Awesome stay!!!
Overall the house and the property were amazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed the setting, being near the river in the woods. It was very easy to find. The house was beautiful- It was an upgrade as the home we rented had a problem with the hot tub before check-in, so they moved us to another unit, which we greatly appreciated as the hot tub was a main attraction and was used alot! The unit had way more bedrooms than we needed-we wish there was a designated master suite but it would be a fantastic house for several families or a large group!!! The upstairs games were a little worn-there was a frayed electrical cord we found right away on the air hockey that we reported within the first hour of check-in, and we were unable to use the shuffleboard game due to lack of sand on the platform. The movie theatre was (we thought initially) an added bonus but all the remotes were confusing. We spent almost all of our time outside anyway, so it was not a big deal. Everything was vlearly marked, both inside and out, and had everything we coule have wanted in the kitchen bathrooms, and the plethora of activities for the kids outside. Overall, we would 100% stay at this place again and will recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

This property Will Not disappoint!!!!!!
We stayed at the Oma lodge with our two best couples for a surprise engagement. When we got there, the house was clean & decorated with wonderful Christmas touches. The main living area is a great room, with a giant table, big enough to sit around and comfortably enjoy eating/playing games. There are extra blankets to cuddle up with on the couch, and the living furniture reclined. There is a cabinet that has toys/books for children. The TV had apps that work, and there were lots of other games to play. There is also a speaker for music! Outside was the BEST! Not only was the hot tub ready to go, there are chemicals to keep it fresh. There is tetherball & a giant connect 4. The chess and teeter totter were covered in too much snow for us to attempt, but looked fun! The kitchen had more than enough silverware/glassware, so we didn’t have to constantly wash dishes. The stove was cozy and even though it was 25° and snowing the whole time, the cabin was always warm! A few things to note - There aren’t any floor mats (other than the front door). We used some of the extra towels for coming in from the hot tub and from being out in the snow. Bring some slippers so your socks don’t get wet. - The walls are wood only, and not fully connected at the edges. If you are a light sleeper, or have children, bring a fan/noise machine. - Pack a spray cleaner for the kitchen All in all it was absolutely amazing…. Pictures don’t do it justice! Lovely Private Cabin
Clean newer or updated cabin, spacious indoors and out- set away from other properties and surrounded by woods and trails. River access with a little sandy beach. Checkin information was great just a little slow arriving. Overall wonderful place to stay and enjoy family time!

Beautiful Cabin outside of Leavenworth, WA
GREAT cabin, short drive to Leavenworth. The cabin is cozy, but still has all the modern amenities that you need. Lots of lawn games and a super clean hottub. Short walk down to the river, or the state park is only 15 min away. Quiet community. Cant wait to go back someday. Best VRBO/ Air B & B I've ever booked.

Awesome Place to Stay!!
Our stay at Oma Lodge was just wonderful! My family had such a wonderful time and we just loved the open layout of the cabin. The Christmas tree made it especially festive and we cant wait to go back next year!!

Awesome Family Vacation
My family of 6 adults had a great time at Oma Lodge! Great ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of games inside and outside. Room to spread out - inside and outside.

Very spacious, relaxing place to stay.
We had a lot of fun on our trip. We spent time in the hot tub, used the fire pit. We went to Lake Wenatchee one day to Kayak and Jet ski. We went to Leavenworth 3 times. Once to check out the area and have dinner, once to go tubing down the river and once to shop. I wish more than 8 people would have been allowed at the house since there was certainly room. We have 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren. But the strict policy meant we had to leave some immediate family members out. We were really bummed. We had a great time and loved the place but need to accomodate our entire family.

