Even better than the pics!
This property is stunning. The house is beautiful and secluded yet close to town and Ski Cooper. We had everything we needed to cook with in the kitchen and everything was clean when we arrived. We will definitely stay here again.

Awesome weekend trip.
House was in a great location, spacious rooms, and the views were incredible. Only complaint is some of the details in the listing are left out only until after you have booked/paid which led to some additional surprise fees. Overall a pretty decent stay for the price!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. When booking, you are asked to check a box if you are bringing a pet. You are also provided a rental agreement before you finalize the booking, which specifies that there is a $100 pet fee. I am sorry that you misunderstood the pet fee, but we must collect this fee for our owners to cover additional wear and tear and cleaning of the home over time due to pets!

Spectacular view
Nine guests age 0 to 80 enjoyed our recent stay. There was plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. The house was clean and looked just like the pictures online showed.

Peacefully Perfect
The Mountain Majesty property provided our family and friends with the perfect weekend getaway. The views are spectacular! The property has plenty of room for everyone with all the amenities. Highly recommend!!!

Family home on gorgeous property
Our stay was a family reunion of sorts and this home was very comfortable for all of us. All adults had their own bedrooms and the bunk bed room and downstairs family room provided plenty of space for the kids. The property is gorgeous and the location was perfect for us. A quick drive to the Safeway and downtown Leadville, as well as Turquoise Lake and plenty of hikes, made it very convenient. Renters should be aware that almost all of the bathrooms were Jack and Jill, so you will be sharing with the adjoining bedroom. Truly a lovely place to stay!

Great Place - Needs some attention to detail
This cabin is probably one of the most amazing cabins in the area with great views and very spacious - good layout and easy to get to and extremely close to Leadville. However, the cabin was not cleaned very well, floors were dirty, bathrooms were dirty and some of the linens were stained. Those things happen and I expect the owners will fix that. But the one thing I can't get over is how nasty and old and worn out the grill is. For a cabin this nice, for the price you charge, PLEASE for God's sake, spend some money on a decent grill. Not only for your guests sake, but for YOUR sake, the grill as is is a major fire hazard (it has accumulated smut and oil residue that can catch on fire). If you want pictures, i can send them to you. Other than that, the cabin and location are wonderful. These suggestions would only make it better.

The View!
This is our second time staying in the house. We really enjoyed the updates that have been made! This home is perfect for large groups with the king beds and kids bunk beds. It is clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and relaxing in the living room after a long day of skiing. The best part of this house is the breathtaking view, it is stunning!!! We can't wait to come back next year! Thank you for a great stay!

Family reunion
We enjoyed our weekend trip at the cabin! It was the perfect space for our little family reunion. Enough beds for everyone. Enough space at the table for everyone. Hot tub was lovely. Grill was very useful. Views from the deck are SPECTACULAR. We all had an amazing time. There’s a tubing place near by (Dutch Henry Hill) and a place for skiing and snowboarding (SkiCooper) if anyone’s looking for things to do in Leadville.

Can't wait to come back!
We loved the property. It's extremely spacious and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone and not feel like cramped in the least. The views were spectacular! My only recommendations would be: Cleaning company - move living room furniture when cleaning the floors. There was a lot of lint and hair under the furniture. I would also recommend providing more high quality "spa" like amenities for the bathrooms, including soap, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, q-tips/cotton balls. Maybe invest in a local business to provide these types of products? That extra detail would go a long way. Summary: FANTASTIC PROPERTY, GREAT COMMUNICATION -- we'll be back! :)

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We have just had a complete deep clean of the property including underneath furniture, pots/pans, oven, grill, windows, and ceiling fans! We apologize for the lint and hair. We have considered higher-end amenities but this cost would need to be added to the cleaning/ restocking fee. We try to keep extra fees at a minimum so that our guests can make their own decisions regarding these items. We hope to host your next stay in Lake County!

Fabulous View
We were very pleased with the property (could have used a little more cleaning), but overall we rate it 5 stars. You can not top the view from this home! It is a very short drive to town, but feels very remote once you get to the house. The house is very spacious and is set up great for large groups (we had seven adults). The walk down to the river looks intimidating, but really was not too hard, even for those of us who were 50 and up. Thank you so much for sharing your home with those of us who live in the flatlands (Missouri), so we can enjoy the spectacular mountain view.

Mountain Majesty is magnificent!
What a view off the back deck! We booked this property as a base camp for our hikes up Mt. Elbert and Massive and low and behold, both peaks are prominently displayed off the deck! From check in to check out our stay was very enjoyable. Tracy was very helpful and prompt in answering any questions about the property. We definitely recommend Mountain Majesty to anyone planning outdoor activities near Leadville.

Great snowboarding trip!
Had a blast with some friends for a snowboarding trip. Fireplace and hot tub were used daily and were perfect. Everything about this house is great! Downstairs bunks definitely more suited for kids than adults, but otherwise a great place and plan to return!

