Excellent stay

We loved the villa, it was beautiful and peaceful. Pictures don’t do justice to its beauty. Everything went well and smooth with check in. jumbo was very helpful. There was a construction nearby but that did not affected us.

Tropical Paradise

We had an amazing stay in this lovely villa. The garden and pool is totally Cared and looks like a tropical paradise. Yumbo is a person who lives next the villa. He is caring everything and helping in each situation. He is very kind. Sabine is the one who responsible for everything, check in, check out and she will help with all your needs. Transfer, Taxi, informations around Las Terenas, who do do a trip, she organizes the ladies to cook in the villa if you wish. She always responds very quick and is very helpful. Jose owns the villa and a very friendly person and also answering very quickly. He designed the villa very lovely and typical for the island. We loved the athmosphere in the traditional style. You have everything what is needed and even more in the villa. As well dish washer😍😍😍. In total we all were very happy and had a great time. We wanna thank , Sabine, Yumbo and Jose. They are all just great and helpful on each situation.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit Wohlfühlcharakter!

Nachdem man dem turbulenten Treiben in Las Terrenas entkommen ist und über die Strandstraße das Ferienhaus erreicht, eröffnet sich mit diesem idyllischen Ferienhaus ein Ort der Ruhe & Entspannung. Der Pool im Mittelpunkt des sehr gepflegten, tropischen Gartens ist ein absolutes Highlight in Größe und Beschaffenheit und wurde von uns ins Herz geschlossen. Das Ferienhaus ist großzügig angelegt und bietet viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten zum Chillen, Lesen oder einfach nur dem Sound der Natur zu lauschen. Als großen Pluspunkt empfanden wir die deutschsprachige Ferienhausbetreung durch Sabine, welche uns mit wertvollen Informationen zur Seite stand und uns auch bildhaft den kürzlich durchgezogenen Hurricane schildern konnte. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, den man sehr gern noch verlängert hätte!

Très bel endroit !

En famille, la maison s’est révélée très pratique, agréable et très bien située à qq centaines de mètres de la plage, accessible à pied sans problème. Environnement résidentiel et sans (trop) de bruit des voisins. La piscine et le jardin ont été très appréciés. Endroit et location féériques. Merci !

Wonderful family vacation!

This beautiful property is really all about the pool and tropical garden. The kitchen has all necessary equipment and is really indoor/outdoor. The sitting area is comfortable and the kids enjoyed the tv. Really, however, all of us spent a lot of time in the pool or hammocks. My only caveat is the distance to the beach. It’s really not walkable. We rented a car and had access that way. We loved Las Terrenas and look forward to returning.

A little piece of paradise

We had a wonderful stay in las Terrenas and the villa was beyond our expectations! The house is incredible and tastefully decorated. The pool, garden and terrasse are amazing. The villa is very well maintained by the guardian (who is very helpful and kind). We could not hope for a better experience!

Terrible Experience

I went there with my family hoping for a week of relaxation. The Villa had a beautiful pool and nice big rooms. It's a bit outdated and the internet connection was terrible. The beach is several minutes away walking and I was hoping it was a bit closer. However, this is not what made the trip so terrible and unsafe. Two nights in a row, the electricity went out and there was no power plant (generator). It was hot and dark and my family did not feel safe. We ended up leaving after only 3 days. When I asked about a generator they told me they did not have one and that next time it's my responsibility to check before booking. I have never had such a response and such an awful experience. I travel all the time and could not believe it. Every other Villa/ Hotel I have ever stayed had backup power and I never had to ask about it. Get it together property owner!!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We loved staying here! It felt very luxurious to have such great outdoor space. Location was great. Communication was excellent. Jumbo took great care of the property and was very helpful and Sabine helped with all of the details, making our trip very easy and comfortable all around. Highly recommend it!