Beautiful Wood Home
Absolutely stunning! Perfect space for my family. It was beautiful, large, open, and tucked away so my family wasn’t as inclined to leave often…(loved the secluded time spent with them). Trees and snow added to the spectacular views from every window (lots of windows)…. Just magical! The loft upstairs was open to the downstairs living room, so we felt a part of the group when they were up there playing foosball or air hockey! The jacuzzi was right in front of the dining room (very large windows), so again it created another space where people had the option to ”get away” but also included everyone while they were out there (because of how open it was). The dining table (beautiful crafted-all wood) was one of the longest tables I have ever seen!!! Plenty of room to sit and enjoy a meal together. Walls were paper thin so you will hear creaks, footsteps, and all conversations from every room in the house as well as the critters outside- so if that bothers you, you might want a more insulated house. We will definitely be back!!❤️

Great weekend
Beautiful place. The prop could have used a little cutting or pruning as there was things in places where it was overgrown. No big deal tho, we just moved to another area and then moved back once done. It was a beautiful place and we had some minor issues but were fixed as soon as we contacted manager. They have everything you need there as far as entertainment goes. Games, video and board, a foosball table, hockey, you name it, they have it! Great location and they also had a lot of info on places to eat and such. I frequent there so we already knew of places since our friends are remodeling their place a block away but was happy to see so many other places that we have never seen in their little welcoming book. Thank you for an amazing weekend Oma!!!

Great place to stay. Close to Leavenworth and great swimming lake. Just be sure to bring extra towels. Only complaint about kitchen was lack of large mixing bowls and pitcher for drinks. It was over a 100 degrees so bedrooms were hot at night but not much u can do with over 100 degree temps.

Wonderful family getaway
Rented the Oma lodge for a long weekend with family and had such a great time! Very spacious with a nice large table that fit our group of 10 for dinners and games. There were so many activities to do that we really didn’t have much reason to leave other than going to visit Leavenworth for the day. Our time together at the cabin, playing board games, air hockey, foosball, and cooking great meals was definitely the highlight of the trip. The surrounding neighborhood was also quiet and great for walks or morning runs. 10/10 would recommend to others looking for a large cabin to fit family/friends.

Perfect Getaway!
We decided to do a quick last Summer trip to Plain/Leavenworth and this house was perfect for that. Close enough to everything the area has to offer but also secluded in the woods for some relaxation and family time. Loved the house and our stay there.

Great for families!
We loved the well appointed house and all the diverse outdoor games possibilities. You just have to be aware that there is no cell reception in the area and that wifi can be slow with a larger group.

Thank You Annelise, I'm glad your group enjoyed there stay. Major cell phone companies work just fine: ATT & Verizon, but others could be spotty. Wifi is great for searches, but not streaming and I suppose if all 14 guest were on at the same time it would have its limits. Come back anytime!!

This is the perfect place for families. Clean, spacious, quiet, hot tub, many outside toys and games
We had a large family reunion here. We rented 3 houses, Oma being one of them. The children loved the outside sandbox with toys, hot tub, airplane teeter-totter, lawn chess. The log homes are spacious and close, but not too close, enough so children and adults can walk from one to another. There is no traffic and the setting in the woods is serene. The houses have full kitchens and enough dishes to feed a crowd. Large tables inside and an abundance of patio furniture outside make it easy to serve a crowd. We love this place!

My Review
The cabin is very beautiful and many things are provided! Unfortunately it is one of the first houses in a neighborhood. It was not as secluded/private as we would have liked. We did not get the “cabin/outdoor” feel that we were looking for, as it is located in a neighborhood. There were other cabins farther down the road that were a little more secluded than this one. The inside of the house is beautiful too and has a great cabin feel. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The bedrooms were simple but nice and clean. The cabin had several openings between logs so sound traveled easily. The upstairs play area was fun for the kids & adults. The hot tub and games provided outside were fun! Unfortunately the mosquitos were horrible during the day and night! Also, be careful of the porch. Our kiddos got many splinters walking around. Overall we had a great time though!

So sorry, you didn't get the cabin feeling you were hoping for. This amazing Log Home's back deck faces 20+ acres of wooded forest service land for our guests to enjoy. Normally, guests enjoy this focal point of the home. The front of the home where you park does have a driveway that goes to 2 other homes located on there own acreage. With the month of May being warmer then usual this year, we did see an early hatch of mosquitoes. Our community pulls funds together to do 5 sprays a year. Your time must have been just before a spray. Normally, they are very controlled. My apologies. I'm glad overall you enjoyed your stay.

