My kids loved having the basement space to themselves for movies and games, and the lake view from both floors was lovely. We enjoyed a morning hot tub soak over the water. Helpful and communicative hosts. Would stay again!

Was a perfect little retreat for the night. The hot tub on the lake was amazing we couldn’t have asked for a better night. Huge full moon and clear skies. Only downfall was we just stayed one night! But the cottage is very cozy. They have some board games downstairs and the tv has Hulu Netflix setup in it so don’t have to log into your own! Has a full kitchen to cook whatever. The local grocery store Ledyard Village market is very close fully stocked and has amazing hot to go food.

This lakeside cottage did not disappoint! It was just as advertised: we enjoyed a fire pit on the top deck and the hot tub on the bottom deck. The views were beautiful! And it was perfectly located to Foxwoods, Mystic, Stonington, Groton, etc. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was amazing! Perfect little cottage with a very peaceful view. Hot tub was great on our chilly nights and was even better in the rain! There were some k-cups and shelf creamer, random condiments in the fridge and random cooking supplies in the cabinets. Plenty of pots and pans and the fridge was very clean. We love rentals with random kitchen stuff cause who wants to bring/buy ketchup and maple syrup for a long weekend? Plenty of pillows and blankets around but the beds had 3 layers and the minisplits were awesome so we didnt really have to pull anything extra out. Furniture was very comfy and well loved. The guest book is full and fun to read through. Washer/dryer/detergent on site is always a plus. We didnt get to pull out the canoes/kayaks but sitting on the dock at night star gazing was peak!! Saw some fish jumping around in the water and a squirrel was VERY comfortable with us while we were in the hot tub at one point we definitely want to come back or try the other rental! Also the pond is unbelievably quiet and you literally have no idea you're so close to Foxwoods. We ran around there for a few hours and coming back to the cottage is like a whole nother world. Check in and check out is super simple, but if youre coming at night JUST KNOW there is 1 street light for last few miles and the road is small and winding. Just drive slowly the whole getaway was absolutely lovely!

Very nice property. Beautiful view of the lake. Clean Kitchen stocked. Towels and linens provided. The bridge was out which made the travel time longer each time we left the house. Very close to mystic seaport.

This is by far one of the most enjoyable and relaxing places we have ever stayed at. the host was very nice and the place was labeled throughout to help with the little things. the views of the water was great. We also liked how quiet it was and the local places nearby. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back. 10/10 recommend!

Peace, Comfort & Beauty

The cottage was welcoming & super comfy. Great balance of beachy cottage & needed amenities. And the outdoor space? PERFECTION!! The lake view is a whole vibe & the comfy chairs & swings & tablespace make it almost impossible to go inside. Communication with hosts was simple & friendly & thorough & timely. Great getaway from the winter blues

We had a fantastic 5 day visit at the lakeside. It’s literally 8 minutes from Foxwoods and less than 15 from the Mystic area. The location was perfect. The pictures and description of the cottage was exactly as described. We brought our pup with us in. This was a wonderful environment for her to be in. There was ample space for her to run around in and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, and we were able to take her for her daily walks. There was everything we needed in the cottage. We cooked breakfast every morning and cooked one meal on the outdoor grill. The view upstairs and downstairs on the water was absolutely breathtaking. There were lots of ducks on the water that we got to enjoy watching every day.There were a large supply of cooking utensils and cookware that made it super easy for us to cook. We did bring some of our own spices, but there were already spices there. The TV is located downstairs and had fubo so we could watch regular television and also had a huge selection of apps. One day we never left the cottage and we just went into the hot tub, watch TV and played some of the games that were supplied. We would definitely love to come and visit again when the weather is warmer and we can sit outside to enjoy the beautiful pond. The communication was spot on, and that was before our stay, when we checked in and when we checked out. The daybed downstairs was perfect. We hope to be back later this year or next year.