Marvelous Villa, Grounds n Pool at the Passion

Simply wonderful. The grounds, pool, and lovely 4 bedroom house all better than expected. The beach, and a few beach bars just down a very quick walkable path. The town, a bit further along a pristine , well kept beach. Simply amazing and thanks Jumbo snd Sabine for keeping it great... joe

Ferien im Paradies

Wunderschönes Haus mit karibischem Charme! Wir haben uns jederzeit wohl gefühlt und die Tage am Pool genossen! Die Betreuung durch Sabine von der Hausverwaltung und Humbo welcher für Haus und Garten zuständig war liess keine Wünsche offen! Die vermittelte Köchin welche uns zweimal bekocht hat hat einen super Job gemacht und uns fantastisch bewirtet! Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder in dieses Haus zurück kommen!

The house and grounds are beautiful. We stayed 3 weeks with another couple. We did rent a car to travel to different restaurants and beaches. Driving is horrible, there are no rules so be prepared but we would do it again. There is one safety concern, there is no rail to get in and out of the pool, my wife fell and broke her ankle.

Beautiful and well located

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was even more beautiful than the pictures, Jumbo does an amazing job with the garden and pool. We enjoyed being back from the beach, it was much quieter. Beach is only a short walk down the road. The beach here is gorgeous, as are the many beaches in the area. We highly recommend Henri at Peninsula Tours, we enjoyed the beach trips and zip lining between days spent at the pool. The Komida! app makes food home delivery super easy. Would stay again here any time. Sabine and the rest of the staff was great.

MAGNIFIQUE

Une villa de rêve avec des prestations de grande qualité. Dans un environnement très agréable à 7 minutes à pied de la belle plage de Las Balenas. Personnel de maison efficace et sympathique. Un moyen de transport nous paraît toutefois souhaitable pour aller au centre ville.

Paradise!

This home is exactly how it is advertised - beautifully maintained and everything provided that you need. Jumbo, who takes care of the property, was so very helpful. He kept everything in great order and was able to answer any questions. The beach is a little further than we thought it would be - but we drove without any problems to several local beaches that were truly beautiful.

Ein kleiner Traum am Strand

wir waren mit unserer Familie über Pfingsten 2 Wochen in dieser Villa. Was soll ich sagen es war ein Traum. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man ist schnell beim Strand. Zu Fuß haben wir ca 15min direkt nach Las Terrenas gebraucht. Oder mit dem Motorrad Taxi :-) Wir waren nur leider von der Zeit her etwas vor der Saison. Als wir abgereist sind hat man deutlich mehr Touristen und auch mehr offene Geschäfte gesehen. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Der Stand war sauber und direkt vor der Tür war ein Riff zum tauchen und schnorcheln. Wir wurden wunderbar durch unseren Housekeeper Jumbo versorgt der so unglaublich aufmerksam war!! Großes Lob an Ihn. Jeden Tag wurde geputzt und jede nach war ein Nachtwächter da. Bei allen Fragen konnten wir uns immer an Robi wenden und er hat uns sofort weitergeholfen. Ich würde diese Villa jederzeit wieder buchen! Es ist alles genau wie auf den Fotos.

Loved it!!

The house was beautiful and cozy just as is shown in the pictures. We loved it here and definitely want to return. The pool was clean and it was so nice to jump in after a day at the beach. Jumbo took care of cleaning our rooms and making our beds every day, and it was great to come back to a clean place. The beach in Las Terrenas is stunning and only about a 7 minute walk from the place. I definitely felt safe there but do listen to the warnings and don't come with valuables. Put anything of importance in the safe that they provide. I have traveled the world a lot and it is easy to let your guard down because it feels so safe. We really loved our stay there!!!

