Schöne Ferien in Canteras Las Palmas

Wir haben einen schönen Aufenthalt in einer tollen Wohnung direkt am Meer gehabt. Die Wohnung ist auch gut ausgestattet und es hat eine Parkgarage (kein zu grosses Auto).

Great location, near the beach and large number of excellent restaurants. The apartment was very well stocked. The communication with the owner with very fast and very detailed. The owners sister (Fabiola) who met us was very nice and very helpful.

Wunderschönes Apartment direkt am Strand!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Apartment sehr genossen! Die Ausstattung ist sehr modern, aber auch sehr gemütlich, einfach ganz wunderbar! Der Blick vom Apartment auf das Meer ist fantastisch und den Sonnenuntergang auf der großzügigen Terrasse genießen zu können, das hat uns sehr beeindruckt! Auch wurde und von unserem Gastgeber ein früherer Check-In und auch ein späterer Check-Out ermöglicht, wofür wir uns nochmals herzlich bedanken möchten! Diese wunderschöne Apartment können wir nur weiterempfehlen.

Enjoyable short break

Great location in Las Palmas, overlooking the promenade and beach. The large terrace is quite is a big plus factor, it is reasonably sheltered and we spent a lot of our time on the terrace. The kitchen has everything you may need if you wish to prepare your own meals. Gerardo provided a lot of useful information in advance of our trip. Shops, Bars and Restaurants all close by. We plan to return.

Hervorragendes Urlaubsappartement !!!!

Das Appartement von Gerardo liegt im 3. Stock eines sehr gepflegten und ruhigen Hauses mit direktem Blick auf den Las Canteras Strand und die Promenade. Sehr angenehm ist der Aufzug. Die Vorbereitung der Vermietung erfolgte durch den Gastgeber sehr professionell, verbindlich und in deutscher Sprache. Für uns sehr angenehm. Sonder- wünsche, wie Check-In/aut-Verschiebung waren kein Problem. Am Flughafen nahmen wir eines der vielen Taxis. Recht preiswert, fanden wir. Empfangen wurden wir von Fabiola, der reizenden Schwester unseres Vermieters. Es fühlte sich wie Ankunft bei Freunden an. Die perfekt ausgestattete Wohnung war nun für 14 Tage unser sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Großer Flat-TV, sehr gutes WLAN, Klimaanlage , professionelle Küchenausstattung- alles toll. Las Palmas Stadt ist eine Großstadt, die man auch zu Fuß erkunden kann, oder man nutzt die Touristen- Busse zu günstigen Preisen. Empfehlenswert gesonders für Fahrten in das historische Zentrum. Ein Highlight ist das Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, Die Philharmonie der Kanaren. Kartenvorbestellung aus D. ist angeraten. Für einen Autotag in die Küstendörfer ist die ORLANDO-Autovermietung fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Fahrt bis Agaete und dann zum Leuchtturm nach Puinta de Sardina war eine gute Abwechselung bei diesem Stadt- und Strandurlaub. Aber auch die Abende auf der großen Terrasse zum und nach den Sonnenuntergang haben wir sehr genossen. Der Canteras Strand und die Promenade sind die ganze Nacht hell ausgeleuchtet.

Great little apartment by the sea

This is a good quality, modern apartment with a great terrace overlooking Canteras beach. Everything worked well and the owner's representative, Miguel, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is quite small, but if the weather is good there is plenty of space on the sun terrace.

Perfekt

Wir haben sehr schöne Ferien im Appartement verbracht. Wir haben vom Abholservice Gebrauch gemacht, und alles hat perfekt funktioniert, wir wurden mit 2 Autos abgeholt und uns umgehend ins Appartement gefahren. Die Lage des Appartements ist perfekt, die unmittelbare Strandnähe (Eingang auf der Strandpromenade!) aber auch die Nähe von vielen guten Restaurants ist unübertreffbar. Obwohl das Appartement auf der Strandpromenade liegt, ist fast kein Lärm zu hören. Das Appartement ist mit allem nur erdenkbarem ausgestattet was man braucht, und sehr schön, stilvoll und modern eingerichtet, man fühlt sehr wohl sofort. Unser absolutes Hightlight ist aber der Balkon. Ein sehr großer Balkon, mit einem Tisch wo man ohne Probleme zu 4 Personen morgens beim Sonnenaufgang Frühstück geniessen kann, und 2 Sonnenliegen. Wir haben sehr viel Zeit auf dem Balkon verbracht, da man nie genug von diesem Ausblick bekommen kann. Gerardo war immer sehr hilfsbereit, beantwortet immer sehr schnell alle Fragen, und seine Insidertipps haben unsere Ferien noch bereichert. Wir würden das Appartement immer wieder weiterempfehlen und werden auch sicherlich wiederkommen.

