Winter family weekend

Winter ski trip

2 families stayed and fit us all well. The property is well kept and had everything you'd need for yor stay. Ski resort is right next door. We definitely would come back

Fun getaway

The location of the property was very convenient to Deadwood. Property was nice size for us and another couple. Very nice hot tub. Overall really comfortable.

Pictures a Bit Deceiving

The pictures led us to believe that this property was a lot nicer than it was and more secluded. The outside area was not nearly as visually pleasing as the pictures made it look. Everything in this property needed updating from the tvs (even though we didn’t spend a whole lot of time watching tv) to the kitchen (the coffee pot was HORRENDOUS and the dish towels and dish cloths were pathetic. Have you ever heard of Walmart?) In the game room, which we did enjoy to the fullest of its capabilities, there was only one usable pool stick and even it was slightly broken. The dart board was also broken. A few rugs in the main living room area and the bathroom would go a long way. Complimentary soap in the shower would have been nice. The hot tub was nice, though a few pieces were loose or slightly broken. The pictures alluded to some form of seclusion which did not exist; the neighbors sounded like they were right next to you, and there was construction right nearby. The barbecue grill was a health hazard. It had to be deep cleaned to be safe to cook on and the front burners did not work at all. For the amount paid for a property like this we had higher expectations. A few positives, the beds were comfortable and the furniture was decent.The AC worked. The fire put out off a great flame. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly. In spite of it all we had a great vacation.

Perfect back-up

Original house wasn’t keeping heat so management adjusted us here and were gracious enough to allow the dogs still, no up charge at all. Was the right size with nice beds and plenty of room. Also close to the ski hill and still had the king bed we had wanted in the original place. Kinda missed having a real fireplace but can’t complain, we were plenty warm.

Cozy cabin

Bed downstairs was very comfortable, and the fireplace was an added bonus. The hot tub was perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing or trail riding. Game room was a huge hit - played a few games of pool while watching football. Had a few visitors every morning or evening - a whitetail doe and her 2 babies. Alot of room for our 2 dogs - the front/side yard was perfect to play fetch and wear off some energy. Overall, we really liked this place and will definitely stay again.

Cabin in Lead

It was a nice cabin for our last minute get away. We enjoyed the game room and wrap around deck. It was close enough to Deadwood for us to easily attend the Kool Night car show.

A bit out dated, hot tub Dont work, basement very cold-management company bad

It looks pretty darn good in the photos but not the same in person. Biggest problem for us was hot tub was cold, I notified the manager, they told me to reset the circuit breaker but of course that did nothing. They never did come attempt to fix it which sucks as that’s why we rented the place so we could sit in a hot tub after a day of skiing. The first night we had a crazy loud noise in the attic and the house shook every 5-10 seconds, come to find out it was a tree pushing on the roof of the house so we slept like crap that first night. The basement fireplace does not work and EXTREMELY COLD down there. The manager still has not replied to me about the basement fireplace issue. All in all I would never recommend this place nor this management company to anyone.

AMAZING LOCATION

Very cozy place with comfy beds. Extremely convenient for Terry peak activities! Basic kitchen supplies for eating in. Hot tub was not working for the first half of our trip. Game room is nice but is treated as a separate space when it comes to a cleaning fee so we didn’t use it. Overall it was a nice stay for our family

Black Hills Stay

We had a great stay at this property. The queen bed is the the lower level area was comfortable. This is a good location for the ski area in fact its right at it. It would be great for Deadwood or Sturgis also or for the black hills also. It is a little ways off for the badlands or custer state park, but is doable. The hot tub was good and we had some local deer the came by every night.

50th Birthday celebration

Cabin was roomy enough for the 6 of us. I may have not read the location information well, but there are only 2 rooms with doors. While it states it sleeps 10, there is only 1 king in the basement, 1 queen upstairs, 2 full (those have the doors) and a hide a bed in the game room-detached from the main house, where there is no toilet. Needs a little maintenance outside.
