This was a beautiful room to stay in. The deep soaking tub was exactly what I needed. The property was unassuming, which made it difficult at first to find it, but the GPS was on target. Everything was done via my phone, and I did not have to seek anyone for anything. There was a code emailed to me for room entry and I even paid for the room the day I checked in. The microwave and coffee pots were in a communal area and not in the room itself. It was very cold when I stayed but the Hot Tub was a nice surprise even though I was not able to partake. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking lot is too small, had to park illegally until another guest left and took their spot… also, if free wifi is advertised why isn’t the password written somewhere in your room? Community fridge and coffee maker… they appeared clean but who knows when it’s in a public-access breezeway. No switch to turn on the fan in the bathroom, very few amenities. Perfect for people looking for only a bed before spending the whole day out and about.

The unit was surprisingly nice and well kept. We found the last parking space so were concerned how to contact someone to find parking. But no issues….great town, great unit, great hot tub!

Better than I expected. The hot tub didn't seem that clean but I did see some folks in there. Kinda seemed like the thermostat didn't work? It got pretty warm in our room but we opened a window. The curtains need to be longer so the room can actually get dark. Overall good stay and I'd come back.

Awesome Place to Stay
Easy Check-in, easy to communicate with! Comfortable beds and convenient location to town! We were able to walk up to enjoy dinner and shopping each night! Only 17 minutes from Ski Cooper! We will be back again next year!!

Don’t believe the add for this pkace
The room was without and cup for drinking water, brushing teeth, nothing. The motel.com said there was a breakfast included, there wasn’t. The Delaware Hotel has a hot tub, it was not available for, as nor was a continental breakfast. On the second morning, I am a 71 year old woman, the manager at the Delaware told me “no breakfast and talked down tone as though I was a homeless person trying to get a free meal. He was very unkind and challenged me to show him where the reservation stated anything about breakfast. At that point, I was in tears.

We are sorry for your stay. The hot tub is available and was during your stay. Glasses were available at the coffee station in the hallway, and we brought them to you when requested. We do not offer free breakfast and it is not advertised on Hotels.com. As an owner, I did not talk down to you as you were being rude to our servers, I only tried to explain we do not offer free breakfast.

Comfortable, no hassle.
Super-comfortable, ultra clean room, looked new, minimalist decor. Very comfortable bed. The windows open for fresh air! Couldn’t ask for more.

It was adequate. Was hard to find with NO sign, address on the the wrong side of building to park, NO reecepption and no signs to help get in. So first part rocky, the rest was adequate.

Expensive Stay & Awful Bedding
The Inn is poorly constructed and hard to locate due to a no street signage. Despite the trendy decor, the furnishings are very cheap The bed and pillows are uncomfortable, and the sheets are made of cheap synthetic material. The price of $160/night is not justified, especially when Leadville (for most of us) is a quick stop on a roadtrip.

This hotel gave us the wrong room and a couple walked into our room as we were undressing and the staff was unapologetic and blamed us for being in the wrong room!! So do all rooms have the same code??? They told us that was our room. How could we make up the correct 6 digit code? You’re more likely to be eaten by a shark. Then they continued to lock us out of our room by changing the code with all our belongings inside. The bedspread had wet blood on it when we entered the room for the first time. Were the previous guests attacked?? Terrible response from the hotel - an $800 stay where we had to barricade the door and remove the bed covering for our safety and they only refunded $200. And no A/C in Colorado in the middle of summer. I’m a platinum member so needless to say I have stayed at far safer and cleaner accommodations in my 20 years of business and leisure travel. I will never stay here again. Very expensive for terrible customer service. They care more about your money than your safety.

Hello, Mary. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for the difficulties you encountered regarding your room code. I can, however, assure you that the codes assigned to our guests are specifically generated for the individual reservation, meaning that no two rooms (nor two guests) are provided the same code. Our rooms also feature an additional security measure which provides our guests the option to bolt another lock from the inside of their room. In Colorado it is common for hotels to not have air conditioning in guest rooms. We wish you well, Mary.

Sound insulation can be improved. You can clearly hear what people are saying in the next room or the hallway. The outer doors could have return springs so they self close. Instructions about the availability of the coffee makers (are they public use or private) would be helpful.

Area is on the south side of town adjacent to the highway. Many of buildings appear to be run down but due to the nature of this old town it is common. The exterior of this motel looks average but the room was nicely rehabbed. painted, very clean, and had new fixtures including the bed.

Clean and cute but no AC
The property itself was clean and seemed to have recently undergone a renovation with nice furnishings. I visited on one of the hottest days of the summer and only chose this location as they advertised air conditioning. Well, I was in for quite the disappointment as there was a thermostat on the wall but no actual air conditioning. Their solution was a mini fan, though the air is impossible to get circulated as there is a covered porch with no ability to open windows. Has to leave and drive 3+ hours home as the room was still over 80 degrees at 8 pm. Thankfully, they did refund the stay but just a warning for others who require this amenity. Any other time of the year I'm sure it's just fine but was way too hot mid July.

Queen #109 was clean, quite, and comfortable. But I am NOT a fan of their self service setup. Although I received the room code prior to arrival, I did not receive the wifi password until the second day and the checkout link until hours after I had left. Don't know if issue was with inn or Expedia on timeliness of communications.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There were no drinking glasses. No staff on site. No information listing, i. e. pass word. No ice available. One small coffee machine in outside hallway for all units. Thin walls allows noise. One frig and microwave for all units. Tiny fan for cooling. White noise machine did not work. TV was in wrong place for viewing. And the price was extremely high!