Un excepcional apartamento en la mejor playa

Estuvimos dos semanas en el piso y lo pasamos muy bien. El piso tenía todo lo que esperábamos, la decoración cuidada hasta el mínimo detalle y con todo tipo de comodidades. Recibimos un gran trato por parte del propitario, que atendió todas nuestras peticiones. El piso disponía además de juguetes para niños y cuna. Sin duda, lo mejor, la terraza que está prácticamente sobre la playa. El piso está ubicado en la mejor zona de la playa de Las Canteras con diferentes restaurantes, comercios y atracciones muy cerca.

Great experience/ Laadukas huoneisto

Great apartment with good location and modern facilities. We really enjoyed the view to the sea from the large terrace. As a family with two year old, toys in the apartment and playgrounds near were a huge plus. Everything was taken care of professionally and with kindness. We can truly recommend this apartment to anyone. Hieno ja moderni huoneisto hyvällä sijainnilla. Suuri parveke ja merinäköala ovat yhtä upeat kuin kuvissa. Asunto on toimiva myös lapsiperheelle, sillä läheiset leikkipaikat ja asunnosta löytyvät lelut helpottavat lasten viihtymistä sekä pakkaamista. Kaikki käytännön asiat hoituivat asiantuntevasti ja ystävällisesti. Voimme suositella asuntoa ilomielin niin pariskunnille kuin perheille.

Amazing !

I have been coming to Las Palmas for over 10 years for professional reasons, mainly to hotels. For the first time, I wanted to have an appartment because I traveled with my family (2 adults, 2 children). I was not disapointed ! Gerardo's place is amazing : being an architect, he made a fantastic use of the space he has. Everything is well thought, design furniture, wooden floors, the kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is very well made. The terrace is unbelievable and the view breathtaking. It takes about 30 seconds to go from your room to the beach ! Gerardo leaves tons of great advice about what to do on the island or where to eat. His kids even left some toys my children used. There were a few presents when we arrived, beach games...From the first contact to our stay, Gerardo was extremely responsive, writing back to me usually within a few hours. I have to say that I have rarely been so happy about a rented place or the contact I have had with an owner. Thank you Gerardo and congratulations for making us feel at hom ! People out there who want to have a good time in Las Palmas, go to the beach, sunbathe looking at the atlantic oceans, within walking distance of some of the great restaurants of the island, look no further : this is THE place.

Superb apartment with great views

We spent 2 relaxing weeks in this really lovely modern apartment. It is very well situated for supermarkets,super Spanish restaurants and of course great walks on the fabulous Las Canteras beach and promenade. Gerardo was a pleasure to deal with when making the arrangements. He provided us with some very helpful local information and maps. Miguel was there to meet us at the airport as arranged. Fabiola gave us a lovely warm welcome at the apartment. The apartment is light and airy well equipped and very quiet (even during carnival!). The terrace is just perfect for dining and sunbathing in relative privacy. Of course the ocean views are amazing. We have already booked another 2 week stay for later in the year.

Great holidays

Hello, We spent such a nice week in this cosy apartment on the beach. Me and my husband together with our son (6), we have really enjoyed our stay. As you can see on the pictures, the flat is directly on the beach. You can’t be closer to the sea. As regards to the apartment, I can confirm the description from the advertisement. Wonderful big and sunny terrace with a little cactus garden, nice and modern furniture, very nice and modern kitchen and bathroom… Everything is very clean and in a perfect shape. And quite. I hate when I can’t sleep because of the noise but this really wasn’t the case. We have got a nice rest. What we as well liked very much was the little surprise which expected us in the flat when we have arrived. I don’t tell you more, but I’m sure that you will enjoy it :-) Shops, restaurants, cafes are very close, so that you don’t have a long way to go. We tried one of the restaurants recommended to us by the flat owner and we liked it very much. If you like music, the auditorium of Las Palmas is to a walking distance. It wasn’t difficult to get tickets at the box office and the concert to which we went was amazing. Our son, he loved to observe the surfers from the terrace. Next year (we plan to come back) we will try put him on classes which seem to take place on the beach. There are us well playgrounds around and we went there almost every day. To resume: all around it was a very nice trip and we might come back next year, Katka

Die Wohnung liegt schön. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Meer ist nur für geübte Schwimmer. Wir Ostseebader hatten viel Spaß im Wasser. Danke an Geordano und seine zauberhafte Schwester für ihre Geduld.

