the beds are absolutely hard. Will probably not plan a trip back unless these items get fixed.

Unexpected trip

The host was so accommodating for us.. Unfortunately we had t go to a funeral that was not expected.. they made it happen for us and set us up quick and made ou stay as well as they could given the circumstances would highly recommended this place and we will definitely stay there again

Family get away

Great property, water views on 3 sides. A grill would have been nice but over all would highly recommend, especially since we were able to bring our dog with us to enjoy as well. Home was beautiful.

Nice clean new house. River was really high and it rained most of the weekend so we didn’t get out and do as much as we would have liked. Screened in porch was wonderful and fire pit made plenty of s’mores!!!

Family get-together at the lake

The property is new and well-equipped. The location was quiet and spacious, in a great tucked away area right on the lake. There was an easy gravel path access to a fairly secluded, quiet rocky beach area, with public beaches located within a 20 minute drive. Communication with the host was responsive and friendly. The accommodations were well-equipped and well-thought out with pretty much anything one could need for a pleasant stay. The screened in porch was an added bonus on buggy nights. My favorite spot for a morning coffee.
