Good menu choice in the restaurant with fresh fish and local meat all delicious. Plentiful breakfast of very high quality. Beautiful village with gorgeous walks on your doorstep packed with wildlife. "I had made a mistake when booking the room, i booked a 'snug'. With two Golden Retrievers - a big mistake. Management were great and found us an outside room that was more suited. Loved the staff, other customers and the people in general. Felt the history."

"Looks like it has recently been redecorated, simple and pleasant style. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast items available to help yourself if leaving before official breakfast time. I’ll be staying again "

"Absolutely lovely place, Very modern styling, Comfy bedding, Big shower and all round very nice, Unfortunately though, When it came to the bathroom, We found the toliet seat wasn't even bolted on properly in Room 1, It kepts sliding bout when lifting the seat. Was little annoying, and the only other thing that would make it Absolutely the best is a mini fridge to be able to keep food and drinks cold. Other than that, It was absolutely lovely 8.5/10"

"Owners very helpful and pleasant. Ample parking and short walk to accommodation. Dinner was excellent both in choice and presentation and taste, Breakfast there was a lot of various choices and again cooked fresh to order. Overall an excellent venue."
