Une villa au top 👌

La villa est conforme au descriptif, chaleureuse, très bien équipée et entretenue et idéalement placée. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Antoine, notre hôte, a été disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions et attentes. Arrivée et départ facile.

Week relaxing with no driving

Communication with the owner was good, all details for checkin provided on day of arrival. The property was clean, well equipped and great outside space for relaxing in the sun or for getting together for meals. Bedrooms are a good size, two with air conditioning, which is a help as temperature was high during August. Point to note is that bed linen and towels are an extra. Property is located in an ideal place, 400m from the Arcachon Bay, and 6 minute bike ride from the Horizon beach on the Atlantic side. Only a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Cap Ferret where there are some great bars and resultants. Bikes were provided for all of us for the week so no need to drive as most places are accessible by bike, also very pleasant just to able through the forest on the bike tracks. Hopefully will be back at some point in the future.

Perfekte Lage in der Nähe des Leuchturms. Sehr schönes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Wir waren als Paar dort und sind restlos begeistert. Antoine war sehr reaktiv und hat uns einige gute Tipps gegeben. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

Nice house in central location of Cap Ferret

This was our second time visiting Cap Ferret. We stayed at a smaller apartment on the same street last time and enjoyed the expansiveness of this house. For us, the location is great, as it's close to town, the market and the bay beach (with a childrens' playground). Communication with the owner was very good.

Parfait

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison. Elle est très agréable, les espaces sont biens proportionnés et les terrasses agréables à vivre ! La maison est idéalement située près de la mer et des cabanes pour déguster de bonnes huitres ! Hâte d'y revenir !

Well equipped and situated

Met on arrival, shown round and given keys. Well equipped villa with all cooking appliances and wide array of crockery, cutlery and utensils, plus dishwasher. 4 bedrooms, two of which have en suite bathrooms with shower. There is a further bathroom with bath and separate toilet. This bathroom doubles as the laundry, having a washing machine and iron. There is large clothes drying frame provided, but no clothes line that we spotted. All the bedrooms comfortable, though the smallest has no windows, but is ideal for a child or children. Decent sized kitchen, with large table and adequate chairs. Big lounge area with large sofa and two comfortable easy chairs. Television, but no satellite. Excellent Wi-Fi. Comfortable, secluded small outside rear, with sunloungers, table and chairs, all with removable cushions. Outside shower useful for when back from beach. BBQ works well, though is understandably a bit rusty, being exposed to the elements. No garden with grass, all being wooden decking, including the front which has another comfortable area with sofa and chairs. There is also a large upstairs balcony, which we did not use. There were half a dozen bicycles provided, much appreciated, as the area is flat and easily cycled. One has a child's seat. No helmets were provided, but we rented some locally at low cost. Villa Blanche is south of le Phare, and very close to several oyster businesses, all with tastings, including choices of other food and wine. There are several other good restaurants within easy walking distance. The excellent market and several supermarkets are also only 10 minutes walk away. Overall, it is a wonderful area for a family holiday, with calm beaches on Bassin d'Arcachon side, and huge surfing beaches on Atlantic coast, all within walking or cycling distance. However, inner beaches are very tidal, best when tide is in, otherwise a muddy walk to the water. A great holiday, and the owner was most helpful when local workmen damaged our hire car. Strongly recommended.

Excellent séjour! Maison idéalement située à 100m de la plage du bassin, 2min du centre en vélo Situé au coeur du village des ostréiculteurs et donc à deux pas des cabanes à huitres Maison très propre, belle décoration, idéale pour deux familles avec enfants. Voisinage très calme ! Un séjour extraordinaire, je recommande vivement cette villa !!

Séjour parfait dans cette belle villa

La villa est aussi magnifique que sur les photos ! Idéalement située à quelques pas du bassin et du village ostréicole , à proximité de tous les commerces, du phare et du marché. Il est très agréable de pouvoir tout faire à pied ou à vélo en vacances ! La maison ainsi que sa terrasse en bois, décorées et aménagées avec gout, sont très agréables et donnent immédiatement le sentiment d'être en vacances . Les équipements sont de qualité et nombreux, on n’a manqué de rien. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chargé de souvenirs, à recommander sans hésiter !

Formidable

Excellent séjour passé dans cette superbe villa ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et chaleureux et la situation de la maison est vraiment idéale. Il est possible de tout faire en vélo (plage marché dégustation d'huîtres etc ), ce qui est très pratique quand on est en vacances ! La maison est très agréable à vivre et typique du cap ferret ! Je vous la recommande

Situation ideale

La maison est très bien placée et charmante, la terrasse est conviviale et très bien agencée….tout est accessible en vélo. Le tout en plein coeur du cap ferret, à deux pas du bassin et des ostréiculteurs, à quelques encablure des plages..et du marché ! La maison a bénéficié de travaux sympas cet hiver (2015). Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour.