Tolle Unterkunft

Top Lage! Mit dem Auto ist man schnell auf der Autobahn, vermeidet Stadtgekurve. Parkmöglichkeit in der Garage nur für kleine Autos geeignet. Innerhalb der Stadt gute ÖV-Anbindung, zudem vieles in Laufnähe. Appartment umfassend ausgestattet, alles in gutem Zustand und benutzte Ausstattung einwandfrei funktionierend (Kaffeemaschine, Waschmaschine, Bad/WC, etc.). Hammer Balkon! Betten i.O. - für zwei Erwachsene wäre gleichwertige Bettenausstattung in den zwei Schlafräumen wünschenswert. Alles stimmig beschrieben und vorgefunden wie dargestellt. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen :-)

A holiday unfortunately spoilt by the accommodation

Unfortunately, the communication by the owner was poor ,the flat was dirty and the description of the property was not accurate. On arrival to the flat we found the parking was substandard, the oven was not working (or any attempt to fix it), the fridge was very dirty, we also had rough night sleep due to the ill fitting shutters that move throughout the night. After we booked we received a long list of rules pertaining to the use of the outside furniture, which made them largely unusable, to add to the whole experience we were then fined and additional 80 euros for the replacement of an ill fitting outside furniture cover (that we didn't use) that blew off in the storm. We would definitely not visit this flat again which was a shame.

Beste Aussichten für den Urlaub!

Die Terrasse ist bereits in mehreren Bewertungen gepriesen worden und wir können uns dem nur anschließen: Sie macht die Wohnung zu etwas ganz Besonderem! Jeder Zeit den unverstellten Blick auf Meer und Küste wahlweise in der Sonne oder im Schatten, bequem sitzend oder liegend genießen zu können, ist sehr entspannend und erholsam und Urlaubsfeeling, wie man es sich wünscht! Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr durchdacht und hochwertig, wenngleich man einigen Stücken die starke Beanspruchung durch Feriengäste mittlerweile ansieht. Die Wohnung verfügt über viel durchdachten Stauraum, sodass man Gepäck und Koffer(!) so unterbringen kann, dass sie nie stören; das gilt auch für das (sehr kleine) Bad, wo alle Sanitärartikel in Schrank oder Schublade untergebracht werden können. Eine umfangreiche Küchenausstattung ermöglicht problemlos die Selbstversorgung vor Ort. Die Lage der Wohnung an der Strandpromenade haben wir als ideal empfunden, weil das Haus in einem ruhigen Abschnitt liegt (keine Gastronomie im EG), aber fußläufig alles erreichbar ist; sowohl Restaurants und Cafés für jeden Geschmack, als auch z.T. hochspezialisierte Geschäfte für den täglichen Einkauf. So konnten wir z.B. hervorragende glutenfreie Produkte von einer Bäckerei / Konditorei aus knapp 200m Entfernung genießen und haben uns über das umfangreiche Sortiment an Spezialprodukten der ebenfalls fußläufig zu erreichenden Supermärkte sehr gefreut. Kontakt und Kommunikation mit dem sehr freundlichen Vermieter funktionieren verlässlich und schnell, sodass Fragen schnell geklärt werden können. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sie im Wiederholungsfall (mit 3 Personen) gerne wieder nutzen!

