"There were two couples traveling. The home’s location was ideal, in a quiet neighborhood, up a hill with a beautiful ocean view. The hill does cause the driveway to be quite steep. There are also stairs immediately as you enter to ascend to get to the living part of the residence. Only mentioning that if you have issues walking or carrying luggage.The home was equipped with everything we needed, minus a BBQ, which would have been perfect out on the very nice deck overlooking the ocean. "We only needed this house for one night. We needed to be close to the airport for convenience. The house suited our needs, thus the 5 star rating. It is exactly what you would expect for the lesser cost. "

"We had a great experience right from the beginning the communication was great the place was lovely and was just what we needed for my hubby and I and 2 teens, location was great. Only thing that could be improved is the wifi very patchy and sometimes did not work at all but still 5 star stay, definitely recommend this place, and will stay again next time we are in Christchurch!!! "The place is fairly new with a contemporary style interior however there is only one heat source (heat pump) located on the ground floor; so, the upstairs bedrooms become cool overnight. The 2 nights that we stayed (Mar.19 & 20th) there were several ants in the kitchen and upstairs in the bedrooms and bathroom."

This was peaceful and quiet retreat close to the city with all the amenities you could want: trampoline, hot tubs, sauna, covered outdoor space for cooking, well-stocked kitchen, even friendly farm animals.
