    Located on Point Pelee Drive, the bunker is ideal for a couple, or an individual looking for a short term stay in the Leamington Area.



    It boasts comfort, and Lake Erie living.



    The outdoor picnic table and bonfire pit ensures you and your guest never miss a beat of the Lake Erie View



    The bunker is equipped with everything you need, including a queen size bed with sheets, a love seat with recliners, washer and dryer, gas oven and stove, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. The bath includes a fully tiled shower that adds a perfect touch of home.

    Short drive into town for all your shopping needs



    *Please note: there is full house on the property, and that could be rented by a separate group. The driveway is the only amenity shared with the house.

This is a small cozy place right on the lake, and convenient for getting to Point Pelee national park. It was clean and has a very well stocked kitchen. We had a small issue with a window, and the owner was quick to respond and help fix it. We had a great time.

The bunky was great! Clean, comfortable and flexible heating/cooling, Beatiful view of the lake. Nice to have a full kitchen even though it was a cottage for two. Bathroom was very nice with good towels. Will definitely come again!

Relaxing and Peaceful

This was a second stay at Bunker by the Bay. A small, but cozy little place big enough for two! If looking to spend time at Point Pelee National Park, it's just down the road a bit and a park pass is available to use. The town is also a short drive away.

A getaway

It was a great spot for a quiet getaway.The outdoor fire pit was good for evening fires under the stars.Also the park pass was an excellent bonus.

This is a very small, cozy, clean, and well stocked place to stay. Because everything was well stocked and clean I didn't need to contact the owner, but she checked in to make sure all was well which was a nice touch. The views were great and the accommodations were very comfortable. We had a great stay. Great host!

Great spot

This is my third return visit to Bunker by the Bay and I love it. Beautiful and convenient location, nicely set up for longer stays. Like a home away from home!

As previously described, this cottage is small but comfortable with plenty of extras: lots of night lights, pots and pans, dishes and glassware (not all bnb’s have an ample supply) quiet overhead fans and air conditioning, a long lawn to watch the swallows dip and dive as they feed their young. Or watch the moonshine over the lake. So fun. It’s spotless- cleaner than our own home! A full size frig and gas stove were just the ticket for our cooking. To enjoy the beach, biking trails, paddling, it’s a short drive to Point Pelee National Park. Thank you for the free pass:) Bring your own firewood. We had a few issues which our host Gabriella quickly resolved. All in all it was a very relaxing time. 👍👍 Thank you.

Pelee Island Getaway and Bunker by the Bay

Great location - half way between Point Pelee National Park and the Leamington ferry that goes to Point Pelee Island. Very clean, tidy and functional space.Beautiful sunsets and very responsive and host.

Nice getaway

Clean and tidy place, lovely view of the lake, we visited the nearby restaurant a few times just for the convenience of the five minute walk, the owner has utilised the space and give it a modern look that is very functional but cosy.....we will stay again but a wee bit longer next time

Escape from responsibility

Such a cute little cottage that I wish was my own, to escape to, far enough from the town to feel away, but close enough for everything you need. SUPER comfy bed, good heating system, tankless hot water, cozy couch, lacking nothing.

I was in the area for a quick trip to the national park. The price and proximity sold me! The bunker was small (as advertised) but met all my needs and was very clean.The Keurig pods and park pass were great touches and nothing compares to the sunsets! Would definitely book again. Thank you!

A truly wonderful, comfortable and convenient place to stay during our visit to the area.

A magnificent location ... wonderful view of the lake with easy access to Point Pelee National Park and the wine route. The many items that were provided with the Bunker by the Bay made it much easier to plan, pack and travel. Definitely worth a return visit in the future :)
