This apartment is very spacious and has all of the items you'd need to cook in the large kitchen. The location is unbeatable! The bedrooms overlook the street so it can get pretty loud. The host provides white noise machines in the rooms, which help.

Overall, we loved the place. It has a great downtown vibe but of course that comes with some late night noise. We didn’t mind as we liked being close to everything Lawrence has to offer. We would definitely stay there again

The place was clean and walking distance to most things. It's right on a busy street with bars and the noise level is high until early in the AM. Probably not a good fit for a family with young kids

Location was wonderful, but noisy at night. There was a loud argument late one night ( homeless people or students??), but police quickly responded.Apartment is located on the 2nd floor - the stairway is very steep and may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. This was not included in the description of the unit.One room did not have a horizontal bar in the closet to hang clothes; bathroom doorknob loose and wobbly; our personal electronic key code to enter the apartment initially DID NOT work nor did we have internet service. Eventually the key code worked, but not for the full time we were there - had to use the physical key to enter. Eventually internet service was activated later in the evening after we arrived.Beds were very comfortable; unit was clean but bathroom walls could use touch up paint. We did not use the kitchen.There is a 3-ring binder on the entryway table with information (restaurants, wifi password, etc) but some of the papers were old and crumpled.....Obviously a minor issue but gave a poor first impression, especially after the electronic key code not working.

GREAT location! My band was on tour and had a show in Lawerence. Looked for a VRBO and found this gem only 2 blocks from the bar we were playing at. Spent the day walking up and down Massachusetts St. We found lots of cool shops, the best coffee/bakery place directly downstairs and an unreal restaurant where we indulged in all the food including pie. Perfect place. Exactly what we were looking for and needed. We would love to go back to Lawrence and would definitely pick this place again if available.

Great location

If you know Lawrence, you already know what a fun location this is for food and enjoying downtown. If you don't know Lawrence, be prepared for some night time noises. We didn't mind the noise, didn't keep us up and mostly made us jealous we couldn't join!

Cozy, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated!!

My 18 year old son and I stayed 2 nights for KU freshman orientation. Close to campus and right in the heart of Mass Street shops and restaurants. It was perfect!

A Location

Property was sufficient for what we needed. Family of 3, enough room and things available to make a comfy stay. The beauty in this place is the location. I dont think you could ask for a better spot in town. Park the car and walk everywhere you could want to go. Great food, shops, entertainment are mere steps away. Will be back

Don’t stay here!

The noise level from the street is exceedingly LOUD. Vehicle engine noise and sidewalk pedestrian voices reverberate up off the brick building street corridors directly into the bedrooms. Vulgar, profane shouts from the bar crowd are frequent. Impossible to sleep until 1:30am. Also, apartment is not nearly as nice as the pictures suggest. There are safety concerns regarding flimsy door locks as well. Very poor experience - not recommended.

Loved the old downtown building and original stone walls!

The property is very nice, clean and spacious. Great communication and very rapid replies to all questions! Would be 5 stars except the listing does not say there are very steep stairs to access the unit. It was difficult for 3 older adults (65-68 yrs old) to go up and down the stairs with bad knees and luggage. Please update the listing with that critical piece of info so those of us that are older can be sure we understand that. I'm certain it is not an issue for younger guests.

Nice Place

Very clean, plenty of room. It’s on the busiest street in town with lots of foot traffic, so there is some noise. But that being said, the location outweighs any foot traffic noise. Very convenient spot.
