Can’t complain too nuch

The only thing that bothered me a lot was the fact that someone came by unannounced to check the hot tub. He just walked right over to it without even nocking or anything. Thankfully my husband and I weren’t using it at the time but if we were it would have made me extremely uncomfortable.

The code to the front door didn't work. We called the number and they asked us if we were at the right place... Seriously??There were no drinking glasses, potholders or baking pans for the oven. We were not told the grill wouldn't be available.

Very quiet and perfect place to get away

The place was very nice and quiet. That table was a little sticky and some of the previous people staying there left some trash in the yard (including dog poop) that it made me a little weary to let my little child run around to much. The cabin was good and the hot tub was fun.

Such a cute little cabin, perfect for a little weekend getaway in a beautiful area. Warm and welcoming vibes, and about 20 mins from Leavenworth. The only issue was it dumped snow and the driveway wasn’t plowed, not super easy to get to if you don’t have a 4wD in the winter, if it hasn’t been plowed.

Unacceptable Condition of Property Upon Arrival

Upon arrival, - Dirty bathroom: At least 5-6 wet towels left on the shower floor. -Unmade beds: Both the main bedroom and the second bedroom on the second floor had dirty sheets, and the beds were not made. -Wet towels: There were wet towels on the floor near the second bedroom. -Dirty dishwasher: The dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes. -Hot tub had some leaves and bottle caps inside I contacted the property management company, but no prompt solution was given. No washer in the cabin. To make the best of the situation, we had to search the house for clean sheets and towels, but there were no additional pillowcases, and only one set of sheets fit on the beds. My 70-year-old father slept on the couch, while my husband and I used the clean sheets we found, but had to turn the pillowcases inside out. We also found a few clean towels under the sink and took it upon ourselves to clean the kitchen and living room.. The area is beautiful, we had fresh snow over night, which made it very special for my dad who is from Brazil. I will definitely come back to Leavenworth, won’t be coming to the same cabin though. I am still waiting to hear from Vacasa or VRBO about the situation…

Cute place

Cute place right near Leavenworth and lake Wenatchee. Could use some better glass and kitchen items, TV in living room didn’t work, and the kitchen table was extremely sticky. But overall a good place for the price.

winter wonderland

This place was super cute & cozy. The hot tub was lovely, and the wood stove really added a cherry on top. The tableware was well stocked, and a good selection of pots/pans. I would've sacrificed a couple of the can openers for all of the stove handles or a knife sharpener, but overall we had plenty to make it work. I'd come back for sure, with a few more kitchen supplies & blankies this time to get things just right.

It was simple. Great play room upstairs for kiddos. However, glass found at front near steps. Couple smoke detectors missing downstairs. Hot tub was bonus and worked fine. Definitely cabin feel.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods, Nice Hot tub, Could Use Some Improvements

My family and I had a lovely stay at Whispering Pines overall - the cabin was warm and cozy and the hot tub was very nice. Cooking appliances worked great and kitchen was well stocked with essentials. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was newly renovated. There could be some improvements, however: (1) The internet/wifi did not work the entire time we were there, and we did attempt to troubleshoot with Vacasa staff but they were a bit slow to reply and their only suggestion was to unplug and reset, which we did several times to no avail; (2) there was only enough hot water for one person to take a shower per day - which was rough for a family of 4, had to take a couple cold showers to make due; (3) the outside garbage was completely full upon our arrival - and we found garbage in the house when we arrived that we had to clean; (4) the fireplace could use some repairs as well as the ladder to the loft (a little rickety) and the downstairs bedroom would benefit from a renovation as well.

Sweet Little Cabin

We stayed a couple nights to enjoy Leavenworth and ski at Stevens. The cabin was in the perfect location just 30 minutes from the pass. The hot tub was perfect. We’ll definitely go back!

Birthday surprise

I booked this cabin as a surprise get away for my husband's birthday. It far surpassed my expectations! The cabin was clean and the surrounding area has beautiful trees surrounding it. There hot tub was lovely to sit in when it was cold out! We loved our stay and are thinking of booking again in the future.

Lovely getaway

Great little cabin in the woods. Nice location very private. My dog is anxious so having a lot of space and quiet was awesome. Cabin was toasty warm and set up well for cooking etc. lots of great hiking nearby. Nice getaway, lots of wildlife to see too- our dog particularly liked to watch the wild turkeys and the snowshoe hares from the window

Cozy place

It was disappointing that there is a grill in the images, and then to not have access to the grill. I understand it is not listed in amenities, however, it feels misleading to show a grill in the pictures. We brought food with the purpose of cooking on the grill. The heater rattles quite a bit, so we were pleased we managed to use only the wood burning stove (lovely feature) to heat the place on the second night. The place has a cozy feel. Bring your own cooking oil.

Nice little cabin. A few tweaks would make it great

Cabin was clean, cute and cozy. Felt private even though it’s in a small mountain neighborhood. It was a winter stay for us and the hot tub was a real draw. It was hot and clean if a bit treacherous to get to (the deck had obviously never been shoveled so it was a slippery walk over a packed snow/ice mound to get to. Adventure!). But sitting in a steaming tub surrounded by snow drifts was perfect. My biggest issue is the lack of clarity on what would be provided as far as consumables. Especially firewood. Having the wood burning stove was one of the draws and it was annoying to get there and have to quickly turn around and go buy some. The posting and reviews are unclear on whether it would be stocked and I even asked via the app and got no response. Similarly, having a keurig but no pods provided is pretty pointless. I honestly don’t really care about having to bring these things - the post should just be explicit so you know what to bring. I also think a 10am checkout is a little excessive for a vacation property (esp with a 4pm check in). But all and all was a great stay, just could have been a 5 with minimal effort.

Cozy cabin, crazy neighbors

Cute and cozy little cabin. Had lots of fun amenities for younger children. Jacuzzi was amazing. Very clean inside cabin. The yard could have used some work a little untamed. Lots of random piles of wood/ junk laying around. The 1 toliet got clogged upon first use which was upsetting but the shower was heavenly. The second floor had one nice queen sized bed but to say this cabin could sleep anymore than 3 people is a stretch. The other beds on the second floor could only sleep smaller children. The real issue we had with this property came with the improper and outdated signage posted about a "burn ban". We started a small recreational fire in the fire pit as the listed signage said the burn ban had ended 3 days prior. A neighbor immediately ran down and started screaming at us and threatening us saying we were so stupid and careless for using the fire pit as the burn ban dates were inaccurate. He called the fire department and threatened to call the police. We immediately exhausted our small fire pit and the rest of our trip was a filled with anxiety over this neighbor harassing us. We contacted property management that night and didn't hear back. A day later I called again and they vowed to update the signage. They have us a $100 discount for the trouble we faced due to the improper signage. We did not feel this was fair since it ultimately ruined our vacation.

Great place, but too small for a family

Cleanliness was substandard. Upon arrival there was debris on the table and kitchen counters. Also, the garbage bin was overflowing, so our ability to take out trash was constrained. The cabin itself was cute. However, two of the beds are not usable for anyone other than a toddler - not revealed in listing. The location was nice and the setting was excellent. Glad we stayed, but would not come back and would not recommend for a family.

Anniversary weekend

My husband and I used this as a get away for our 10 year anniversary. We loved it. It would've been great to have the kids since there was so many toys for kids to play on. Thank you for a relaxing wonderful weekend.