Apartment in bester Lage in Las Palmas

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Apartment von Gerardo, diesmal im Januar um zu prüfen, ob man in Las Palmas überwintern kann. Das haben natürlich andere schon vor uns überprüft und sind, wie wir, zu dem Ergebnis gekommen: man kann!! Zum Apartment selbst ist zu sagen, was besseres wird sich nicht finden. Das betrifft sowohl die Ausstattung, die Lage, den Empfang und die Betreuung durch Maria und die Informationen von Gerardo. Die Hauptsache ist die Terrasse. Wer das Meer liebt, sitzt auch im Januar bei 16°C nachts draußen. Mit Pulli und Rotwein. Zwischen der Terrasse und dem Meer liegt nur der Paseo de las Canteras, eine Fußgängerzone, und der Strand. Restaurants, Kiosks, Supermärkte, Bäckereien, Fitnescenter, alles was man braucht, ist in Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Restaurant "El Muro" ist besonders zu empfehlen, zu Fuß in einer Minute. Ein Auto kann man sich bei Cicar mieten, zu Fuß in zehn Minuten. Wir waren auch im Süden der Insel. Von San Augustin über Playa del Ingles bis nach Puerto Mogan gibt es viele Touristen. Puerto Mogan ist unserer Ansicht nach am schönsten. Aber Las Palmas ist schöner. Man ist hier weniger Tourist und kann sich besser ins spanische Leben integrieren. Für die Fahrt quer durch die Insel sollte man einigermaßen schwindelfrei sein und darf Tejeda und Teror nicht auslassen. Auch der Botanische Garten ist ein Muss, aber natürlich gibt es noch viel mehr. Wir wünschen allen, die sich dafür entscheiden einen wunderschönen Urlaub auf der Insel des ewigen Frühlings. Perfectly located well-equipped apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in Gerardo's apartment! The welcome package was highly appreciated and the apartment was perfect for our family with two children. We enjoyed the sound of the waves also from inside, when it was a bit too windy to sit outside on the terrace in the evenings. We snorkelled neer the reef just a few meters to the right of the apartment and watched the surfers trying to master the waves to the left. Our children appreciated the toys and bodyboard. The pictures are very well reflecting what the apartment looks like.

Traumhaft schöne Architektenwohnung :-)

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, die in ihrer Lage nicht zu toppen ist!!! Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, modern und mit allen wichtigen Features ausgestattet. Supermarkt sowie die diversen Restaurants auf der Promenade sind in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Außerdem möchten wir uns für das tolle "Welcome Paket" bedanken und die herzliche Betreuung durch Miguel (Muchas gracias por todo Miguel :-)). Aber auch die schnelle und verlässliche Abwicklung durch Gerardo war außerordentlich!!! Vielen Dank an Gerardo, Katharina, Miguel und seine Frau! Wir empfehlen euch weiter :-) Liebe Grüße Sandra & Jürgen

Las Canteras, der schönste Strand der Kanaren

Wer den Playa del Ingles zu überlaufen findet, macht Urlaub in Las Palmas. Das Appartment von Gerardo und Katarina bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Restaurants und Supermärkte erreicht man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß und ein großes Einkaufszentrum in 10 Minuten. Innerhalb von 15 Minuten ist man am Hafen und unterwegs gibt's alles, was man sonst noch braucht, wie ATM, Zeitungen und Geschäfte aller Art. Die Ausrüstung des Appartments ist perfekt, wir waren zu zweit, vier sind kein Problem. Die Terrasse, wie im Bild, ist das Highlight. Hier morgens zu frühstücken, tagsüber rum zu lümmeln und abends gemütlich ein Fläschchen Rotwein zu genießen, das macht den Urlaub unvergesslich. Als Ausflüge sind der Botanische Garten in Las Palmas, und die Städte Tejeda und Agaete mit dem Valle de Agaete zu empfehlen, aber die Insel bietet natürlich noch viel mehr. Unser Geheimtipp: das Restaurant "El Muero" 50 Meter am Strand lang nach rechts. Beim Weinkauf im Supermarkt sollte man darauf achten, mehr als vier Euro pro Flasche auszugeben, dann kann man nix verkehrt machen!! Wir wollen wiederkommen.

Tolle Wohnung, tolle Lage

Auch wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und können die positiven Aspekte der vorherigen Bewertungen nur bestätigen! In Kürze noch folgendes: Der "Betreuer" vor Ort absolut freundlich, zuverlässig und pünktlich. Die herzliche Atmosphäre spiegelt sich schon bei Ankunft in Form eines "Care-Paketes" :o) wieder. Professionelle, unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Wahnsinns Stauraum in unzähligen Einbauschränken. An der Lage auch besonders, der Ausblick auf die Wellenreiter. Markise über der Terrasse Gold wert. Kommunikation mit Gerardo schnell und herzlich. Kommen gerne wieder und sagen nochmals danke für die tolle Zeit!
