Lovely bach in peaceful surroundings
The house is cosy and inviting with a nice big garden. We enjoyed watching all the different birds through the windows. We love Le Bons (husband and I got married on the beach there 5 years ago) but it's a bit of a trek from Christchurch so it was wonderful to stay for the weekend and we would love to stay at this Bach again sometime.

Perfect holiday home and trip away
Super impressed by the gorgeous home in Le Bons Bay, for the price the house is very beautifully set up with everything you need - the fire place was the highlight for us!! It’s just a 25 min drive to Akaroa and close to many areas on the peninsula to explore, Le Bons Bay is a lovely beach area. Comfy beds, all self service and self cleaning etc which is expected at this low rate. And very important to us to bring our dog on holiday so this ticked all boxes. Thank you very much for the stay! Also, I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time!

Feels like home
Such a great wee house love how my dog can come and stay! Second time staying here worth every cent!! Only downfall is the water pump is loud at night so bring some ear plugs. Other then that sooooo amazing

Relaxing Hideaway
My three sisters and I were delighted with Secluded Stream Side Bungalow. It is a light and pleasing property. All the beds were extremely comfortable. It is cosy as well as having plenty of room. Very peaceful and we came way feeling rested.

Hidden Gem
Property was well equipped with everything that anyone would need. Property matched the pics, the birdlife in the morning was music to our ears, was so good to get away from the city life of Christchurch to the peace and quiet of Streamside. Was close to Akaroa and Le Bons Bay beach. Wish we stayed longer.

Hi Tim, we do state in the property description to bring towels and sheets. Regarding the water, we collect rain water and this is then put through a UV filter so perfectly safe to drink. Thanks

Beautiful home away from home
What a lovely spot to be based at for a break, the hosts have certainly put a lot of thought into making it a lovely comfortable place to stay, but have still retained the bach feel, not to far a drive to the beach and domain which is a awesome spot to have a picnic and a great base for exploring other bays while taking in the awesome views of the Akaroa harbour, we would certainly stay here again.

Little bit of paradise
What a lovely spot to stay - plenty of room for our two couples to enjoy time away from the rat race. The bay itself is rather lovely and would be magic on a warm day (at least we didn't have rain). Added bonus of seeing some seals and dolphins! Given the weather wasn't very spring-like, it was lovely to have a fire to keep us warm as we played board games and chatted over beers and gins. Would thoroughly recommend this bach for a weekend getaway.

Peaceful location
My partner and I had a lovely stay here, the local beach is beautiful. It was nice to get away from the noise of the city and instead enjoy plenty of bird sounds. The house has plenty of heating and is very cosy.

Roomy Retreat
We were looking for a dog friendly place to stay for an Adult family get together to honour the tenth anniversary of my husbands transition to spirit. This home met all our needs. Walks on the beach, fishing off the rocks, big sunny deck, fairly well fenced, well supplied kitchen equipment, comfy beds, good lounge and fire. good hot water and extra heaters. Well detailed key process.

Lovely in the sunshine
The house was nicely decorated, clean and welcoming. There were a few things that were not ideal: the microwave out in the laundry, the logburner only putting out heat with the door open, and the water pump just behind the master bedhead. The stream was a bit more difficult to access than we had expected, and the sheep living there was an interesting surprise for our dog. The overall feel of the house made it a pleasant place to be in the sunshine, and it was lovely to be able to bring our dog with us.

Just what we needed
Property was very clean, tidy, beautiful garden for my daughter to run around, had a cot and the rooms were very inviting. The living area was perfect size and the fire warm. Very please with everything that the accomodation had to offer and everything was comfortable. Very homely place.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, würden gerne wiederkommen. Sicherheitshalber sollte man allerdings nicht nur alle Lebensmittel, sondern auch Gewürze im Gepäck haben, denn bis zum Supermarkt in Akaroa sind es 15 Kilometer. In der Beschreibung bei FeWo-direkt gibt es einen Fehler. Bettwäsche und Handtücher müssen mitgebracht und das Haus muss am Ende vom Gast gereinigt werden.

Not what it appears to be
Due to the reek of dampness throughout the house we left after just one night. Arrived on a 28degree day and no aircon to cool the house - inside it felt like 40degrees and the humidity and stench so unpleasant, I had breathing difficulties during the night (never had that problem in my life). 'Damp rid' bags (3/4 full of water) in every wardrobe together with dehumidifiers. House was generally tidy but furniture grubby and DVD player only worked up to 20mins into each movie we started to watch. Photos do not give a true impression. Emailed the host and sent reminder asking for a response but have not heard back - totally disappointed and wouldn't recommend.

Lovely Vacation Home
We loved our two week stay at this wonderful Pocono Lake home. It was the perfect home for our family. It was so clean with comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, enticing hot tub, and great ambiance. It’s in a great location to take advantage of all that the Poconos offer. Ginni was a fantastic host. We will surely be back.

Akaroa Getaway
Unfortunately my Mum couldn't join me as planned but Bob and I had a very very nice stay at Streamside. We enjoyed the decent selection of DVD's and found the house warm and well set up. Thank you so much for having us. Hopefully once Mum gets better we may come and stay again.
