Our stay was absolutely amazing! It was me the hubby and 2 other couples to help celebrate my husbands Birthday. The place had extra amenities. Nestled away, Peaceful and serene, but yet still close to things. We prdered pizza and subs as well as cooked.The sound of the pond water so soothing to the ears as you sit on the deck. You can feed the beautiful Koi fish. so much thought was put into this place. Will definitely come to stay again.

If you take a walk, pay attention to the trees, you may find these faces, : )

The property is beautiful, peaceful and the perfect way to spend your time up there. We came up for a bachelorette trip and it was the most serene and peaceful place to be. Our bride to be was beyond happy and enjoyed her room as well as how close we were to the sunflower festival and how many games we could play at the house.

Serene and beautiful!

This is a first class spot! It is very out of the way and so very peaceful. The house is perfectly appointed and the owner is so kind and communicates everything you would need to know. “Paul’s Place” is a wonderful getaway!

Excellent all around!!

My wife and I stayed at Paul's Place for 3 nights. The house is located in a very private/quiet location, surrounded by woods. The host, Greg, was very helpful and supplied us with all the information we needed for our stay. Our only disappointment came when it was time to leave this beautiful home. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Jim Thorpe area.

Mountain peace

My sisters and I wanted a place to meet that was half way between them and us. We found Paul’s Place! It was perfect! There were six of us, three couples. We brought games, but there are games there. The fish pond was fabulous and just so cool to be by. Walking on the paths was wonderful, we were treated by birds singing! We were hoping to see a bear, no luck, but lots of deer in the woods! It rained on day one, but we were fine! The house is well equipped, and it was very clean. The property manager was ready, willing and able to help when we needed it! The history of Paul’s Place is very moving.

Another great stay at Paul’s Place

We are repeat guests. It was wonderful to return to Paul’s Place and see that it is still as clean, well organized, welcoming, and new, as it was when we were visitors during their first year of operations,. We loved the tranquility of the location, the comfortable beds and other furnishings and the inviting living spaces. Communication with the owners was easy and very pleasant. Highly recommend Paul’s Place!

The home is always clean and welcoming. It is so peaceful and quiet, but yet so close to everythin you would need. Beautiful state parks. The owners are so gracious.

Nice, Secluded, and So many extra niceties

It was a lovely stay in a very private wooded area. The hosts also had plenty of extras I'm not used to seeing in a vacation rental like plenty of paper products, plates, cups, cutlery and even disposable toothbrushes. We'd love to stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Second visit - just as amazing

This was our second visit at this lovely house. It was just as amazing this time as it was the first time. Super scenic, extremely serene, this place is the ultimate rental to just disconnect and relax. If you want to just relax in nature it will be hard to find a better place.

Another great stay at Paul's Place

This was our second time staying there and it was a great stay, again! The hosts, Gregory and Ron were very accommodating and just a text or call away. The property is tucked back off the main road and is very quiet. Comfortable cozy beds, gas fireplace, games, DVDs, wifi, games in the basement, such as foosball, corn hole, a table for checkers and chess. Plenty of hot water. Just an all around great place to stay!! We will definitely be back

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We enjoyed Blue Mountain Resort for skiing as well as taking a train ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic railway. Will definitely recommend to friends!! Was a great winter getaway with family!

New Years Eve 2024/2025

Great house, very accurate description on Vrbo, well supplied in all necessities, especially bathrooms and the kitchen are stuffed up, very clean and comfortable.Located in very secluded area with no people around, but close enough to stores, restaurants and state park. Within 15 minutes drive to Jim Thorpe and all its attractions.I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and probably rent it again in the future.Sophie & friends.

Secluded cabin in the woods

This house is the perfect place to get away and enjoy some time with family and friends. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and immaculate. I’ve been staying at rental properties for years and I must say this is the by far the best yet! It was spotless, comfy beds, so many little extras such as well stocked supply of paper products, toiletries, even had packages of tooth brush and paste. The owner was quick to answer my messages and very accommodating. My friends and I will definitely be back and I will be booking a stay with my family in the near future.

Home would bound

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Paul's Place ! Tucked away in the woods, so private and beautifully maintained with all the comforts of home. They thought of everthing, it was all there ! So clean, warm and cozy ! We lost count of the wildlife sightings and our blood pressure has never been so low with the serene setting haha Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. We cant wait to go back...thank you so much for a wonderful getaway !
