"3rd time at Bennys. Such a comfortable house, extremely clean and warm. Village has one shop, a chippy and a pub. Only 10 min walk from the Wetlands, which is great for my, birdwatching hubby. Bathroom downstairs. All amenities are easy to use. Very relaxing for us in our 70s. Communication from Cottages.com is excellent.Highly recommended."

"We had such a lovely stay at Maple Lodge. The location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature which made it the perfect place to switch off and unwind. "This was our second visit to this lovely cottage. It is very quaint and cosy. The setting is very peaceful - lots of birds singing and rabbits in the field. There is a busy road next to the cottage but that didn’t detract from the feeling of tranquility. The hot tub is fabulous. It’s a great base to explore the local area. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Although no parking is available outside the front of the cottage, we had no problem parking in the road outside under the bridge as suggested. "Absolutely beautiful little cottage! Perfect for what we wanted and fully enclosed garden for our little dog! Nice and roomy for the two of us who fancied a few days seeing the sights of York. "Sue was lovely. The hut was cute and cosy. Sue had left us milk tea coffee sugar wine biccys and she other essentials. It was a very sweet touch.The hot tub was amazing.
