The host was very welcoming. Had a priblem getting in the cottage when first arrived @ 2 00 am. Responded within10 min and got me in. The cottage is very charming very quiet & peaceful. I hope to stayvthere again.

Maribel was a wonderful and super attentive host. She left a sweet welcome package for my stay. The house was clean and well appointed. The neighborhood was adorable and quiet. It is a small place but good use of space for 2 bedrooms and 2 bath. It was a little cozy for 3 adults but perfect for a couple or a family!

My stay there for a few days was great. Family enjoyed it as well. Nice quiet neighborhood. Didn’t have a chance to hang out outside. The front steps are uneven but maybe that’s not a problem in Florida. The water pressure in showers wasn’t that great, but functional.

Maribel was very sweet. She responded quickly to questions before and during our stay. We received a list of area restaurants and activities in the area which was helpful. The cottage was cozy and inviting. We were so happy our beagle pups could stay with us. Our 25 pound dogs could squeeze through the fence but it would be a perfect fenced in yard for larger dogs. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and just a few minute walk to a park. I had to work from the cottage and the internet was fast and reliable. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was absolutely perfect! Super cute and wonderfully decorated — it instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless, and the fenced-in property gave us both privacy and peace of mind. The location is right in the heart of Umatilla, which made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Communication with the host was a 10/10 — quick, friendly, and so accommodating. I can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and full of charm. It was the perfect size for two people—cozy yet spacious enough to feel completely comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels and linens were soft and high quality. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Maribel was a gracious and thoughtful host, even leaving us a bottle of wine and a lovely note to welcome us. Highly recommended!

Maribel was an amazing host. She answered any of my concerns speedily. The cottage is very cozy and homey. We truly enjoyed our time there. If we plan to take another trip to Florida, we would not hesitate to book it with her. It was worth every moment there. Wished we could have stayed longer.Five stars are not enough for her service. All the stars in the sky are not enough for her!

Perfect Getaway

This cottage is special. Well appointed and welcoming. This is our second stay….and will not be our last. Owner is communicative without being intrusive. Love that it is pet friendly with a wonderful outdoor space. Homey feel and well located ….easy access to surrounding towns and National Forest. Perfect getaway!

Quick trip for Leesburg Bike Fest

We came down to meet friends at Leesburg Bike Fest who were renting a different VRBO down the street!Cottage was exactly as the photos show. Great location for the bike fest. Lots to do nearby.Maribel had a bottle of wine for us and was AMAZING at communicating before, during and after our stay!We arrived late at night, but she had lights on for us, so getting in was very easy! She allowed us to put our motorcycle trailer in the backyard and were able to put the bikes in the front yard with pavers! Felt very secure and safeEl Marie's pizza was phenomenal and arrived SO fast!! Definitely would recommend that place!!Checking out was SO easy! And again communication about that was awesome! Would definitely book here again!

Perfect Cottage Getaway!

Stayed here while our own home in town was being tented for termites. Host was extremely thoughtful and kind. Fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Home was very clean and cozy. Enjoyed our two night stay very much. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Cottage near Mt Dora & Kings Landing

We loved every minute. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very safe. We had several meals in Mt Dora and visited Kings Landings the springs to kayak.(recommend) We will be back to the springs and would recommend this cottage.

Absolutely GREAT STAY——terrific hosts!

Husband and I ( and our German Shepard Lola) wanted a quiet weekend away! This absolutely hit the mark! The cottage was PERFECTION! It is CLEAN and has everything visitors should need. Close to grocery store as well as well placed to see the sites…..or just relax. Did some great front porch sitting watching a rainstorm pass through. Host very communicative… not intrusive at all. The yard was great for Lola … she gives it 4 paws 🐾 up! We are looking forward to future stays! Best VRBO stay to date!!!!!

Peaceful

Came to the area to get away from the beach. To visit a local farm that I buy products from. The cottage is perfect as I came with my 2 little dogs and the neighborhood has sidewalks as well as parks. Upon my arrival there was a nice bottle of wine, chocolates and water. Even a lil sign welcoming me. Literally everything about this space is fantastic. If you are looking for the perfect getaway look no further. Zero problems, when I had just one question host responded immediately. I just put in the wrong code for the WiFi and after I sent the request I figured it out and I got myself tickled with my own mistake.

Great area, nice cottage

I and my sister and her husband, all seniors, stayed for the full month of February. There were lots of positives: great master, comfortable beds, safe and friendly neighborhood, charming decor, great sitting porch and great host. Fun things to do in the area in every direction. We had a few issues that may or may not be a problem for others. The smaller bedroom room had two beds, a single and a full, not a queen, and no bureau. Could not hang adult cloths in the closet due to a shelf in the middle. I used the bed to lay out cloths and lived out of the suitcase for a month. If you had to use both beds I am not sure where the suitcases would go. Also noise and conversation between the master bath and the small bedroom flowed freely. Good and bad. My dog loved the fenced yard- one of my main reasons for booking. But my sisters smaller dogs could escape between the boards so they had to be leashed. ( Dog park close by came in handy.) In summary the good points won and I would not hesitate to book again but probably for a shorter stay.