Picture Perfect
This property was perfect for our multi-family Christmas retreat! Super close to Ski Cooper, which is where we spent our days. Plenty of room to spread out! The kitchen was great and the large table was great for family meals! The beds were all big and super comfy and the owners were very quick to respond. The addition of the hot tub was AMAZING! Would definitely stay here again!

Only problem was the new hot tub, but we were not planning to use it. As we left, it appeared they were about to work on that ussue. Overall, excellent

I loved the views, l also liked that it was a short walk to the river. It was nice having the 4 bathrooms. The kids loved that there was toys there to play with. It would have been nice to have a fire pit Outside though.

Brilliant location
Our family of 5 had a great stay at the house. It is in a fabulous secluded location yet only a few mins from town. The view is amazing and kitchen is so setup. Beds are comfy and has everything you could need. Only suggestion would be some chairs out on the deck so we could enjoy the view from outside. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place!
This is the 2nd year that we have stayed at this location. Fantastic location and more than enough room for everyone. The home is clean and a short drive to town, yet only 10 minutes to Ski Cooper. The rental group is extremely helpful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is interested.

Outstanding!
This house was just wonderful for our group! Our party consisted of 8 adults, 2 preteens, a 10 year old and a toddler. It fit us just perfectly. The bunk room was great for the kids! They even provided toys for our toddler! The upstairs was equally wonderful. A large living space and table that everyone could sit at. We really enjoyed the king size beds for the adults as well. There are plenty of bathrooms and the hot water did not run out. The location was also perfect for us. It is secluded, yet close to everything. We came to ski at Ski Cooper which is just a short drive from the house. Leadville is also close. We enjoyed going to dinner a couple nights. The best part of this house is the view! It is just breathtaking! Pictures would never do it justice. We plan to return next year!

family ski trip
Perfect place for our family of 12, ages 2-60. We skied 2 days at Ski Cooper and tubed at Copper the 3rd day. Leadville is very close by and convenient for supplies. The residents there all seemed friendly and eager to please. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The views are spectacular! The beds all had thick memory foam toppers that seemed pretty uncomfortable. 2 were removed and replaced before we checked out. All in all, the place had everything we would be looking for for a group trip like this. I might suggest a few upgrades but it's good for a few days.

Wonderful all around
Gorgeous property located just minutes from shopping and views. Magnificent views right off the back deck! Leadville is a charming little town and its about 30 minutes from Frisco and Breckenridge which was a plus for us. Skiing just right down the road as well. Perfect for the whole family and the cabin was beautiful, well kept, with enough room to spread out! Would most definitely book again!

Beautiful place to stay
The view from this house is amazing! The house was very nice and accommodating. Had all the dishes, cleaning supplies, towels and extra blankets we needed. The main floor is on the second story, but allows for a beautiful view when cooking in the kitchen, eating in the dinning area or lounging in the living room. We would definitely stay here again!

Best house for R & R
The directions to get to the house were easy to follow. Everything we could possibly need was already there in the house, and the best part for us- cabinets and light switches all labeled. We did accidentally set the smoke alarms off despite trying to take precautions, as we were warned, with the fan and cooking breakfast, but the owners were extremely easy to get a hold of. We took advantage of hiking down to the river to sit and enjoy. The house is close to town and the lake but makes you feel like you are secluded. We had 3 teens with us on this trip and they enjoyed having a space to get away from the adults with the huge space in the basement. The deck was amazing!! We sat out there for sunset, sunrise, and any moment we could to soak in the million dollar views of Mt Massive and Mt Elbert. The house has a wood burning fireplace, which we did not use. The dining room table was extremely large for all us to comfortably sit around for meals and play games. The beds were comfortable, and again, plenty of space for 2 families to move around in. This house was the answer to this hectic nurse’s schedule! We will definitely try to book here again, and for a much longer stay!! Thank you for sharing your home!

Initially we had some problems locating the property as we arrived at night. I made a call to the property manager and they expertly escorted me to the property without any issues. Once I arrived at the property the accommodations were exactly as pictured. The view and the deck make this property absolutely worth it. I love how many bathrooms and showers were at the property I will 100% stay here again.

Mountain Majesty Stay
We were able to enjoy this wonderful home shortly before the Covid 19 outbreak. The home was exactly what we were needing. The only thing that could have made it better was a hot tub. The views were amazing and we loved having coffee and watching the beautiful sunrise. Hope to stay here again.

Met All Expectations
Family friendly, spacious cabin that was all we were hoping for. We were pleasantly surprised to find 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs with plenty of bathrooms for our group. The location was a huge plus, being close to town but still being far enough away to give it that secluded feel. We would definitely rent the cabin again and hope to do so next year!

Mountain retreat for family gathering
