Lake Travis Getaway

We were attending a wedding in Jonestown, and this condo was 15 minutes from the venue. It was even nicer than the pictures were. Very clean and a great view of the lake. I am in a wheelchair, everything was very accessible. Lago Vista has some fun restaurants. The condo had everything we needed to cook dinner. Everything was very comfortable.

Great weekend getaway!

We were there for a family wedding. Accommodations were perfect. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed drinking our coffee on the balcony with its awesome view. Elevator was perfectly placed for my elderly mother.

Really nice place, really nice host

We enjoyed the Walker Villa overlooking Travis Lake for four nights including the total solar eclipse of 2024. Paula, our host, was very proactive and helpful while we planned the details of the trip; she was great! The Villa itself is roomy, tastefully decorated, and extremely well-equipped if you choose to self-cater. Furniture is lovely and comfy, beds are great, and the patio overlooking the lake is furnished with a six-chair table and a comfortable L-shaped couch that saw a lot of lounging by our group of four. The second-floor site improves the views; access is easy with the nearby elevator. We never had to park more than 100 ft away, but if you are there during a busy time, you may walk a little further after parking. There are six heat pumps about ten feet below the patio that can be a little distracting compared to the general quiet of the location.

Family vacation

The loft was very nice, and had everything you could need for the stay. Beautiful scenery. The pool area was amazing. Would definitely recommend scheduling water activities in advance but the host was very good about giving us multiple suggestions about the area. The only thing i wish e has was a golf cart that we saw some people using.

We love this property! The view is unbeatable! Our family enjoyed our stay in this large and spacious villa. We had everything we needed for cooking and we appreciated having pantry space for groceries. Our favorite part of our vacation was sitting outside on the back patio and enjoying the lake and hill country view! So relaxing! Can't wait to go back! 🙂

Great location with views and amenities

Perfect property for family of 6. Played games on the large kitchen table and enjoyed the view from the fantastic patio. Amenities, such as walking trails, pickle ball and weight room, added to the fun.

Wonderful Family Trip

Our family of six (ages 2-14) plus Grandma definitely recommends this property! It is spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The amenities such as the community pool, sport court and park were a perfect fit for our kids. The view from the second floor porch is just beautiful! The owner was extremely accommodating and communicative. My children are already asking if we can come back every summer :) A definite five stars!

Great location. Needs a little updating.

This location can't be beat. The rental is spacious and clean. We were disappointed in the very few channels that were available to watch, and no Smart TV for us to log in to a movie platform (Netflix, etc) to watch a movie at night. The living room ceiling lights were out. Also small things like foil or Saran Wrap are needed to wrap up leftovers. The walls showed where touch up paint was put, but don't match the wall color. Just needs a little updating. Overall we had a great stay.

Perfect home base for Hill Country adventure

My teens and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean and comfortable. The check-in was easy, and the balcony view was fantastic. We sat out there for hours each morning and each evening. We used the condo as our home base and ventured out to different parts of hill country each day. The condo was in the perfect location to easily access Austin, Luchenbach, Marble Falls, and Fredericksburg. It was quiet, and the beds were so comfortable. Paula, the owner, was a tremendous help - from sorting out a VRBO issue with the reservation itself to providing excellent restaurant and activity recommendations to being very responsive to a question that popped up near the end of our stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a delightful Spring Break escape, Paula!

AUSTIN GOLF TRIP

My family and I had a blast on our trip. This villa is perfect for the number of people who came on this trip. Everyone has a bed and the kitchen table sets us all. The view from the balcony is amazing.

Came up short

When arriving upon property, we were really excited and it seemed promising! Unfortunately things took a turn. The location is great and we enjoyed our time even though the first day we arrived, we had to bring attention to the owner about the floors because our infant crawling around had dirty feet, making us question whether they did a thorough job. Ms. Paula was nice about it and said she’ll get her cleaning crew to come out the next morning to redo it. So everything was good from there on out; that’s until we left the property. We received a voicemail from Ms. Paula checking in on us because of a broken fan blade. She showed concern for us being possibly hurt. We called her back and told her we didn’t know about a ceiling fan blade being broken. She said she was glad no one was hurt but never once mentioned she was going to charge us for it. We found a charge on our account for $442 and reached out to her. That’s when she didn’t pick up our phone calls when she had previously. Had the fan broken during our stay, we would’ve notified her immediately especially since that would’ve been a danger to our kids and if it injured one of us, we’d have a much bigger issue right now. After texting her again to call us back to explain/refund us and no response, we said we were going to take action and that’s when the refund magically appeared. We hated to do this as we’ve never had to do this before and we really liked our stay, but unfortunately we won’t be able to come back anymore.

Great condo in good location

Paula, the owner, was great in communicating and providing suggestions this made the check in process and our stay enjoyable. We loved this condo, the pictures don’t really do this place justice! The lake view from the patio was amazing, the condo was clean, comfortable and spacious. The condo had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and baths. We also enjoyed the amenities offered at the community which includes multiple pools, basketball court, ping pong and the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely view with all of the amenities

Our family enjoyed the beautiful view from the patio every morning and evening. Pamela gave us many recommendations for activities and restaurants and she was very accessible during our stay. The condo had everything we needed and the long weekend was a great experience for us all!

Exceeded Expectations!

This villa is amazing! The view is incredible and the outdoor space is so relaxing. I was impressed with the owner’s attention to detail and responsiveness. She provided so many helpful recommendations and was quick to respond via email and text to all of my questions. The high end furnishings and comfortable beds were a huge plus. We enjoyed the Beach Club pools and restaurant. The villa is spacious and in a convenient location with views that can’t be beat! I would definitely stay here again!

Slice of paradise!

Gorgeous condo with fantastic views & amenities! Our group of 4 girls spent a long weekend there celebrating August & September birthdays & had a blast. We rented kayaks & SUP's one morning & thoroughly enjoyed the pool during the heat of the afternoon. Communication with the owner was excellent and her recommendations were spot-on!

The Walker Family Condo at the The Hollows is amazing! Perfect for our family of 5. Great View! The amenities are so accessible and nice (pool, trails, marina, etc). Paula is so friendly & helpful. Her reccomendations were spot on! The kids asked if we could already book it again for another week! That never happens with teenagers!
