The unpredictability of fall weather has caused us to be overly cautious with outside amenities. Twice we got caught with a deck full of furniture when it snowed a couple feet making removal a major ordeal. So, as mentioned on our site, we did store some of the deck furniture. Just a week before this stay, a foot was predicted. Once it comes, at our altitude it doesn't melt. It was great to host this family. We hope to again in the future.

Upon closer inspection of our VRBO listing, you will find that while there are 67 amenities provided, AC is not one of them. Rare is the time when the cool evening temps will not reduce inside temps considerably if guests follow the posted suggested directions for using the fan to exhaust warm inside air while pulling in cool air thru opened windows. The grill is not all that old. I will readily admit it is not high-end as we have had to repair and replace grills in the past due to guest operators not following posted instructions. The more high end the grill, the more opportunities for operator error. I am almost 300 pounds and don't have issues in the bathroom. Again, inspection of the listing shows that there are 700 sq ft. of cabin floorspace. It is indeed a cabin, not a home. If you care to get in touch by phone, text or email we would be interested in hearing any other ways you felt we fell short. We are always trying to offer a fair stay for our price range. We have never had a 3 rating and only 1 to 2 4 ratings annually. The rest are 5's. Perhaps this would best be accomplished upon you return home since I did not have very good luck getting any responses to my attempts at making contact while you were traveling. We're always open to suggestions.

Thx for choosing Maitland Legacy. Understand your desire for a larger bed. We wish the size of the bedroom would accommodate. We actually tried one, but there was not sufficient roon on either side of the bed with that size.

We have very few nights when we need AC. Should have had the large fan available for you to use as an exhaust to push hot air out and draw in cooler outside evening air from the other windows. I apologize for not having it available for you. The person who came into clean was wowed by the great condition you left the cabin. Thank you.
