"The house was quite beautiful with clean linens and included toiletries. The requirements were to run the dishwasher but didn't provide dishwasher soap. Granted we went out when we hadn't planned to go to store and bought our own. "This was my first visit to this cabin, and to the area, and I loved it! My Border Collie and I enjoyed hanging out seeing and listening to nothing but nature. The cabin is set well back off a very lightly travelled country road surrounded by trees. It had a nice fire pit area, and some hiking trails on the other side of the pond and around the huge yard. "We had 4 adults and 7 children stay here over the last week and it was simply amazing. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and off the boat where they caught some good sized northerns. "Everything about this property was perfect. We were looking for a place that fits our big family and our dog. And this was it. Room for everyone to have their space and then come together to play. The game room downstairs and large dinning room fit our needs and then some. Everything was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook ourselves. "We really enjoyed our stay on the Chetek chain of lakes. The house was well cared for, clean and had everything we needed to make our family vacation effortless. The owners were very friendly and responsive and the location was perfect. It was very nice not having a lot of boat traffic to listen to while sitting outside on the patio but we liked that it was just a short boat ride to bigger part of the lake."
