We had the most amazing stay at the Pond View House! I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and so peaceful—such a special place to spend such a meaningful night.The setting is stunning, and the pond view made everything feel so calm and relaxing. It was the perfect spot to slow down, get ready, and enjoy time with my girls before the big day. The house had everything we needed, especially the fully equipped kitchen, which made things so easy. The hot tub was also a huge highlight—such a fun and relaxing touch!The host was wonderful and made everything seamless from start to finish. You can really tell they care about their guests.I’ll always remember this stay and would highly recommend it to anyone—especially for a girls’ night or a special occasion!

Serene country home!

Beautifully appointed home with plenty of space! Two full kitchens and laundries - so it’s perfect for multiple families. Well stocked and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Carole is very responsive and gave us all the information we needed. Highly recommend this quiet cottage by the pond!

Great, very clean home with wonderful, thoughtful touches

We are so glad we chose to stay at this home. It was extremely clean, which is important to us, and the owners had put a great deal of thought and care into implementing welcoming touches--from snack baskets to water bottles to beach towels for the hot tub. We wholeheartedly recommend this spacious, well-equipped home for your family if you are in the area. Also, Carole was delightful and quick to respond to inquiries.

Christmas get away

Beautiful home. If you like to cook you will find a Well stocked kitchen. Probably one of the best stocked kitchens we have stayed in. My only wish is that there was a Christmas tree up but we made it work by bringing our own small one. The home was easy to get to and very private. Would for sure stay here again and highly recommend.

Get away with Friends

We loved this property! My wife and I stayed with two other couples. They bedrooms were comfortable and it was great to have 3 bathrooms. The open layout of the kitchen, dining area, and living room made it feel really spacious. I couldn't believe there was not one or two but 5 of the 6 living room seats reclined! We made full use of the hottub and we could actually see the milky way as we soaked in it at the end of the day. Moreover, the hosts are great! They live 5 minutes away, responded immediately to a few small issues, and were gracious and polite. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful home, couple issues for our stay..

The house itself was beautiful. It was well laid out, with some amazing finishes. I think in the future it will be an awesome rental, however our time specifically fell a little short. There were a few small issues that led to running to the store several times-only one roll of paper towels, one kitchen garbage bag, propane ran out the 1st day.. When I received check in instructions 3 days prior, we were asked if it was okay if they had carpet installed in the basement which we don’t have access to anyways, but it would be on the first and second day (we were only there Thurs-Sun). I was a little shocked a big project like that would be scheduled when there was going to be someone renting at that time. I asked if there was a way to reschedule and they were able to move the second appointment. I was grateful for that because we spent a lot of our time on the back patio, which is right above where the basement door is that they’d be using. That was also when they let us know that the pond had recently been dug up and it was actually empty now. Unfortunately the pond was the selling point for us as we always try to book our vacations with a water view, we thought the “Pond View House” was a no brainer, but were very disappointed about that. I know projects need done and scheduling conflicts happen, but waiting until 3 days before the rental to disclose these things was truly disappointing. Once it’s complete I’m sure it will be lovely, but our trip was unfortunately lacking.
