"Absolutely disgraceful and completely thieving business! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I stayed at this Pub in Dec 25 and the accommodation was booked and paid for weeks prior with a well known and reputable third party. Upon arrival it was questioned whether I had paid for the accommodation and I advised the lady that yes it was paid for already and I showed her the receipt. "Parking is not available at the hotel, and we did not drive, we were dropped off via taxi at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities. Staff were extremely helpful, food was good and fresh. Nice outdoor seating/eating area, also a cozy sitting area to enjoy a glass of wine. Would definitely book here again."

"Had a lovely stay at Pengelly Farmhouse. A beautiful properly, spotlessly clean and lovely thoughtful touches. Homemade biscuits were lovely and even some treats for our dog. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and perfectly cooked! We will most definitely be back again, thank you!"

"Lovely historic hotel in an absolutely stunning coastal setting. Close to walks and the village of Port Isaac. You must like hills. The views are breathtaking. The hotel is part of an excellent local restaurant and a well-loved and cozy pub. We found the staff very friendly and helpful from start to finish. "A lovey 300 year old cottage. Beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean. A full English breakfast sets you up for the day. Paula and Simon are wonderful hosts, very welcoming. We felt like we were visiting friends. Well located for getting around the area, Eden project and popular beaches and harbours a short distance away. "

The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. "Our room was lovely with great views and good amenities. But the stay was very much let down by the attitude and lack of communication from the majority of the staff. When checking in I confirmed with the receptionist that we had a table booked in the Galley restaurant for dinner. On arrival in the bar for a pre-dinner drink my husband checked in with the waitress, who showed him our reserved table and told him to go through when we were ready. She did say that the Galley restaurant was shut...
