Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! I'm not sure what contact you used for your question. We prominently display our cell phone for direct communication throughout the home as well as in the digital guestbook which is emailed and texted to you. We never received any communication from you before or during your stay. I'm glad you enjoyed the home. We ask that guests clean up after themselves and put trash in the bin just outside the door. It is suggested to strip the beds and start a load of laundry, but this is not required. It is a small gesture to help the housekeeper get a start, especially during turnovers so that we can allow for early arrivals when requested! The cleaning fee is reasonable and in line with other similar home rentals, and goes towards stocking the home and paying our cleaning companies. We hope to host your next stay in Leadville!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! As mentioned in previous reviews, and in our pre-arrival info, the owner is upgrading the kitchen in August 2023. The water stains you mention are minor, and are a result of an ice dam this winter. They are getting taken care of the next time we have a vacant slot. We prominently display in our advertising and in our pre-arrival information that outdoor fires are not allowed per the HOA restrictions. Your stay was in May, right after snow melt, when we were still getting ice and snow, therefore we had not brought out the canoe or the outdoor chairs yet. I apologize that this was not completed for you. We hope to host your next stay in Leadville!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The owner of this property is in the process of updating the kitchen and this should be completed by the end of the summer. The County plows the road to the house, and they are pretty good about getting to it as soon as they can, but if you arrive on a snow day, you may have snow to contend with. We do recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle for all of our properties, as Colorado is known to have inclement weather from time to time! We hope to host your next stay in Lake County!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The owner realizes that the kitchen needs a remodel, and it is on the schedule. (Contractors are difficult to schedule.) THe remodel will be completed in August 2023. We believe that you are confused on the deck and electrical wiring though. The deck has been comnpletely rebuilt and is made out of Trex. The wiring you see outside the home is for heat tape along the roof sills to combat ice buildup in the winter. The deck is completely safe and sound and has beautiful views of a wonderful lake.

Thank you for leaving a review. The owner actually has a complete kitchen cabinet and light remodel on the schedule this off-season. We are forwarding your other suggestions regarding clocks, lamp and bath hook! We will certainly have the maintenance items taken care of including lightbulbs. You did not contact us once during your stay to notify us, otherwise we would have immediately taken care of whatever we could. The home is located in a mountain setting, rather than a manicured subdivision, and therefore the surroundings for all of the homes in this area are in their natural state. We hope you return to Leadville to enjoy all the incredible outdoor activities it has to offer!
