"Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

"Overall great stay! Location was fantastic, with beautiful views, we manage to see the northern lights from the hot tub, 2 nights out of three! Bed was super comfortable, and the cottage is in great condition. Netflix was available as well as great internet. Unfortunately the hob wasn’t working and we couldn’t get in touch with the host on Saturday, which was a bit disappointing. Also might be worth mentioning that there is no storage, so unpacking wasn’t really possible. 4x4 car is necessary...

The house includes a fully functional kitchen; full laundry facilities; sauna & hot tub; four separate bedrooms; and beautiful views. The house is close to the village of Laugarvatn which has numerous lunch/dinner options. I would recommend the Lakefront Villa for 2-3 couples or an extended family."
