    The Space:

    Make Lost Buffalo Lodge your Black Hills gathering place — a 3-bedroom home just a quarter-mile from the lodge at Terry Peak Ski Area, welcoming you back from daily excursions with a private hot tub, a gas firepit, and beautiful woodland views. Set on relatively flat, easy-access roads with one of the few yards in the development, it offers lofty ceilings, two living areas, and a well-equipped kitchen, plus a covered patio with a gas firepit and grill you can use in any weather.



    Soak in the lower-level walkout hot tub, and turn in among three bedrooms and a loft with flexible sleeping across all three levels. With Lead, Deadwood, and the Black Hills' attractions in every direction, it's an ideal ski-and-summer basecamp for friends and family.

The house was in a great location, easy to get to, and perfect for families! The home was clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and even spices and coffee. Plenty of towels, blankets, and amenities! We would absolutely stay here again!

Great accommodations!

Very clean, plenty of room for our family of 8. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games and things to do. Also the mattresses were very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was perfectly arranged for our Son and grandson having their own space from us and kitchen was well stocked. Super close to Terry Peak where they spent most of their time. There is a weird whistling sound in the mechanical room coming from the hot water heater we think and it is loud enough to wake you up in the night. Overall everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay! Also the game room and hot tub was a bonus!!!

Lost Buffalo Lodge Getaway

The rental was centrally located for our planned sightseeing. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. And a pleasant surprise to see that the counter height table and chairs in the dining area had been replaced with a traditional table and seating. The house was very clean and the beds were all very comfortable. We would definitely stay at Lost Buffalo Lodge again.

Good vacation home.

We loved the location and the parking was perfect. We had two trucks with 24” trailers, one car and 4 side by sides (utvs). Everything fit perfectly. Quiet safe neighborhood. We would stay again!

Beautiful location, clean and just lovely!

We loved this beautiful home in the heart of the Black Hills! It was picturesque, centrally located to the activities we planned and just lovely. It was very clean and provided us with more than enough space to spend time together but not in top of each other!

Lost Buffalo Lodge

Here’s a quick, positive post you could use: --- We just wrapped up an amazing stay at the cabin last week, and I can’t say enough about how relaxing and peaceful it was! The views were breathtaking, the air was fresh, and every morning started with coffee on the porch listening to nature. The cabin had everything we needed—cozy, clean, and perfectly tucked away for some much-needed downtime. Already counting the days until we can go back!

All in all a good place to stay was in a good location for our vacation. Drawback of the cabin, wasn’t enough sitting out on the deck for 10 people to hang out on, the clothes dryer needs some attention had to dry clothes a couple times to get them dry.

Just right. Great location only a couple blocks from the Stewart Lodge (a little to far to walk in ski boots) Home is in great condition, nice hot tub, over all good experience.

Amazing

My family, and I had a amazing time at the cabin. It had everything you would need. It had a lot of space for everyone. Enjoyed the out side jacuzzi. It was about 1 hour from mt. Rushmore, not a bad drive.

JUST PERFECT .

Everything was so nice. All of the extras, we didn't need to worry about a thing. We really loved the garage, huge grill, washer/dryer coffee and maker , toaster, large skillet. My family would definitely go here again, so comfortable, very, very, clean. You won't be disappointed.

Sturgis Rally 2022

We had a group of 9 staying in the house. We loved the house. They had everything we needed. Including fans. Conveniently located to all the excitement in Sturgis, Deadwood, etc. Would rent again.

Wonderful house

Great location. Hot tub was hot and clean. Well stocked kitchen. Good amount of amenities including extra linens and towels. Garage is setup for games which was nice. Does have keurig in kitchen. Only complaint was squeaky whine noise in basement when water was used in house.

Roomy cabin with all the amenities

Plenty of space for my wife and I along with our two 21 and 22 year old kids. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi. With three levels, we had plenty of space and two bathrooms proved vital. Full kitchen was great so we didn’t have to eat out if we wanted to save some money. Location was also nice. We were about an hour and a half of most things we wanted to do - Devils Tower, Rushmore, and many hiking trails.