Very good
we enjoyed our stay so much. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. The instructions on the app were very helpful and made directions and entrance very easy. My only complaint would be the overwhelming smell of pine sol. Even the oven smelled like pine sol so I didn't want to cook in it. As soon as we lit the wood stove it smelled better though.

Weekend get away with family
We celebrated my husbands 30th birthday- staying at the Oma lodge with friends and family. AMAZING time, place was great- beds were comfortable and slept everyone. Plenty of space. Lots of fun in the game room and hot tub. Beautiful cabin!! Can not wait to go back and have fun in the snow, We rented snowmobiles and the park was just a short drive from the cabin. Will definitely be returning and booking through Brunners again!

A Spectacular Log Home for all seasons!
Our family spent 3 days in the Oma Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home and setting in the lovely woods on the river. The lodge is well equipped, beautiful decorated and had lovely Christmas decorations for us to enjoy. There were plenty of towels and linens and the beds were warm and cozy. We had a huge snowstorm while we were there and the maintenance man quickly plowed our entrance and was available for anything else we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cookware and the wood burning stove and heating units kept the lodge warm and cozy. There was lots and lots of firewood available. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room upstairs. We would highly recommend the Oma Lodge and hope to return again someday!

wonderful Winter Vacation just far enough away from Leavenworth
Our family gathered for a winter vacation at Oma Lodge. It was marvelous and accomodated children and adults. Nice sledding hill on the property was a lot of fun for all. Heated partially by a wood stove, this was the mountain cabin experience we craved, the kitchen and family area and large table were well accommodated. they even had a decorated Christmas Tree and Gingerbread house for the kids to decorate. Our only issue, that turned out to be a blessing was the internet went down for most of the trip and only partial cell coverage. We would do this again in a heartbeat

Beautiful cabin- so many things to do for the whole family of all ages!

The property itself was great but then we met the mice.
The one thing that made it a bit different for us was that there were mice that would visit our food at night. We threw some food because we were not sure what all they had tested out. It was unfortunate but that one thing ruined the 5/5 review that I would have given. In the mornings we would find dropping on the counters and along the walls. I am not sure if this is normal for this property. It would have been nice to at least been told that these creatures were joining us. I camp, I hunt, I fish so they don't scare me nor are mice scary creatures but we do not like them inside the house. Maybe this was a fluke but it did make it a bit difficult to feel totally comfortable. There were dirty cups and bowls put away in the cupboards as well. I assume it was from the last group that were there and it is difficult to catch before the next group comes in. As you can see the review was about mice so was our experience at this property. The area itself was great. We went on walks and people that we ran into were friendly. I totally would have given it a 5/5 if it were not for the mice. The property managers are super nice and answered emails super fast. It was easy to process the paperwork etc. I appreciated the time and attention they spend on the questions I submitted through email.

One mouse is unacceptable to us. I wish you would have called, emailed or texted us during your 3 day stay. We pride ourselves in solving issues that may arise. Mice have not been an issue in the past and we will make sure going forward they will not affect future stays. As you can see from our other 41: 5 STAR reviews that we work hard to provide a beautiful home for guests to enjoy and mice have never been an issue.

Wonderful location, great home, lots to do!!
The home was bigger and with more beds than we expected. Actually 3 queen-on-queen bunk bed rooms and a really fun loft area with a queen bed. There was toys for the kids and the kitchen table is plenty big for a full group!! 25 min to Leavenworth, but 5-10 min from Lake Wenatchee. Can't wait to stay there agin next year!!

