Highly recommend! I couldn’t be happier with our stay. Super clean, updated, cozy and a walk away from town. Booking was easy, affordable and excellent communication.

Cozy cabin perfect for our family
This cabin was great for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was useful for us to cook meals but the cabin is also walking distance to many restaurants in downtown Leadville. Loved the privacy of the hot tub! We will be coming back again for our next ski trip to Cooper!

Cozy cabin
Cozy and comfortable cabin. Great location and we took full advantage of using the hot tub. Over all the place is little with no lounge area, but with young kids we had fun snuggling up on the king bed for a movie and games at the kitchen table. Good closet space to store ski gear, food, and clothing.

Lovely Leadville getaway!
We had a great time staying here. We were in Cabin A during Thanksgiving, and were in the area to ski at Copper Mountain. Only a 25/30 minute drive for us to and from the mountain which was lovely. The space was clean and cozy, had everything we needed, and was located in a lovely part of Leadville (just off of Main Street). The cabin is old, so there’s a little slant in the floors, but it was nothing that bothered us too much. 5/5, we’d most certainly stay again!

Perfect little cabin with access to Colorado Mountains
We stayed at Cabin A at the Mountain Peaks Motel and had a wonderful stay. The cabin was cozy and charming; it was well styled and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also great, right at the end of the main street and easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants in Leadville. The hot tub after long days of hiking/climbing was a plus! This cabin will be my go-to venue for future trips to Leadville. Thank you to Ting and Team for great communication and Service

Basic -- But You Weren't Coming Here To Stay In All Day
Pretty small, clean, uneven floors property. If you are planning to stay in all day, not for you. But why would you come to Leadville to not leave the room? Super close to everything, good parking. Great option if you don't require luxury.

Runners retreat in Leadville
Great place. Perfect for a quick running trip. Cozy and the host even left us a grab bag of snacks and items runners might need (sunscreen, etc). Very thoughtful!

This property was very well appointed inside. Would be great for multiple days. I didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but it did look very clean and fresh. The location of the cabin was unusual and the floors were pretty unlevel but these things did not affect our enjoyment of it.

Very cute little home at the end of town
Overall, very nice and clean. The outside isn't much to look at but they've done a great job with updating the inside. The home is very small, but we knew that going in. The beds were comfy, and everything was very clean. Would have been nice to have some ice trays in the freezer so we could have made some ice. Overall, very good though. Great location at the end of main street.

Comfortable stay perfect for hiking
While our visit was short, the cabin was perfect for my daughter and I to have a comfortable place to sleep to prepare for and recover from our long Mt. Elbert hike, and the hot tub provided a needed soak for our tired muscles. The hosts provided a lovely care package upon arrival with some mountain essentials some might have forgotten, which was such a nice gesture and really meant so much. The cabin has everything you need, from kitchen utensils all the way on up to disposable slippers! We will definitely be returning on our next trip to add Mt. Massive to our list of 14ers.

Perfect place to enjoy Leadville
We stayed here for a girl's trip to Leadville. The location of the property was perfect to enjoy downtown Leadville by foot - walking distance to the wonderful shops and restaurants. After dinner, we enjoyed the hot tub on the property. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was well appointed with all the things we needed and wanted for our stay. The property manager was able to accommodate our request for a late checkout so we could enjoy a leisurely morning before departing.

Well kept but overpriced
It was well kept (but small) with all the essentials, but extremely overpriced for not having any couch or common area to hang out. We had to sit on hard chairs around a dining table. We stayed three weeknights between Christmas and new years and when I mentioned the price on Google reviews as too high, the owner responded that it was a fair market price for New Years weekend (we checked out the morning of the 31st). Over $1000 for three nights for a property that small, in a very old structure with sloping floors, and no common area other than a dining table does not seem fair to me. Unfortunately, it was one of the better options in Leadville, where it appears the two short term rental companies are benefiting from rules about no new licenses so they can jack up the prices.

Hey Mary, 1. This listing never advertised as a unit with a couch. the pictures of the listing is taken inside the actual room, and none of it shown it has a couch because it doesn’t. 2. The price of the listing is always transparent since you have to pay before booking is confirmed. You can see the itemized price when you pay. If it’s too expensive in your opinion, you can always choose not to book. 3. Yes the price varies based on the local supply and demand. The dates during Christmas/New Year are the most expensive dates for the entire winter season. Again you always have an option not to book this listing if you are unhappy with the price… 4. The reason why city of Leadville has a STR limit is not so property management companies can Jack up the price, with a limit for STR licenses, we can have more long term housing for local staff. Housing is a constant struggle in the mountains, but it’s not us as motel owner’s fault since motels are meant for short term stays. 5. Just look at any house for sale on the market in Leadville, average sale price is over $350 per SQFT. We are not getting filthy rich by renting out this 2bedroom cabin for 300+ a night over Christmas/ New Year’s holiday weekend, it simply covers the cost of doing business here, housing is extremely expensive in the mountains especially when it’s close to the skiing resorts. We pay 29% in commercial property tax every year, again this is just part of doing business here. I’m sorry you don’t think the price is fair for a 2 bedroom cabin without a couch or a living room. Just figured I’d provide my thoughts on this so hopefully you will understand where the price comes from. We’d love to put a couch inside the unit, but as you mentioned, the unit is not very big and we simply can’t find an appropriate space for the couch. Housing is a constant struggle in the mountains, for visitors and for long term residents. But unfortunately this is not a problem me as a small motel owner can solve. We are just running our business the best we can and make a living. Sorry you found this not fair for you….

Flew out to hike with my adult kids & this was perfect! Within walking distance of town & very close to many 14er’s in the area. Definitely would stay there again.

Easy, well-located stay
Our stay was great! The place is very clean and had solid amenities. Nice to have a big bed to crash in while being in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Host was very responsive if we had questions, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice for hiking or exploring
Clean and close to town. Close to Elbert Mountain. Easy communication with property owner/manager. Bathroom is small. Beds were soft and cozy and nice after a days hike. Location is off of the main road but is in an alley way. Good for a weekend.
