Fabulous wooded property
This is a great location for exploring the Hocking Hills area. House was perfect for 3 adults but would easily be good for a family or 3 couples. Clean, a great front porch, low traffic road, and beautiful grounds.

Just what we needed
The house was very comfortable/homey. The quietness of the property was amazing! There was so much room! The owners have put a lot of thought into providing extras to make the stay very special, for example, firewood for the firepit and a karaoke machine for entertainment. My husband and I visited with our small dog.

I LOVE this place.
This property is beautiful and in a wonderful place. Trees, hills, birds signing. So quiet. Very clean and everything you need is there including corn hole game equipment. Groceries are close by and Kevin couldn't have been nicer. My dog fell in love with the place and had as much fun as we did. Read the bio. It's well worth it. You can see the quality of the folks managing this property when you do.

Great family friendly get-a-way
We spent a few days here for our kids’ spring break. Despite the rain, we had a great time. It’s close proximity to Hocking Hills State Park (15-20 minutes away) and dined at a couple of places in Logan, which was about 20 minutes away. The kids had fun playing in the creek and using the swing. They also enjoyed the shooting range. There was a nice covered porch to watch the rain. The house was stocked with everything we needed and everything inside was very nice. I would recommend this place to our family and friends.

Hidden Gem
We had a wonderful stay! We loved staying here and had a variety of entertainment to enjoy. We had fun playing in the creek, using the swing, karaoke machine, and exploring the property! We also enjoyed exploring a couple different trails that were only 10-20 minutes away. The property owners have great communication as well.

Spring break with family.
I came here for the 1st time 2 years ago with my mother and a friend As soon as i seen the property and the house i knew it would be a great place to bring my grandsons. This time i brought my daughters and there boys. We did several hikes, but the boys would have been happy never leaving the house. They played on the swings and in the creek everyday. The house had everything we needed . Hope we get to come back in the future🙂

Wonderful!
The house is very clean, comfortable, and has everything that you need. It looks just like the pictures and you won’t be disappointed. If you are bringing your dog, they even supply a large dog bed and some toys! The location is great. It’s only about 15 minutes away from Old Man’s cave and Ash Cave. Clear Creek Metro park is also near by. It was really nice to be able to go during the week when it wasn’t crowded and then have a short drive “home”. There is a grocery store about 10 minutes away. My 10 year old’s favorite part of the trip was the little stream on the property! He caught (and released) minnows, crayfish, salamanders, and a frog! The flowers were just starting to come up when we were there. I bet this place is just stunning when all the leaves in are and everything is creek. We didn’t get around to seeing Rock House or Cantwell Cliffs so we might be back next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

BEAUTIFUL property:)
We were so excited to stay here and definitely enjoyed our time! It is such a cozy home and is so close to hocking hills that it was a perfect location:) The small creek that runs in their backyard was so pretty and made the morning SO relaxing! Go and stay here!! The owners of the property were GREAT at communicating with us and made us feel so welcomed!

Hound Holler
Stayed with our two hounds. Good spot for them to enjoy some good smells. Getting there was interesting with the narrow, hilly roads but overall a good stay.

Perfect Place!
A weekend getaway as a couple with our dog. It was perfect, with thoughtful touches like a dog bed and dog toys. The bed was comfy, love the big screen tvs, stereo/sound bars, and camera system. We saw that the host said the wifi might be terrible but it worked great for us, even allowing us to stream on our Firestick! We hope to go back!

Cozy Getaway
Very clean and spacious home, perfect for 4-6! It snowed when we first arrived, making for a picturesque winter weekend getaway with the family. The firepit and firewood kept us warm outside despite the cold temperatures. We had a lot of fun putting together a puzzle and playing Hocking Hills-opoly! The kids loved exploring the little creek and hiking up the back hillside: 235 ft elevation gain! Thank you to our host for sharing such a lovely home. We definitely recommend.

Down in the Hollow
Gorgeous. Quiet. Peaceful. Great winter weekend getaway. Already planning to go back in the warmer weather to actually get to utilize the firepit and that swing! It was really cold and wet when we were there, so much of our time was spent inside with the fireplace, and viewing the outdoors. We did find a slice of time to utilize the shooting range, which is just perfect for target practice. The Karaoke mic was broke so no review. It feels like the middle of nowhere, however, you can be in Logan in about 20 minutes. I don't know about the others(just 2 of us) but that king size bed is DEVINE. Only bummer with bigger group would be one bathroom, but it's a small inconvenience. Lots of towels and the water is hot. Bring bean coffee to use the grinding coffee maker or prepare to be very patient with the one serve Keurig. The gas stove is amazing, fridge is very cold. Stocked with pans and dishes. Kitchen was A++ Entry and driveway is great. Plenty of room and wide for bigger rigs. Would definitely recommend 4wd in heavy winter, there is quite a little hill leaving that could be slick. Camera on driveway and pretty sure there is a ring camera at entry as well; great for security. Easy key entry with no interaction with owner. Very private. You will not be using your phone! ZERO cell service. (we had Verizon/Tmobile) There is also NO wifi or internet. None. I know, it's tragic. But also not why we're there. There is Direct TV with great service. And a land line.

Just what we needed
What a great spot! Everything is within 10 mins like all the major hikes. The house was tidy and cozy. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. The fireplace heats it up soooo nicely. We felt we had everything we needed. Can't wait to visit again! Highly recommend going during Thanksgiving the place was dead! We had most of the trails to ourselves!

