"It is a disgrace that Expedia lists this property. The bed had bugs (not bed bugs) more like silverfish. The toilet leaked and overall felt unsafe. This place is just nasty, feels more like a by the hour place. There was even a $5 deposit for what I have no idea. The staff could not articulate what it was for.

"Best hotel in Birmingham in my opinion. There are only about a half dozen rooms so it's very quiet. The rooms are great, with plenty of space. The common area with the kitchen and indoor and outdoor sitting areas is very nice, and again, due to the small size it's always quiet. The location is also incredible, as your within walking distance to multiple nice restaurants, and anything beyond that is a quick Uber/Lyft. "This was my second visit in six weeks. We wanted on son to experience the house and Birmingham. As my previous experience, it was lovely and we enjoyed the bird house room more. The bird house truly suits a family and my husband and son enjoyed having a TV in the room. I'm also happy to see some of my previous suggestions were implemented in just a couple of weeks. My best experience is still the other guests as well as the house. I will be back but it will not be so soon 😭😂."

We ended up needing an extra night and the host was very kind in accommodating us. We could literally walk through an adjoining parking lot and have our choice of foods. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it, but if youre looking for something quiet, clean, comfortable and convenient this is definitely where you should go. We're already planning a return visit.