Perfect family vacation!
Our extended family booked Oma Lodge with 7 adults, a crawler, a toddler and two dogs and had the most amazing long weekend. Oma Lodge was so much better than we could have imagined and our whole family, plus the dogs, were really relaxed and comfortable there. The babaies and dogs were especially entranced, always on alert for chipmunks and deer! The house was very, very well-stocked and we had everything we needed for a summer escape and lots of family meals. Open windows and fans at night, and AC units in the day kept the shaded house cool in the 100+° days, and the river was nearby. We had a rough start when we had trouble getting the refrigerator cool the first night and called the hosts for advice. They actually drove an hour and a half to buy a new one and offered to install it when they returned at 11 that night. I mean, who does that?? We ended up getting and keeping it cool after all, and the hosts just kept the new refrigerator, as "back up, just in case". Their response especially reassured our two young moms and was really amazing. . We can't say enough wonderful compliments about Oma and its owners. This was a real treat that all of us enjoyed so, so much! I think this will be an annual event for us, and my husband is already thinking about Thanksgiving!

The home and property were clean and well maintained. Plenty of space to hang out and relax.
Our ladies retreat was a great time of relaxation. There were plenty of beds to accommodate everyone and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. Plan to bring some Tupperware or ziploc bags for leftovers since there aren't any containers with lids. It's definitely a place worth coming back to.

Incredible space for our family
We had a total of 14 people including 7 kids ages ranging from 1 month to 5 years and Oma Lodge was a perfect home for everyone! The lodge itself is very spacious, comfortable, clean and built to handle a large group. The rooms were a good size and the three bathrooms were a plus. We really enjoyed the large dining table as everyone was able to eat together. The outdoor space was perfect, I was impressed by the sandbox, airplane teeter-totter, and large chess board, kids and adults had a great time. The hot tub was popular of course. It was nice to be in such a private setting that the kids could explore and yet still be visible. The property managers were very responsive leading up to our stay, we had a last minute dog addition that was approved quickly. Arrival and checkout were seamless, the "asks" by the property management company were reasonable. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we all look forward to our return trip!

What a wonderful place!
We stayed here with our extended family for an after Christmas family reunion. The lodge was beautiful and is laid out very well to handle a large group. It snowed every day we were there and we had just a wonderful time together as a family. So glad we were able to stay at the Oma lodge. We especially liked that none of the bathrooms are suite style. We had 5 married couples so it was nice that everyone got their own bedroom but nobody had to go into another's bedroom to use the bathroom. This makes the Oma lodge the perfect large group location.

A fine place to stay for a relaxing time
Our stay at Oma lodge was as amazing as we hoped it could be and was limited only by our imagination and some of the stricter rules. The place was in great shape when we arrived with the exception of an empty water bottle that or two that must have been missed by the crew before us. The common area was spacious and well-supplies, with an assortment of utensils and other instruments that make one feel right at home and lacking for nothing. There was never a lack for things to do, if it wasn't using one of the cabin's amenities then it was enjoying ourselves with the entertainment we brought or visiting the nearby parks and recreational areas to enjoy the day. The cabin itself had AC so it was cool despite the scorching temperatures outside, and when things cooled down at night the fire pit and hot tub offered a great place to relax. For those of us needing to be plugged in, the optional wi-fi was an amazing boon and was shockingly fast given the remoteness of the location - the geeks were impressed. The only downsides that we encountered were the strict regulations on usage of the firepit (it was unclear if we could use this or not based on signage and word) as well as the noise restrictions. For a bunch of night owls, 10:00 PM is a bit early for no outdoor noise, and we definitely felt the pressure of trying to keep things quiet with a large group of people. Finally, when things did quiet down, we found that the house carries noise quite well, so we had that to contend with as well. Despite this, our entire group enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed themselves and everything the Cabin and surrounding area had to offer. All in all though, the Oma lodge was a great place for a vacation and I'd definitely recommend it for the appropriate group. Responsible adults and groups with children will find a great vacationing spot - just don't expect a ton of individual privacy and be conscientious of others in nearby establishments and you can't go wrong.

Amazing Home away from Home
WE had an amazing time for the weekend. It was wonderful! Nice an close to downtown but still far enough away to be quiet and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Can't wait until next year when we can come again and we will definitely stay here!