Peace & quiet
This cabin was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, fully equipped kitchen. Little touches- comfy sofas, good lighting (we like to read), plenty of games. The karaoke machine was a hit with the kids! Outside a really nice firepit and picnic shelter with tables and party lights. Property was conveniently located to all the popular Hocking Hills sites. Would definitely recommend!!!

Birthday Getaway!
We just got back from our first visit to Hocking Hills! This property was perfect! During the time of booking, I read reviews from others and noticed that many people booked return trips to stay at this property and I can see why. The location is pretty close to a lot of key Hocking Hills sites. It's also a clean and comfortable house, on a quiet street, with plenty of space to walk around. I can only imagine how beautiful the property is in the spring and summer. We hit all of the key Hocking Hills sites during our stay: Old Man's Cave. Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Whispering Cave, Conkles Hollow, and Rock House. This area is incredible and this place is a perfect home to come back to after a day filled of exploring.

Cabin in the Woods
It’s one of my favorite places to be. We go to get away from the rat race and this is a home away from home. It’s clean, spectacularly quiet, natural, and has all the amenities you may need. The house is spacious and well supplied. The grounds are alway beautiful no matter the time of year. Kevin is awesome, responsive and helpful. If you’re on the fence about going, don’t be. It’s amazing. I would know. I’ve been four times already and I’m booked for next year, too!

Great rural property near Hocking Hills
Very warm and tastefully decorated home on a secluded 5 acre beautiful property. We enjoyed walking the tree trail with our dogs and many campfires / game nights at the house after exploring/hiking Hocking Hills trails. The home was very comfortable and met all of our needs. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Family reunion at the holler
It was such a great house and property we really enjoyed all the special touches like the Halloween decorations and all the amenities. I personally loved unwinding on the swing and making a fire. I would absolutely recommend this listing for anyone looking to stay in a nice natural setting.

Visiting Hummingbird Holler
I believe this is our 6th trip. We come every Spring and Fall. We love the cabin, the land, the fire pit, the shooting range, the quiet, the lack of cars and trucks going by. On this trip we were able to meet the owner. Kevin is one great guy! He really cares about the property and makes frequent improvements. My wife and I wouldn't stay anyplace else!

Clean, Cozy & Dog Friendly Get A Way
We loved it here. I came with my husband, and his family with our Aussies and we had such a great time. The dogs loved adventuring around the creek in the back yard, 15-20 min drive to Old Man’s Cave, Rose Lake Dam, Cedar Falls & Ash Cave, we did all of them in one day. We were whooped! Every night by the fire, ate on the porch. Just perfect. Thank you for making a place a home away from home!

Great stay!
We had a great time. The house is adorable and comfortable. The property is gorgeous and private. We enjoyed the little shooting range. My kids are 13,15,18 and enjoyed themselves with ZERO cell signal. Wi-Fi was decent for phones and laptops but they actually played board games and got outside. Owner was super responsive to the minor issue we had. Only cons are the shower is pretty outdated and the AC doesn’t get below 72.. probably just fine for most people but we prefer cooler temps especially for sleeping. Overall totally recommend!

Hummingbird Hollow
It was very spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching all the hummingbirds at the feeders. It had everything we needed and we ate most of our meals at the house during our stay. We spent 3 days hiking in Hocking Hills and enjoyed relaxing at our temporary home afterwards. Wifi was not available the first 2 days, but finally came on sometime on the third day. A landline was provided at the house, which we appreciated. We were able to call our family and let them know we arrived there safely. It was kind of nice to not have the wifi though, because we spent more time outside. We enjoyed the Hocking Hillsopoly game and the word puzzle book as well.

Beautiful Property
My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful house. It was very clean and spacious. I was also thankful for the washer and dryer. We walked the grounds around the property every morning and night. My dogs enjoyed running around outside. We even used one of the trails. I ran while I was there around the property. We saw many hummingbirds little frogs and bunnies. There were also a few deer around. This property has a place to shoot so we brought our guns and target. That was a lot of fun. The only thing I would do different is bring a few throw rugs. My big dog has hip issues and had a hard time in the kitchen and dining room. If you decide to stay there you will not be disappointed.

This has, by far, been the most relaxing VRBO we've stayed in. They thought of everything to make our stay perfect. I have never seen so many hummingbirds in one place! We will definitely be back and plan to stay longer next time.

Just Perfect
Our family of five (kids’ ages 4, 7, 9) had a wonderful time at this home. It fit us perfectly and we so enjoyed its seclusion. Our kids had a ball on the swings, in the creek, playing fooseball and utilizing the bunk beds. The fire pit was great for cooking hot dogs and making s’mores. The kitchen was completely filled with anything you’d possibly need to make a meal. Kevin was so easy to work with in booking, check in, and with any questions we had while staying. We would 100% absolutely recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the Hocking Hills area.

Absolutely beautiful
The property was just gorgeous! It has everything you need and more. I bought several things for the trip that didn’t end up needing bc it was already there, from corn hole boards down to dog treats. My family had a great couple days. It was so peaceful. My teen girls love the karaoke during a rainy night we were chased from the fire pad. Heard great things about the creek but wasn’t much water while we were there. Would like to come back in spring and maybe there will be more. Kevin was very kind and responsive. Overall a great place and would definitely go back

Wonderful Time
Property inside and out was very clean, the location was perfect, short distance to places of interest. The house was perfect for our family. The twins had their own room with bunk beds and the master was perfect. Our kids loved playing in the stream and on the swings. Love being out by the fire in the evening listening to nature. We even harmonized off key with the Karaoke machine. We had a great time! Kevin’s was easy to communicate with, very helpful. We will be back!