Meget fint hus, som fuldt levede op til prospektet

Huset levede fuldt op til det forventede og vi anbefaler meget gerne huset. Eneste ulempe var en rimelig lang adgangsvej i dårlig stand. Ethvert regnskyl forvandlede den til mudder og vandpytter. Vi anbefaler leje af MC eller ATV, for at kompensere for transporten. Derudover er der intet negativt, dejligt hus!

posizione perfetta, giardino e piscina bellissimi

Casa molto bella, arredata in modo curato e particolare; forse avrebbe bisogno di una piccola rinfrescata in ragione dell'inevitabile clima umido della zona. Sarebbe poi utilissima un'asciugatrice! Comunque posizione perfetta, giardino e piscina bellissimi, ottima l'assistenza di Bony e della guardia notturna. Ci ritornerei certamente! Grazie

Las Terrenas has pretty beaches and restaurant variety is good, town itself is dirty

House was as described, only negative is distance to road, its back a long, very narrow muddy road. Too far to walk and full of huge mud puddles, made driving out a hassle. On flip side, there is a good beach bar right where come out on main road

Tropical paradise

We were fortunate to enjoy this beautiful, clean and well looked after villa. Posted pictures represented the property accurately: Nicely decorated inside and out with comfortable beds and furnishings. Well stocked kitchen with good appliances, all in working order. Spacious outside living area with nice shade or sun and a sparkling clean pool. All situated on a nicely landscaped lot with beautiful tropical vegetation. Internet worked well. The location of villa is in a quiet area, with a six minute walk to the beach and its many restaurants. Nathalie from Bea location management was helpful and efficient and Bony the housekeeper did a great job looking after us. Thank you for opening your home to us...we hope to be back.

Delicate villa only 6 minutes walk from Playa Ballenas

The villa 1 is a stunning piece of living. We were a family of 6. 4 adults and two children staying for 9 days. It has everything you need for a comfortable living and the terrass with pool and hammock is just mindblowing. Easy to chill out all day!! The walk down to Playa Ballenas is about 6-7 minutes and there you find both nice calm palmtree spots as well as cosy bars and outdoor restaurants. Other nice beaches are only 15 minutes away. Taxi is inexpensive If you would like to have your own chef for a couple of nights we really recommend Jumara. Specialty is seafood. Her paella was delicious!! Nathalie who helped organize everything around the stay was great and an answer was always quickly responded to. You need to be aware that the house is in tropical jungle. So it is humid and some mosquitos. Not many But you need some repellant and also use the nets in beds at night. We rate it 4/5 because of the price during x-mas was high and the proximity to beach was not as advertised, though a pleasant stroll away only. Could really recommend this stay for a big family! Perfect

The villa was perfect for our group of 3 kids and two adults. We were minutes on foot from a beautiful beech and spent a lot of time using the pool. The house was cleaned every day and we had a woman they recommended cook our meals which were delicious. There are a lot of activities in the Las Terrenas area (zip lining, waterfall, fishing, etc). Highly recommend this as a place to enjoy a vacation. J

The property was BEAUTIFUL!

We arrived very early in the morning (about 3:30 am) with our family of 8. The home was beautifully lit up.....it was quite a sight after our long journey. Bony was there to greet us along with the security guards who all helped us get all of our luggage into the home and situated. We stayed for two weeks so we had a chance to really see the town, beaches and surrounding attractions. We loved being at the house. It felt comfortable and peaceful. Bony was available to us every morning to answer questions, call taxi's, he cleaned daily and even did laundry for us!! He was amazing! He maintains the yard as well which is equally as beautiful! Our stay proved to be quite an adventure in many ways but all in all we enjoyed the property and the excitement very much! The owner and Property managers were very easy to work with and very helpful as well! If you are looking for a real adventurous vacation and don't like the commercial- all inclusive kinds of places, this is your place:) Speaking Spanish is very important....rent quads it was so much fun! Spend lots and lots of time at Playa Bonita.....a gorgeous beach! Make friends with the locals...they are awesome! The only hard thing for us were the mosquitos. Some of our family did fine with just using one of the many things I brought with me to keep mosquitoes away but a few of us got bit a lot. Be careful of the water. While the house has hook ups for bottled water you still need to be careful about washing dishes or cooking in un-bottled water which I suspect happened at some restaurants we ate at. This I know is common sense and shouldn't be a deterrent just a little reminder. Enjoy this little piece of paradise!!
